There's a reason why Los Indios Bravos is second when it comes to dining options in Boracay. Towards the back beach, Bulabog, you'll find this industrial-themed restaurant that was inspired by the conceptualization of the Los Indios Bravos in our history books. Aiming to bring a revolutionary concept to the island, the owners, created the restaurant to cater to those looking for hearty meals to go with a round of perfectly crafted and proudly local beer.

Although I didn't get to try their alcohol, I had a lovely early dinner with a group of friends and I got a taste of what people are raving about. Here's what we ordered:

Grilled Cheese (Php 310) 1108811088110881108811088
Aged cheddar, gouda, gruyere on grilled sourdough bread, topped with fried egg. Served with fries and house pickled vegetables.

Chicken Tikka Masala (Php 395) 110881108811088
Indian Chicken Tikka with curried tomato masala topped with fried onions and yogurt served with steamed rice, cucumber and tomato chutney.

Chicken Tikka (Php 395) 11088110881108811088
Grilled Indian Chicken Tikka with curried tomato masala topped with fried onions, and yoghurt served with steamed rice, cucumber raita and tomato chutney.

The Indios Bravos Pork Schnitzel (Php 360) 110881108811088
Austrian style breaded pork, lemon wedge and fries.

I must say, the grilled cheese was absolutely mouth-watering. I devoured it within seconds. Imagine the cheese oozing down your plate! Pure heaven. The pork schnitzel was sadly a bit dry and bland. It was really huge though, and it could fill up two grown men at least. Also, I preferred the Grilled Chicken Tikka over the Chicken Tikka Masala. It seemed to be a bit more flavorful and palatable than the latter, in my opinion.

Being the only place in the island that serves local craft beer is one of the highlights of this handsome gastropub that's hiding in the more quiet area of the busy island but the food most definitely puts it in your gastronomic itinerary.

Chicken Tikka + Handcrafted Beer

Chicken Tikka: the first taste would remind you of mediterranean cuisine. It's rich flavor and aroma just makes you really excited to finish these 2 kebabs. Chicken are cooked well with just the right tenderness. It comes with homemade salsa and with a creamy dressing as well as 6 pcs of sliced pita bread. If you have a big appetite you can surely finish the entire dish but if not, it's great for sharing. 128522 it's definitely something i would come back for.

Handcrafted Beer: Im a fan of handcrafted beers. They usually have 4 different flavors and you can choose one to your preference. I suggest you try these beers depending on your palate. I liked something sweet and light. It had a light malt with tropical fruits which was reminiscent of Hoegarden.

Overall, i would definitely come back to try their baked oysters and more!

Los Indios

A chic and cool place :)

If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the overly crowded main beach of Boracay then head of to the other side, the off the beaten path of Bulabog. Along the path you can see this chic pub that serves honest to goodness food and local craft beers.

The food is nothing but guilty pleasures for all types.

Overall the experience was amazing! Service and ambience is two-thumbs up :)

I love their sausages, Ultra Crispy Full Chicken Wings in a Bucket and their craft beers :)

Los Indios is one of the food gem I found in Boracay. This place is on the Bulabog beach side of boracay away from the crowded station 1-3. This is my first time to explore found on this side of Boracay. Most of the time on our visit before we just stick with the beach side of Station 1-2 for our food find. But after researching for this travel I found out about this side of Boracay.

Los Indios name is quite misleading because you would think they would serve Filipino foods, but the food they serve here is more of an international mix of cuisine. We ordered some variety of dishes here are some of my fave:

128205Cobb Salad - this one is served in a big bowl that is good for 3-4 person. I love the mix of grilled chicken and salmon combined with crispy lettuce dressed with apple vinaigrette and blue cheese. This salad really tasted good.

128205Chicken Wings Bucket - their version of chicken wings is on the crispy chicken joy level. I love the sweet honey garlic sauce that we chose. Blend well with the crispiness of the wings.

128205Sausage and Mash - Four kinds of sausage. This one reminds me of Swiss Inn in BF Homes. Bratwurst and Cheese Bockwurst stood out for me. The other two was quite dry in the inside. Mash Potato was so fluffy good. Added bonus was that the pickled veggies were also delicious.

128205Chicken Tikka Masala - yup another chicken dish. My friend didn't realize we ordered 3 different kinds of chicken dishes. Lol.. Another great dish. The curry and the salsa like sauce was so delicious when combined.

128205Craft Beer - Love that craft beer have already rich Boracay. Los Indios serve Draft beer of this craft beer and they've got my favorites by Nipa Brew.

Overall when in Boracay and you want some delicious food away from the crowd. This place is the place to be. Cheers to that!

When in Boracay, make sure to visit this place. If you want to stay away from the busy and noisy beach front restaurant or bars and have a nice chill time, this is the place that you're looking for. Price wise, affordable. I ordered Pan-Fried Salmon with Green Salad for Php370. Worth every cent! They also have happy hour from 10pm-12mn. Beers are 2+1. Hooray! :)

When we visited Los Indios Bravos in January it was either newly opened or just being renovated. We were walking toward Bulabog Beach when we saw this saloon-looking place straight out of a western. It looked expensive.

We grabbed a booth and admired the interior. We noticed the bar served different brands of craft beer on tap. When we checked out the menu, we were surprised to see how everything was so affordable!

It has been over a month but I can still remember the juicy sausages, Reuben sandwich, and chicken goujons done right. One of my friends feeling under the weather at the time ordered onion soup and it hit the spot! I know because I tried it haha.

We had an immensely satisfying and filling meal for four and we only paid P1,200 in total. Unimaginable. Most of the popular restaurants on Boracay are overpriced and offer food that doesn't even taste good. Los Indios Bravos, while probably not the most suitable name considering the whole Western feel, is now my favorite restaurant on the island.
