In fairness, authentic Chinese food nila with reasonable price!

Just finished our management meeting and the team decided to have lunch in Luk Foo.We eat here many times already since we are near. I ordered Cold cuts and let them have the rest. Since I'm not new in the place I can say that I'm familiar already with the taste of what they serve. Everything we had here was great, consistency wise it was perfect and what caught my "taste attention" is this cold cuts, for me it was so good. All Chinese resto serve this. Yes, it may all looks the same but not the taste.

COLD CUTS.PERFECT. Service is good is just that the place is a little bit small.

Pardon my look. I just woke up from my afternoon nap when the fambam dragged me outta bed and take me out for some Chinese food. Luckily, there's one near our house.

What I love about this restaurant is their spinach soup and house tea! 10084️ As usual we get our Chicken Wings, Fish Fillet in Tausi, Crispy Chicken (I also love the chips that come with it), and some Mango Sago for desserts.

Service was okay. The time we were here, there were few guests inside; some of the staff were noisy, laughing out loud behind their bar area which quite turned me off. But overall I loved the food. 127881

Not a fan of Chinese food. But

I love the food we ordered. The best ones were the Spinach Soup and the Pork Spare Ribs. Their best seller was the fish. PAMPLONA?? I dont know how they call it but something like that. HAHAHAHA. I dont eat all kinds of fish especially if they have the "malansa" smell. But this fish was also good. I just didn't eat that much of that. :))))

going back to the Spinach soup and Spare ribs, love that the soup was served with little shrimps. And it has plenty. And the spare ribs were served with siling sigang. Haha. But it was not spicy at all.

What I dislike in this branch is that they take away the used plates even if we have more space and even if were not yet done eating. They do ask if they may take it away but still it pissed me off. Makes me think that, "Do they have shortage of plates etc?" Cause for me, it feels like they're rushing you to eat and go. On the brighter side, they have accommodating staff. 128077

They serve the traditional chinese drink. HOT TEA. Good thing it made me feel better after eating. 110881108811088

Because it's just outside S&R, we always end up here after grocery shopping. Place is always full during Sunday lunch.

In photo:
Seafood Udon - was ok but could be improved. The bell peppers were overpowering. It looks pale.

Chicken Feet - good 128077

Tofu with Lechon Kawali & Amplaya - the lechon kawali isnt a good combination with the ampalaya and tofu. Guess because it was deep fried. Sauteed beef slices and/or fish fillet would've been good.

Service is fast.

Coz we were so hungry and my father was craving for dumplings, so we searched for the nearest Chinese resto near our place and found Luk Foo. Got excited coz all the reviews ive read say that the foods are reasonably priced and that they got friendly servers (isa to sa nicoconsider ko sa isang resto). Syempre, if a resto has friendly and accommodating servers, you'll enjoy more your food.

Unfortunately, the one who took our orders seemed to have no idea of the word "smile". Haha. He never smiled, kahit once. I really got disappointed. Plus, we ordered for Cuapao but failed to take note of it.

Our orders came so fast and the servers are attentive (except that guy who doesnt know how to smile). Sadly i wasnt able to get the name of that one lady server who was so courteous and accommodating.

The serving of the food is generous. The taste is okay. The dumplings are not dry. It was soft and moist.

After craving for tempura, I craved for dumplings naman the next day!! Haha. Whaaat! Anyway, I ordered hakao and sharksfin. The shrimp was undercooked and bland. The wrapper fell apart easily than any other hakao I've eaten. Good thing there's soy sauce and chili to the rescue. The sharksfin was good but the wrapper was a bit hard. What's up with that?! Err.

Good place for Sunday family lunch. They have Chinese chefs so you know you're eating quality Chinese food.

Ordered the ff:
- Assorted Cold Cuts : they didnt have suckling pig so they just replaced it with Lechon Kawali. It had generous portions of Asado, Soy Chicken, Jellyfish, 4 wedges of Century Egg, and Beef Kenchi. It was good.
- Fish Fillet with Beancurd : very good, we liked it!
- Assorted Seafood Bihon - good, although had to add little more soy sauce with calamansi to suit my taste buds.

Parking, not a problem. You can park at S&R's car park.

I have very high standards for dimsum. Theirs was kinda dry but ok for the price. They are cheaper than other chinese restaurants in the area. The serving of the cold cuts was huge and reasonable for P300+

Chinese restaurants like Luk Foo have such extensive menus that it's very likely to find a dish that will surprise you even through you've been frequenting said restaurant for quite some time now.

I ordered a plate of fried tofu with polunchay and sautéed mushrooms. What makes this dish so unique is that the polunchay is embedded onto the top layer of the tofu blocks. I absolutely enjoyed this dish. The tofu are fried and yet served in a healthy manner with veggies and mushrooms. A good compromise.

Also had the asado rice to round out our meal. It was ok, I would have preferred a bowl if plain rice instead.
