LZM is one of those places that never disappoints (in our experience) so when we had balikbayans over last week, we treated them there for some delicious Filipino food!
We went early as sometimes the line outside is quite long! Luckily we were able to be seated right away. At LZM the ultimate thing to order is their bangus! Look at the size of that thing! So juicy and cooked just right too 128077🏼 another thing to definitely order is their chicharong bulaklak! Super generous order with huge chunks of the chicharon! Grabe ulam na!
We also got their adobong kangkong, half platter of plain rice and half platter of garlic rice. Oh and ensaladang mangga too.
But then we saw the sizzling bulalo for the other table and we were like 'what is that??' So we got it too and it was sooo good! Errmergherd! Tender meat, tasty sauce (almost like gravy) and another bowl of sauce and veggies on the side. Our guests super loved the food!
Total bill was around php1400 with drinks 128522

This is our go to restaurant whenever we are in Solenad (well before the new mall was built) Last December, we came over for dinner. First time to see that they now occupy two slots. There was a wait list and we convinced MIL and Lola to ride it out. A line during peak hours is a good sign that the food is worth your wait. We saw that there were some tables that were more than halfway done anyway.

On the table
🔹Boneless Bangus - giant and tasty. we always order this no matter who we are with or how many we are in the party
🔹Tinola - cold weather means soup is in order. Surprised though that their version had cabbage.
🔹Tortang Talong - really good although a bit salty. nothing the catsup couldn't cover up.

We keep coming back because they serve great tasting food and servings are generous.

Our Australian officemate will be flying back to her home country within the week, so for her last weekend here, we wanted to treat her to a Filipino feast (after trekking Taal volcano). Team 100% agreed to bring her to LZM given their wide assortment of Filipino food. And their list of best sellers is practically a list of the Filipino dishes a foreigner should try.

We ordered a lot since we wanted Miss Australia to try as many dishes as she could. So we ordered Kare-kare, Sisig, Boneless Bangus, Pinakbet, Bulalo, Crispy Pata and of course, Rice.

Their servings are huge so if you’re just a small group, I suggest you get their Boneless Bangus which is so good. I haven’t tasted anything like it in any other restaurant (and I’ve been to a lot). It’s good for 2-3 people, and is for 380 Php. Even if they price it higher, will still get it (but I hope they don’t haha why am I writing this). My main point is that you guys have to try it, I doubted my friend when she recommended this to me before because Bangus just seems too normal, but this is extraordinary. I cannot stress this enough. I don’t even have to talk about the Crispy Pata, just focus on the Bangus. Haha Just look at my pic, I wasn’t even able to get a decent photo in!

Now with all that being said, it truly PAINS me to give this restaurant a 4/5! Food was exceptional, everyone enjoyed it but I just couldn’t give the full points because of the other components of this review. First, we had to wait for approximately 20 minutes before getting seated (and I think given the popularity of this place, this might be a common theme for a lot of peak hour visitors). They don’t accept reservations so I guess calling beforehand won’t solve the problem (although it can get you in queue already; we called 40 minutes before we arrived, I can just imagine if we didn’t call ahead of time). Also, just found the place a bit too cramped, which might not be too good for people who are so full from eating lots of great dishes.

Anyway, I still highly recommend this restaurant given the quality of their dishes. Grading food alone will give this place a 5/5. My Aussie boss would definitely agree. Take care everyone! :)

Chicharon bulaklak heaven! Planned to have early dinner here on our way back from tagaytay.
We got the super famous chicharon bulaklak, bangus and sisig.
The chicharon bulaklak is TDF!!! Not greasy or oily and super crunchy! So far from all the ones I've tried before. The bangus was huge! I swear it was bigger than the plate! The sisig was crispy and spicy too. Oh we'll be coming back here for sure!!

Same menu, same price, same flavor as the one in Tagaytay.

Our usual order would be bulalo, crisy boneless bangus, chicharon bulaklak and platters of plain rice.

If you want to skip the long and narrow road to Tagaytay to eat bulalo, head on to this branch in Solenad. Place is a bit smaller than their Tagaytay branch though. I could just imagine the long lines during weekend and holidays.

Then after packing on the pounds, you can easily burn then by going around the one too many outlet stores nearby. Hitting two birds with one stone! 128521

It's my first time to try this place and oh, i really loved it! 128077128525 portions are huge even for 3 hungry munchsters, really delicious without hints of msg or any artificial flavoring and worth the tag! 128515

We had bulalo, bangus, crispy intestines and garlic fried rice. All yummy!

Thanks to Rochelle C for recommending this place! 128521

Ordered their chicaron bulaklak, sizzling tangigue, ampalaya con carne and, inihaw na liempo. The inihaw was burnt and the chicharon was a bit hard in the middle. Everything costs at an average of 220php. They always serve free bulalo soup which is really hot and tasty. 128523 we went there around 10am and surprisingly they were open!

The bulalo was HUGE and meaty. There was no need to add patis to the broth not because it was salty but it had the right mix of flavors already and it was not swimming in fat. Their daing na bangus is a knock out.

You get your money's worth in this hole in the wall restaurant that has its roots in Silang in Cavite. They also have a branch in Tagaytay.

The Bangus. The Bulalo. Da BOMB!

Being from the south certainly has its perks. And being relatively close to all the good food that the south has to offer is on top of that perks list.

There's something about kicking off Christmas week with a visit to LZM. Before the rich and savory dishes of the Season roll in, LZM's Bangus and Bulalo are a welcome treat to the palate.

Unassuming yet uncompromosing, the flavors are simply clean and fresh. Pretty straightforward, LZM's giant daing na bangus is legendary for being golden crispy on the outside and the flaky goodness of the flesh. One bite and you'll definitely know what Filipino flavor is- a marriage of the garlicky and the vinegary! We had it coupled with the ensaladang manggang hilaw today and the harmony of the sweet-tangy mangoes and one of the best tasting bagoongs I've ever tasted was pure heaven.

Then, the bulalo! Generous with all the good that can ever come from it: the lean beef, the litid and oh! the marrow! The broth is so smooth and flavorful and the veggies clean and crisp and fresh!

Pre-Christmas LZM may now be a new-found family tradition!

I personally think that bangus is best served when its boneless and fried to crispy perfection. This is where LZM comes in -- they serve the best crispy boneless bangus out there and it doesnt hurt that its huge too!!! So yeah, one random night our craving for it got the best of us and drove all the way to Nuvali to eat. Let me tell you, it was worth it. 128077

Looking for Filipino food or the so called "Lutong Bahay" this is the place. We order boneless bangus (that was AWSOME!); bulalo (not so good for me - maybe additional salt and pepper would do); kinilaw (it was delish..hihi); pancit mix (2 kinds of noodles-it was ok); and 2 more dish of vegetables (not so fun of veggies..hehe128513). Filipino food is still the best! 128540

I wanted to give this place 5 stars but i couldn't, i love their branch at tagaytay but this one at solenad was a let down.128078

We went here for merienda. We ordered their pancit canton and fried chicken.

We waited for i think 20 mins. for our food which was weird since there was only one other group in the resto with us.

The pancit was salty and the fried chicken tasted so-so, it was kind of like the fried chicken we make at home.

Super disappointing talaga.

I rather go to the one at tagaytay than the one at solenad.

*I was with my lolo when we went here, cute niya eh, he said "wag tayo makibaboy, chicken na lang"128581128055 128020

Sabi ko nga dati "nagtrabaho magulang ko hindi lang para sa kinabukasan namin ng kapatid ko kundi para na din sa kinabukasan ng bansa."

Customer service at its excellence! The manager personally assisted us from the time we came in and the time we left. When he saw my baby, he immediately asked for what type of high chair the baby would like to sit on. He had to show all high chairs they have!
The food is great. We only bulalo, liempo, and tortang talong since we're only 3 adults eating. Bulalo is very tasty. My 1yr old girl loved the beef and the soup. Liempo was cooked like chicharon.
We will definitely go back at LZM :)
