Am not sure if the menu posted here is still current. Most of the things we ordered for our New Year's Eve dinner is not in it.

They were open last Dec. 31 from 5:30-7:30pm for dinner. We were one of the only two dinner reservations for that night. When we arrived, it looked like they had just opened for us...

We quickly ordered since we knew that they would close at 7:30 so that the staff could go home and still enjoy the midnight revelry with their family.

We ordered the ff.: (in picture)
1. Mapo Tofu: because my brother and I are big tofu fans... Loved this, just the right spiciness!
2. Sweet & Sour Pork: yummy! Kid-friendly taste especially for kids who are not yet so adventurous with their palate, although I didn't notice my niece and nephew if they enjoyed it.
3. Abalone Fried Rice: one of the more expensive dishes we ordered (~1,400 for a large serving good for the 12 of us, if I remember correctly) but worth going back for.... Yes! We really did go back for this. This was our second time here.
4. Xiao Long Bao: everybody wanted this so we had 2 orders with 6 pieces each but I didn't get one...was already busy with the other dishes. Plus, I'm not so keen on scalding my tongue for New Year's Eve, thank you very much! But this is always a favorite!
5. Mixed Vegetables with Tofu: happy with the tofu again, good thing we didn't decide to get the breaded tofu with cheese or I wouldn't be able to type my review now due to too much uric acid! Good fresh veggies, can't go wrong with this one!

Not in picture:
6. Egg drop soup: good for warming the stomach!
7. Braised Beef: meh! My mom dislikes anything that smells like curry and this did... They thought it would be like the usual beef tenderloin with broccoli in Chinese restos.
8. Salt & Pepper Squid: this also came with the same smell but the flavor was actually good... The squid was typically gummy, 'though, and retained only the batter flavor. But the batter crumbs had the flavor with the chili oomph which went really well with the abalone rice!

No dessert as that was our only preparation for the midnight vigil.

Overall: service was excellent since we were practically the only reason why they had to report to work... Didn't see the other reserved party.

The price is also usually higher than the one posted here... It must have been copied from the menu in Binondo. But seriously, this branch is really more upscale than the menu posted here indicates. There are no rice toppings in this branch. Prices range from 200~2,000! But some are worth it!

Shall I come back for a third? Yeah, cause am really hankering for that Lechon Macau I wanted that nobody else did... Maybe they forgot their meds... 128541

Was supposed to treat our folks to lunch at izakaya last Sunday but when we arrived before 12, there was already a 30 minute wait, yikes! My mom in law remembered a Vietnamese restaurant they are at in makati executive suites. It was ninak btw and they were closed! On a Sunday! So we headed over to lucky rainbow even though we just had Chinese food at Phoenix court the night before 128513
Parking was ok and we were immediately led to a table. Interiors were a bit dim but I appreciated the distance between the tables (so as not to be part of another table's conversation 128517).
Since it was our first time, we asked our server for her recommendations. She was really very knowledgable and polite in introducing the dishes. We got the lechon Macau, mixed vegetables with abalone and tofu, lucky rainbow fried rice (in picture), soup (i forgot the name), chicken Szechuan and mango sago for dessert. All in 'small' size.
Food all came out within ten minutes. Service was A+, I felt like we were VIP's! There was always a server ready to refill your water or your soup etc.
Food was excellent! No 'hilo' factor for me, hence no msg (I guess) 128077🏼 the fried rice is served with sauce and they mix it for you. It also has shrimp and crab meat. Very filling!
ThI lechon Macau was crunchy and surprisingly served with mustard which gave it a different twist. Not a fan of soup but my family loved it hehe. Ohh the vegetables were good as well, crunchy broccoli and soft tofu in a special sauce.
The Szechuan chicken had just the right amount of spice 128522
The mango sago was good but I liked the one at Phoenix court better.
Total bill was php2500 with to senior citizens. A bit pricey I guess but worth it 128523

I went here for dinner before meeting friends at Finders Keepers nearby. This time I ordered the egg yolk pao and the shrimp rice roll. Both were delicious!

The egg yolk pao was heavenly especially if you eat it as soon as they serve it, while it's still hot - the yolk filling inside was warm and liquid and slightly salty and oh so good. I swear I heard angels singing when I bit into it (either it was that good or I was just really hungry). Only thing I didn't like about the pao was that the paper at the bottom was really stuck to it, I had to take care to peel it off lest I end up peeling off half the pao skin as well!!

The shrimp rice roll was pretty good, the rice wrapper was soft yet firm. There was ample sauce, slightly sweet. I actually liked this more than the hakaw I had during my precious visit.

Definitely coming back again for these 2 dishes! And hopefully with more people next time so I can order other stuff to try!

I'd heard of this place from a friend months ago but kept forgetting to check it out. I finally had the chance earlier today. I was by myself so I couldn't order much, so I decided to go for my usual favourite dimsum dishes. Their hakaw was really good - freshly made, with a generous serve of shrimps inside. Their xiao long bao was also good, though I think Lugang Cafe and Crystal Jade still make better ones. I found the skin to be a tad too thick than usual, and the soup inside was a bit too thick and a touch sweeter than I would like.

I came at a weird time, around 5pm, so I was the only one there. Service was really fast and the waiter kept refilling my tea and water even before I would think to ask.

The place is set up to look swanky, so I was pleasantly surprised to find the prices to be affordable.

I'd definitely come back to try their other dishes.

Deep fried pigeon again ... Tasty & flavorful ... Skinny & bony pigeon ... Not much meat & a little too dry with pepper salt on the side

They serve shark's fin and actively promote it! What kind of establishment in this day and age still does this? I'm disappointed to still see this restaurant encouraging the barbaric custom.

A little pricey but it is worth it. Usually, manager's recommendation is great if you can't decide what to order.
