Mabuhay Palace is a Chinese restaurant. We ordered Honey Glazed Chicken, Fried Hot Pork Ribs, Pork Siomai, Salted Fried Rice, and Fried Dumplings. While waiting for your order, they will serve chips and tea. Their food were delicious and the prices are definitely worth it.

i went for curiosity AND the 50% off your total bill promo when you pay with a BDO credit card. promo runs until sept 15.

the setting and ambiance is topnotch. imperial themed with soft lights out of a period movie. the walls display mural engravings of scholars and kings. the waitstaff is attentive and accomodating. the service would have been excellent if not for the time you wait to be served your food. a bit long, around half an hour for the soup to arrive. the presentation is classy and servings are not too small. our family enjoyed the seafood fried rice in lotus leaves immensely. this baby is delicious. you can eat this on its own, that is, if you can resist the call of the crispy shrimp glazed with almonds. another fantastic entrée. really liked the shanghai noodles too. present also are some veterans of the chinese table - beef tenderloin, superior stock, braised claypot, garlic stir-fried veggies and stuffed scallops. arriving last is the reason for why we wanted to try mabuhay palace, for its seasonal ice cream creation - sesame and salted duck egg ice cream. an attention grabber, isn't it? it was okay. i wasn't blown away but applause for effort. and i certainly left the restaurant feeling good.

note: if you have senior citizens with you, go ahead and present the cards for even more savings.

Family day with my bf 128523 ordered so many food, Peking duck in 3 ways, wintermelon soup, sea bass in soy sauce, cereals prawns, etc. the only food that I enjoyed is the free starter honey coated chips. Food tastes really normal. 128521

Mabuhay Palace. Dine in here again since can't get over the Crispy-fried Shrimp glazed in Almonds and Beef with Honey Pepper Sauce!

Was a bit disappointed though since the presentation and the taste of both was not the same as before. The shrimp was not crunchy enough. Some beefs were tough!

Tried the Cold Cuts Platter. Get the asado first! It was easy to chee and.... delicious.

I guess I expected too much from them since my first experience was exceptional!

P.S. Go look for Bern when you dine. The service we experienced was impeccable! +1 star for that! 11088Yeah, I'm a sucker to good service!

We've been eating quite sometime at Mabuhay Palace since my parents like Chinese foods and the ambience is very tranquil! Don't get me wrong: we love Chinese cuisines because we are Chinese! 128540

I recommend trying the Beef with Black Pepper Sauce. It is tender, VERY tender that needs minimal chewing! Kick-ass taste! This is best paired with the Seafood fried rice in lotus leaves (before, we usually order yang chow fried rice but we thought this is better)

If you love seafood and avoiding meat, highly recommend Deep fried (yeah, unhealthy Haha) prawn in mayonnaise with sliced almonds! What's good is that it doesn't contain too much mayonnaise and you can taste the freshness of the prawn.

Forgot to order Malunggay Ice Cream and Salted Caramel Ice Cream! People were saying it is a must try. 128515
