Came here just for dessert. Yep, surprised to also see a line here. But, it took us 2 mins before we got seated. Not bad. Not bad.

We just ordered their Chocolate XiaoLongBaos. 127851127851127851 it's not my first time trying this.

Php288 for 8 pcs. Not bad too.

Our order took awhile before it was served. I kind of expected it already, the same thing happened when we ordered the same at Megamall. Probably took 15 to 20 mins , I would say. For me, it is worth the wait!

The XiaoLongBaos were like a Mochi Texture! The chocolate inside wasn't too sweet it was more on the bitter side. They probably used dark chocolate 128077🏻

I find the ones here a bit more tough than the one in Megamall, the tops need a little more time in the steamer...

-1 star for that.

Staff were very accommodating. Food quality is good. Just the typical chinese restaurant flavors. Price is sorta okay with the food quantity. Service is good. 128077🏼

We ate here for my brother's birthday, great interiors I might say! Feels like your really eating in a secluded restaurant away from the mall rush. They have a set menu for 4 pax at 1999 with rice, xiao long pao, soup, and 4 other dishes. The pork xiao long pao was great saucy and all, shrimp with wasabi mayo was also yummy just like what I eat at Century restaurant, sautéed broccoli was steamed perfectly also. I didn't like their clam soup it was just plain and bland also the pork chop was dry and tasted nothing special. Since you cannot mix and match on the set menu you really can't have the best dishes among he 4 set menus.

Had a light dinner after the movies.

Beef Hofan - very small serving. Limited beef.

Pork And Shrimp Siomai - not good. Had a thick wrapper and the meat wasnt seasoned well and had a weird texture.

Their prices are higher than the other better Chinese restaurants and yet the quality isnt there IMO. I'd rather eat at Choi Garden or Gloria Maris both in GH.

The sofa upholstery was very worn out. With the prices, the least they could do was have it repaired.

I have always shied away from Lugang because, well, it sounds like "lug.." oh well you know what I'm talking about right. 128514

Their selection of Xiao Long Bao and Milktea is extensive you'll find yourself flipping through the menu several times. Nakakahilo ang dami ng choices ah.. 9996🏼128513

I heard from other looloo reviewers that Xiao Long Bao tastes like Tinolang Manok and indeed it does. Akala ko ako lang nakakapansin 128514. Best one for me is the Crab Roe flavor. 128077🏼 hindi nakakaumay even if it ain't hot anymore.

Other things we tried were the Golden Fried Rice, Satay Beef and the Fish Fillet crispy Tausi all were pretty much standard. But the Oyster Omelette we liked best. This was like the Oyster version of Okoy. Crunchy outside and a bit tender inside. 128077🏼

While Manila waits for Din Tai Fung to finally arrive on its shores, people can enjoy Lugang Cafe's Xiao Long Bao in the meantime. Each piece is packed with flavor. I highly recommend the original and the Crab Roe variant. The dumpling wrapper is delicate yet strong enough to keep the broth from bursting. Lugang also serves other specialty dishes but I'd rather stick to their XLB.

I've been hearing about Lugang Cafe for quite some time but never had the chance to try it out. We ate lunch here a few weeks ago for my cousin's birthday. I was expecting flavorful dishes since chinese/taiwanese food are known for that. But for me, nothing really special. It was just okay, The only thing that stood out for me was their Pork Xiao Long Bao. I like the complexity of the broth and I enjoyed eating it.

There's a reason why Lugang is one of the most successful Chinese restaurant chains in the Philippines - quality food and service. I have dined here numerous times and not once have I been disappointed with the staff's service.

Here are my usual orders in Lugang:

Steamed Pork Xiao Long Bao & Shrimp and Pork Shiao Mai: You can never go wrong with these classic dim sum. Perfect with Lugang's House Tea.

Pan-Fried Siopao: I need not go to Ongpin to enjoy these succulent treats. Hoisin sauce, which is available upon request, complements the siopao's filling perfectly.

Roasted Meat Combination: Combination of roasted asado, crispy pork, century eggs, and jellyfish. Not enough meat, if you ask me, but the roasted asado tastes really good.

Sweet and Sour Pork: A standard Chinese entrée that I order in every Chinese restaurant.

Three-Cup Chicken: A crowd-pleaser. This is my favorite entrée in Lugang's menu. Perfectly flavored, you won't regret ordering this dish.

Birthday Noodles: As far as value for money goes, this delivers in both quality and quatity. Packed with veggies, meat, and quail eggs, this dish serves 3-4 people.

Green Tea and Coconut Flavored Snow Ice: If you still have room for dessert, I highly recommend this treat. A great palate cleanser, this serves 3-4 people.

If you want authentic chinese food then this is the place for you if you were at MOA . The place looks bigger than it really is because of all the mirrors . It was a full house when i went there after a disappointing experience from tokyo cafe which was right across . It was packed with chinese customers this made me think that this maybe a good place for chinese food . I was right all my dishes were really good sorry I forgot what they were called but they looked delicious in the menu pics and yup all were . 128540A good experience here service was fair considering it was a full house 128512

I had a craving for xiao long bao so I headed to Lugang Cafe. I was a bit disappointed as the quality of the xiao long bao seems to have deteriorated. 128532 The soupy broth wasn't as tasty as before, and several of my dumplings broke while I was picking them up from the container 128553

Had our early dinner here and as usual, dinner = light meal only 128529

Soooo we ordered our usual meals like their Kung Pao Tofu ( our fave! 127775127775127775127775127775 ) Xiao Long Bao ( ofc! 128521 ) Pan fried siopao ( Yummy! 128523 ) The one with broad noodles and beef ( I forgot its name 128556 ) and my favorite, their apple juice! 9786️ my relatives are kinda KJ because they always order cold water only for drinks! 128528

Their service will always be 127775127775127775127775127775 no doubt about that.

I've always wanted to eat here. The glass door of their kitchen was very inviting especially when there is someone preparing dimsum. It's like watching Cooking Master Boy (Japanese anime) in real life. Haha 128514

I invited mom to try the Xiao Long Bao. And she liked it! Yay! I really love Xiao Long Bao and I think Lugang Cafe's version ranks second on my list.

The prices on their menu is a bit high but when you see the interiors of the restaurant, you can tell that the ambiance is really elegant.
