The place was full. Service was bad. We were trying to get the servers' attention but it took maybe 10 minutes before they finally took our orders. Our table wasn't even cleaned yet when we sat down.

Despite that, once ordered, the food comes quick. We had their original mami which had pork asado meat and chicken meat. The noodles was a bit different from the one in the Benavidez branch. However, I'm not sure if the owners are the same. For a large bowl, it's PHP120. Small one is PHP110. But the large bowl and small bowl's contents have only a small difference.

The place is not one of the cleanest so probably eat at your own risk.

Some things just never change:
1/ Ma mun lok's original noodles recipe is still as good!
2/ Piles of plates are still left on tables until customers request these to be taken care of.

Despite the bad service and upkeep of this branch, many people still flock over for its food. I hope they improve soon. Please! 128591🏻

We went to NLRC for some errands and my boss kept telling me that this place serves good food.

I ordered their mami and special siopao. I can tell that their mami tastes Authentic. As in VERY AUTHENTIC and I loved it! 128525
Their Special siopao is made of asado, salted egg and chicken. I never thought it would taste that good considering that it has "Tri" filling.

They serve affordable food! 128076🏻 This is a must place if you wish to eat something filling yet tipid. 128077🏻 next time I'll try their siomai 10084

127836 ORIGINAL MAMI - SPECIAL [Regular P110 • Large P120] 11088110881108811088
Noodles with slices of Asado and Chicken. Ma mun lok's original mami has been a childhood favorite and it still is. It's quite affordable too!

I like how everything is served piping hot and fast. However, I really need to comment how bad the hygiene of this place is. Bowls and utensils of previous customers are not cleaned immediately. In fact, these are stacked up and left on the tables for at least 10 minutes. The place is quite big so it's quite hard to manage. Further, you'll notice right away that they are severely understaffed. In my opinion, they need to add at least two more staff - one server and one dishwasher. I think there was only one dishwasher during our visit. It makes me question if everything was cleaned properly. 128560

Seeing the other reviews with photos... Im a bit disappointed with my order. My original mami looked sad and pale, and a little bland 🙁. Or maybe I was expecting really high. I like the siopao though. 9996🏻️128523

After our dentist appointment, hubby suggested to check out the Banawe restos. At first, we were headed to Tien Ma but I suddenly searched Ma Mon Luk so we tried it (at least I did coz it was my first time) The siopao was big and the bun is sweet so I like it. Chicken mami was good too. Next time need to try their beef noodles. Didn't bother to order the sio mai based on the review.

I'm back! 128522 After making the big switch from IOS to android, I always thought looloo was only available in the former. Anyways, while looking around the playstore, I was pleasantly surprised to see the familiar red, white and blue icon there. So here I am again.

Ma mon luk was a happy place for us during our childhood so it's nice to see they still havent modernized the look of the place. (adds to the nostalgia).

The siopao and mami are still the dynamic duo here so its no surprise thats what I ordered. And yup - still tastes the same. Comfort food as its best. Service is typical. I don't miss the waiter's thumb in my soup though. 128513

Nothing can indeed compare with the delectable choices offered by this unassuming Chinoy eatery. Don't let the looks fool you. Despite the humid ambience and bustling Quezon Avenue traffic echoing from its windows, it's undeniable that their Special Siopao and/or Special Mami are worth the visit.

My father had been going to Ma Mon Luk during his college days. When growing up in the U.S., he would often tell me the same story on how he would visit this place weekly for their famous chicken mami (noodle soup). Once he had a chance to return to the Philippines after 30 years, the first restaurant he wanted to visit was Ma Mon Luk.

I was glad that he brought me with him. I can see the elation in his eyes once he walked inside. As he sat down, he already knew what to order. I wasn't surprised. I, too would know what to order in restaurants I would often visit. He said that after 30 years, the taste hadn't changed.

We both ordered a large bowl of their "special" mami, pancit canton, as well as asado siopao for him and a bola-bola siopao for myself. All I can say is that my father's stories lived up to my expectations.

The soup itself was delicious. It was light with just the right amount of saltiness. The home made noodles made it extra special. It wasn't too soft, nor was it too chewy.

I can't really describe how good the pancit canton was. In short, the vegetables were perfectly cooked, and again, the noodles were perfect.

On the other hand, the reason why I only gave Ma Mon Luk a four star rating is because the bola-bola in the siopao was too dry for my liking. I wasn't able to taste the goodness that I know it has. Then again, like my other reviews, this is only my opinion. You don't have to take my word for it. 128513

I know "foodies" love to try new food that is out of the norm, but I must say, if you haven't tried Ma Mon Luk, this will be as if it were.

The food is so good 128077🏼 must try is their Siopao, Beef Mami Noodles, Ma Mon Luk Chicken and Ma Mon Luk Rice! I'm not encouraging you to buy their Siomai, it's dry and not delicious at all. Their service is good! The waiter who served us is working in Ma Mon Luk since 1975!! So when he gave us our order his hands are shaking already! 128514128516
