A quick escape from the metro manila hustle is something I always look forward too. Alam mo yung pagod ka na sa work, sa life at love, sa pera... Naks may hugot, but once in a while you just have to let all the stress out and relax. Whew.
Louisse Private Resort is just located in Ortigas Ext. Taytay which is about an hr or an hr and 30 min drive from Manila.
Our school org has been looking for a good retreat/outing place just near Metro Manila and good thing we found this.
'The resort has two air-conditioned bedrooms. The master bedroom has 2 queen size beds and can accommodate 2 extra mattresses. Sleeping capacity is 10 pax. The master bedroom has its own toilet and bathroom. The guest room has 3 double deck beds with sleeping capacity of 12-15 pax
The bed is not super comfy, but kayang tiisin. Malamig naman yung aircon so okay na rin.
There is an air-conditioned conference room which can be converted to a sleeping area. Mattresses with pillows and blankets will be provided to accommodate another 5-8 pax.'
Kitchen utensils are not provided but they can be rented for a certain amount which can be found on their website.
Cooked food or delivery of food is allowed within the premises. Alcohol drinks and sodas can be brought in.
Use of the basketball court is restricted until 7pm only. Loud music/sounds, loud voices by 11:30 pm.
The venue can accommodate 40 pax at maximum so this is really an ideal place for quick hangouts.
I like how the place is so neat and spacious. It's not suffocating and moving around can be so easy especially if you plan on cooking inside the kitchen and grilling raw meat. Forgot to add that before we go straight to the resort we dropped by a mall to buy the ingredients for the food we're going to eat. And since we were almost 20 pax we gave each other specific task to alleviate the hassle.
I love how the infinity pool looks. It's just so calming. I just didn't like the water temp which is so cold considering this is almost located on the mountains. Lalo na sa gabi, brrr.
It's a wifi zone area so no worries if you can't really escape from reality and have to do online jobs.
I think this is a good retreat venue because of the large space it can accommodate. They even have this open ground where I believe you can hold your event like debuts, weddings, etc. i find it also affordable since we ended up paying around P1,000 to P1,200 per pax to be able to spend an overnight here!
If you are looking for an event place which requires a pool, quite far from the city and is affordable, then this is the place you are looking for!
