For 199 pesos, there's nothing to complain about. Though the quality of their desserts are not at par with hotel buffets, it is decent enough for a next visit.

A couple of friends were going through a tough time, so I suggested that we went to Love Desserts when I saw that it was a dessert buffet place. I mean, desserts and disappointments have the tendency to go together as a cheer-up method, right? After an adventure with an Uber of getting lost through Banawe, I made it to our destination when my friends were already going through their desserts. With no additional prompting, I dove right in.

The place itself is quite small but not their selection. There were quite a few desserts present, that I decided to take what I could then eat to my heart's content. However, after a single plate, I felt as if my throat was going to give up on me with the combined sweetness of all that I had eaten.

I'm usually a big eater and granted that I had eaten a nice dinner before that, but I only had 2 plates of dessert from said place with 2 to 3 glasses of water to offset the sweetness. The desserts weren't exceptional, and I would definitely have to complain about the crepe as I ordered a strawberry and banana one but it tasted like sweet corn. I couldn't enjoy it.

They have a few items there as a part of the buffet selection to help people get rid of the "umay" from the sweetness, but with their best tasting thing on that section being fried lumpia wrappers turned into nacho-like things, it made me question.

To cap it off, there was one memorable moment with the servers that sort-of ticked me off. I get the logic of having to arrange the desserts nicely and place them in such a way that would allow for them to make room for more, but for one of the servers not to step aside or at least offer that I get my things first from the selection and outright ignored me while I had to wait until she finished? There was something off about that. Where did customer service go?

Was there an upside? Yes. I was glad that I only paid P200 for it, but I think that I would've been happier with Dairy Queen.

Would I go back? Definitely not. Would I recommend it? Not even.

For our next food trip, we went to Love Desserts buffet in Banawe. From Timog, ride Proj 2-3 Welcome Rotonda jeep then alight at Banawe Mcdonalds. From there, ride del Monte jeep. At del Monte street walk past Z Square mall until you reach Bruno’s barber shop then you would see their sign. We arrived around 6:30pm there are already groups waiting outside because the place was very small. It took an hour before we were called for an available table. It's alright since we were waiting for our other friend. There were different kinds of cakes, brownies, cupcakes, crepes, ice cream, halo halo, iced tea and milk tea, etc. I loved the milk tea but not their pearls-- I think it's kinda hard. All of them tasted so good. Sweets overlooooad! First round-- I don't know the name of these desserts sorry! From these, I liked the cheesecake the most? Dessert shots-- the one with the fruit cocktail since I'm not a fan of icings. They also serve lugaw, dynamite sticks, singkamas w bagoong and “nachos” we failed in trying all the cakes they offer and also the crepes because we were already full. Too bad! And for our finale, some calamansi and bubblegum ice cream? For only Php199, you get to enjoy unlimited desserts for two hours. Such a sweet deal. Definitely worth the price ;)

many desserts to choose from like cakes, halo halo, ice cream, macaroni & fruit salad, cookies, pastillas, nachos, dynamite, etc. the foods are really 'nakakaumay' because of its sweetness. the place is not that spacious & very crowded.

Insta-DIABETES. Good heavens, they offer an all-you-can-eat desserts for only 199 pesos. However, due to the large number of people who want to try, plus the limited tables they have inside, they only give you 2 hours indulge in all the sweets that they can offer. They have a wide variety of cakes, cookies, brownies and ice cream. You could also request for them to cook you crepes and make fresh fruit shakes. As long as you can finish the food, it is really worth it. Plus they provide savory foods like chili dynamite and nachos to remove the "umay" factor. I liked their mousses in shot glasses, also their Banana-Nutella Crepes were the bomb. Their cream puffs and eclairs were also nice, but the pate choux was a bit too crunchy for me. Gotta try this again, but maybe after I burn off all the sugar and visit my dentist for unwanted cavities :)) another jewel near Banawe for all those with cravings for desserts.

My friend just loves this place and convinced us to have our after-work bonding here. We arrived past 5pm and we were 6th on the list. It didn't take long for us to have a table. One good thing about this place is the 2-hour dining time. So clearly, you're not allowed to tambay in this place long. Thus, the speedy availability of a table. 128522

I'm trying not to be subjective here. Haha. As I looked around the buffet table, I realized that I am definitely NOT a dessert person. I had my eye on their dynamite (chili and cheese wrapped in lumpian wrapper) first. Second was the nachos. And chose cakes and parfaits randomly. I think I didn't do justice taking in the dessert buffet vibe. 128514

The dynamite was good! Plenty of cheese and just the right kick of spice. The desserts tasted good too. Just can't consume too much. It's too sweet for my palate. They offer customizing your own crepe. The crepe tasted good! You get to choose your own toppings and top it with ice cream. Their ice cream is from Big Scoop.

I guess this place is perfect for dessert lovers! 2 hours is just right to satisfy your craving. Drinks are also included here so you get the most out of your buck. 128522
