Often overshadowed by its political turmoils, the landlocked province of Abra have decent tourist spots that are actually worth the visit.

I was invited into a backpacking event in Abra and got to see various tourism potentials of the province. One we have visited is Lusuac Spring in the town of Lagayan, about an hour away from the capital (Bangued). The spring is a famous picnic spot for the locals.

The cold water sprouts from underground. The area has already been landscaped into the rural standards of a resort, and is open to the public for an entrance fee of P50.

That's not me in the photo! 128517
