The hotpot is perfect for the cold weather. My family ordered the plain and spicy flavor.

We have been going to this restaurant (this branch only) since I was in grade school. Whether celebrating an occasion, or just eating out with the family on a weekend, this restaurant has always been on the top of our minds.

It was the 1st of November, and we were supposed to have food delivered at home thinking that almost all establishments are closed. However, my brother was hesitant to have fast food for lunch and was craving for Luk Foo. My sister then called the restaurant and discovered that they were open! Hooray! So off we went. Travel time to the restaurant from our home was less than 30 minutes.

Upon arrival, we sat on the couch and was greeted by the managers who know our family as the regulars. They gave us the menu and waited for our orders. We had the salt and pepper spare ribs, salt and pepper squid, yangchow fried rice and the crispy prawn with salty egg yolk.

10084️Salt and Pepper Spare Ribs P320
The all-time favorite! No table is complete without an order of their juicy spare ribs with lots of fried garlic. Have it with their special vinegar and you won't be sorry.

Salt and Pepper Squid P310
This is kind of the same with their salt and pepper spare ribs, but a flat squid version. This is also good, but I like their spare ribs better.

10084️Yangchow Fried Rice P260
Their yangchow rice is flavorful and soft, unlike other yangchows wherein the rice tastes old and reheated.

Crispy Prawn with Salty Egg Yolk P395
This is my first time to try this dish and I found it okay. It's fried prawns with salty egg yolk, with the sweet and sour sauce on the side. My brother loved eating it with the sauce, but not me. I was able to appreciate it more without the sauce, and although I was able to taste the egg yolk, I think it wasn't able to fuse with the prawns entirely.

Bottomless Iced Tea
Their iced tea is also good. It's colored pink and it's not too sweet. It's not your typical P10 iced tea in a sachet.

Service is great and fast. Your food will be out in around 10 minutes. I also find the prices affordable.

Our other favorites include the cold cuts, peking duck (3 ways), and the spinach seafood soup.

Again, to reiterate, we only patronize this branch. We tried another branch back then and it's just not the same for us.

The traffic going to the airport specially Terminal 1 is terrible! This was last December When we needed to fetch our relatives from the airport...and yes, sadly we didn't make it to their arrival time. We travelled three hours to get there, and since we were already trapped in a heavy and horrible traffic, we still went to the airport area and decided to pass na lang din duon to go home like nothing happens....namasyal sa traffic at umikot ng airport na walang nasundo at nagsayang ng Gas! Lol! 128513 Buti na lang my other sister in a van went earlier ahead of us.

When we get there, we noticed this Lukfoo branch and so we decided to eat first before going back home at baka limang oras kami bago makauwi. Oh, btw, it took us another 2-3 hours to get home. How cool is that?!?! 128513

Anyway, buti na lang the food here is satisfying (10084️) enough that it helped us forget about the bad traffic we have endured. The food is so yummy to notice that Jomari Yllana and Anjo is seated right in front of us. 9786

Haven't eaten in Luk foo in years and after a quick trip to duty free, we decided to have dinner there. There are two restos now, the Luk foo kitchen and Luk foo hotpot.
We were seated immediately and their menu was quite extensive. We chose some familiar dishes like the salt and pepper spareribs (in picture), fish fillet with butter and cheese and an order of yang chow. We also got an order of dimsum each.
Servers were polite and attentive albeit the one who took our order was matipid sa ngiti 128513
Orders came out quickly (and in the proper order) 128077🏼 all fresh and piping hot!
Everything was delicious! It was my mom's first time and she loved it! After our yummy meal we all got a serving of dessert each, black gulaman for my mom and mango sago for us 128523
Total bill was 1200 with one senior citizen, not bad at all!
Less one star cos the outside/parking area had a lot of street kids/beggars. Mejo nakaka turn off Lang 128517
