Sad excuse for an expensive bowl of noodles. Didnt taste like anything, very bland, and very heavy!

I had the DIY noodle bowl which costed me 300 pesos, I chose the egg noodles, vietnamese beef broth, shiitake mushrooms, japanese seaweed, honey glazed bbq charsiu, and shrimp wonton (as I can remember). While the mushrooms, charsiu, and the seaweed were good, I realized the charsiu added to the noodle bowl was weird haha my mistake, charsiu is still better if not floating on a noodle bowl.beef broth was bland I couldnt even taste the beef in it.

We also had some dimsum, the spareribs was good! The others I didnt try because I was already too full after eating my noodles. I felt like I chugged a lot of water. I liked their strawberry shake w/ sago, it deserves the name 'signature'. Wasnt too sweet, so good. Quite expensive though.

For me, of course the serving is big, but the price is still not good for that kind of quality and taste. They have good business because they're situated beside the casino. Service is okay naman. Note!! You cant bring minors in, they prohibit it.

This resto serves chinese and now filipino food. I ordered filipino food pancit quezon its soo good the authentic taste still there but its not nakakaumay and the noodles they used is already have great taste all the ingredients are perfectly mixed i can eat 2 orders of this pancit. This is serve with sago't gulaman also good not very sweet. The make your own soup i tried the beef its taste like bulalo with noodles very good pwedeng pang ulam sa kanin the other one is spicy its also good but im not a big fan of spicy food. Dimsum siopao and siomai are also good very meaty no msg. The lechon kawali crispy but the meat is well seasoned very tender and juicy perfect for white rice. The place is very nice service is good serving is just ok but bit pricey. The only thing i dont like is since its inside the casino and people there smoke the smell of cigarette reaches inside of the resto. Other than that i love everything here plan to return with face mask.

Last night, before watching the last performance of Les Miserables Manila at Solaire Resorts and Casino and arriving 1 hour before the show and need to eat something to prepare myself for a 3-hour run of stunning performances, I had to dined at Lucky Noodles located at the Ground Floor. 127836127831128020

Before ordering I asked the server what is the fastest among the dishes in the menu, he said Chicken Lugaw and Dimsum. I got Asian Style Chicken Lugaw with Egg 11088110881108811088️ 4/5 and Szechuan Style Steamed Chicken Feet 1108811088110881108811088️ 5/5. Social na Lugaw! Ang mahal for a lugaw 128561128561128561 pero masarap...

After 1-2 minutes my Chicken Lugaw and Chicken Feet arrived. That's fast! 128077🏼

Although their dishes is a little bit pricey compare to the other restaurants serving same dishes but they have excellent and above standard service.

Pardon the food styling of my photo (or the lack thereof), I was three-wine-bottle drunk when I took it. 128514

This review will probably be as fuzzy as my memory of what I ate in this restaurant but I will still write about it because I remembered what I ate to be really good, and not because I was drunk but because it was really good. 128513

After our session in Waterside restobar, our friend requested that we go somewhere and eat mami, because you know, drunk + mami = sober 128514128514128514

We went to Lucky noodles and noticed that the place was packed. It was around past 10pm, I think. And yes we were already deeerrrunk at that time. Don't judge me, we started at 6pm. 128513

We were greeted by the waitstaff and was led to a table near the door. I looked around and noticed that the place is quite spacious with high ceiling and it has an open kitchen I think but I'm not sure... the memory is faded. Lol. All I remember was, there were a few meats hanging. 128513

We asked to have 2 bowls of nice hot soup for the 4 of us. Two lang kasi I didn't wanna eat a bowl for myself, diet eh. Saka we were already very full. The waitstaff asked us what we wanted, I briefly scanned the menu and saw that there's an option where we can make our own noodles... I think. I'm not sure. Heh. It was a complicated menu and the letters were all jumbled (forgive me) so we just asked for what he can recommend. He said there are 2 mamis, beef brisket and wanton noodle. We asked for 2 beef briskets.

It arrived probably an hour later. Alright, I'm exaggerating but even in that state, I knew my food was taking too long to be served so we followed it up. When it arrived, as seen in the photo, I clumsily took a shot and dug in. 128514

As far as I can remember and I think I even mentioned it to my friends, the noodles were cooked perfectly and it was just the right noodle texture for me. I liked that it was thin as well. The soup was spot on. Perfect mix of a lil bit of saltiness and a tad of sweetness with the umami goodness brought about by the proper cooking of the beef broth. The beef was very tender as well. Things like these, I don't forget. Lol!

I'm not sure though If I was able to finish it off but I remembered reminding myself that I'll write about it and I also took note of the fact that the service was slow. Lol.

Yes, its not a cheap noodle place . But heres the thing , they offer a make your own noodle bowl which is good enough to share !
P300 gets you choice of soup stock, 2 meat viands , 2 veggies and 1 add on and choice of noodle type .
So we had
Braised beef and beef Tendon
Petchay and cabbage
Crispy onion
And Laksa soup, so creamy and just right spicy
The result ? Really lucky soup
Perfect for our taste
Since L and I shared this we got pork barbecue buns and fried wanton on the side .
Sarap!

Good old-fashioned Chinese food. It all depends with the dishes you get here but you could never go wrong with the steamed pork BBQ buns and the Tossed Noddles with Crispy Shrimps, Wonton, and Pork Barbecue. Yum!

The prices are super reasonable especially when you consider the portion sizes here. My only gripe was the soup. We had the Boiled Fish Ball Soup and it was flavorless. Literally tasted like water with fish balls and some vegetables.

The servers were friendly and accommodating and our orders were served in less than 15 minutes. I definitely recommend this spot if you want quality Chinese food for a great price.

Cheers
Mickey

Being my first time, not sure if I ordered the right dish. Found what i ordered quite ordinary. Nothing too special that I couldn't find at the nearest North Park. Stir fried noodles do great to nurse a slight buzz after a few drinks though. 128517

I ordered Seafood Curry laksa. I'm so happy with my food!!! The soup base was rich and flavorful.. Just the way I like it. Except for the noodles because they used Egg noodles.. I was expecting for rice noodles 128557 Well my overall rating for my laksa is 8.5/10 128077🏻

It was my first time in lucky noodles, the food were ordinary, i've had better...I have high standards in dimsum and with chinese restos because I live near banawe and the restos there serves really good food especially king chef! Well ofcourse they have a nice ambiance because its inside solaire, but what made an impression was the lady server who never smiled at us even once, she's like irritated with all of our requests...duh we were like 15pax in one long table and we ordered ala carte thats why she has to serve it one by one...i asked for water and she came back to me 30mins after, my iced tea was served 1hour after i finished my meal and the place isn't even full at all. I had the sweet and sour pork and the pork was hard and the serving is really small for it's price! the peppered beef was okay, but they served it cold =( I liked the siomai but king chef's siomai is way better... The only thing I enjoyed was the cake and it's not even from them we brought it from our friend's bakeshop! Hahahaha...

The only "affordable" resto in Solaire excluding the fast food area of course 128522 Sad to say, it's not that good 128513 I ordered the Hainanese chicken w/c was just so-so... service was pretty slow too ... Hope to try some other stuff if and when I come back...

This is sweet bean soup. FOR DESSERT. it tastes ok, sweet (like the one in the halo halo. Although this one isn't red bean) but honestly it doesnt look enticing AT ALL! i do hope they enhance this. I think it will be better to use the red bean, or they should make this dish look yummier.

What makes the best weekend? Relaxation with a hot bowl of noodles and milk tea!

We had an overnight stay at Solaire for my grandfather's birthday and decided to try out Lucky Noodles - noodles for long life!

Receptionist gave me a doubtful look asking what my age was! 128561 I looked younger than 21, geez! When I was seated, I even had to present my ID for verification of my age! #babyfaceproblems? HAHA!

Anyway, moving on, I got myself the Noodle Soup with Shrimp Wonton to warm my tummy from skipping breakfast and a hot cup of Naicha to boost up the day. 128541 I enjoyed my meal regardless of looks from the staff ensuring I'm right of age. Haha! Then on, I realized I was looking across the high-roller casino tables that's why they don't allow people less than 21 years of age as per casino policy. 128517

Oh well, overall, the meal was great with some BBQ Pork with Honey Sauce (asado) from my lola. Certainly tummy-filling for a person skipping breakfast! 128076

Might looked expensive since it's a restaurant inside the 5-star hotel-resort-casino but you get a plate of Chinese food for around 200 pesos, their dimsum is freshly made and made out of pure meat, you can taste that not much additives in it. The shrimp wonton with cheese is a must try for every visit.

You know when you've worked your arse physically for almost 5 hours and forgot to take even a sip of water, and then you realize it's lunch time and you suddenly crave for something and want TWO orders instead of one? It was that kind of day. I was with 3 other friends and we were all hungry. I decided against ordering two dry noodles with beef brisket (not even sure anymore if this is the right name) but I finished a whole order in a flash! Of course I had to pair it with their iced ceylon tea! Everything was magnified excellence--food, service, ambience... ahhhh.
