Eversince this tea place opened in Manila, I have been itching to try it out but never had the chance to do so because it’s in the far end of Quezon City. Back when it just started, I was still living in Cebu and every time I am in the city, I already have aligned my itinerary so my planned visit was further delayed. Thankfully? The opportunity presented itself with Team K was invited to events in the same area. So instead of going to the first stop immediately, EJ B, Midz S and I decided to make this our meeting point.

I actually know this place really well as I studied pretty much my whole life in STC which is located in D. Tuazon. Back then, I hanged out a lot in Banawe area with friends, so I was glad that more and more awesome places are popping up in the vicinity.

Macao Imperial is easily accessible along Banawe and not hard to locate. They have ample parking spaces so it’s really convenient for their guests.

When we visited the place, we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. By the time I got there, EJ B has finished his photos. 128568 (You can check out his review for that.)

I ordered the “Over the Rainbow Soda” at PHP 165. It’s kinda pricey, but at least I get to take home the cute reusable tumbler. I absolutely loved this beverage. It was as tasty as it was attractive. The colors were very nice and I don’t know how to explain it but the look of it already gives you an idea how it tastes like. And what you expect is the flavor your get. For me it had something like a sort of gummy candy taste with a tinge of Yakult and a bit if citrus. The sweetness was just right, and I loved that they served this really cold as it was supposed to be. My drink pretty much lasted me throughout the day, even until evening when I had to pickup my dad in the airport already.

I absolutely loved my visit here and I look forward to coming back really soon! 12857110084

Our 1st stop in Team Kaladkarin’s Banawe Crawl last weekend was the Macao Imperial Tea Philippines. The tea house was huge and has a nice interior.

I got a Salted Caramel Tea for Php195.00. It comes with the cute animal glass. Don’t know if it’s a dog or bear. LOL! 128514 But seriously, it’s cute. And the drink tastes refreshingly good.

I had a Chocolate Doughnut for Php55.00 and Chocolate Chip Cookie for Php65.00 to pair with our drinks.

Overall, I find the place worth coming back. And they have a new branch in Fisher Mall which is nearer to my place.

It hasn't even been a week after my first visit that I decided to go back to Macao Imperial Tea, this time with my college friends, to try out more of their offerings. The place looks even nicer at night, and still holds the same chill millennial hang-out place vibe. 128522

I was supposed to try their matcha drink, but since I just had a matcha opera cake as one of my desserts in the event I attended that day, I opted to get something else.

✅ CREAM CHEESE COCOA (Php 120) - 11088110881108811088
The slight saltiness of the cream cheese complemented well with the sweet cocoa drink. The cream cheese froth was not too fine, and bits of cheese can still be felt upon each sip. It's nothing too untolerable though, and it actually added a layer of texture to the drink. 128513 The cocoa drink was just okay, but me and my friends thought its taste resembled that of Sustagen's (hello, childhood memories!). Haha. I still liked the drink though. 128516 It's a nice drink to sip slowly. 128076

Overall, I had another great experience here in Macao Imperial Tea - drink, service, and ambiance-wise. There are so many options to choose from, and will definitely come back again to try new drinks. 🤗128156

After lunch, my mom and I wanted to go to Z Square Mall to buy some bread for breakfast the next day, but since I am super bad at directions, we're not sure which way to go. Good thing there's my trusty Google maps app! 128514

We walked all the way to Z Square, but before we arrived, we walked past Macao Imperial Tea, and it was an opportunity too good to miss -- and so we went in to have a quick drink. 128522

I have read much about Macao Imperial Tea, and was quite curious about it for some time. Seems like they have been aggresively expanding in the past months, with their newest branch opening up just 2 days ago (Jan 12, 2018) in Lucky Chinatown Mall.

As we entered, I noticed how instagrammable the place was, and would surely be a hit for millennials. 128513 My mom asked me to buy her any drink I think she'd like. After much thinking, I finally decided on these two:

✅ FOR ME: STRAWBERY MILK TEA (Php 195) - 11088110881108811088
This is one of the two drinks which they offer in a reusable glass bear tumbler. The FOR ME drink (which I got) is Strawberry Milk Tea, while the FOR YOU drink is Caramel Macchiato. If you want to get the tumblers, you can't choose other drinks. Taste-wise, the Strawberry Milk Tea is okay, but is too sweet for my liking. Hope there is an option to adjust the sweetness level of each drink. I loved the strawberry preserves in the drink though!!! Was supposed to give it 311088, but I added 111088 because if the cute and good quality tumbler. 128513 I read somewhere that you may bring the tumbler on your next visit so you can avail 10% off your drink! 128525 Not sure to which drinks this is applicable, though.

✅ FOR MAMA: ORIGINAL MILK TEA (Php 90) - 11088110881108811088
I was supposed to get her the Red Bean and Pudding Milk Tea, but they were out of stock with the pudding. Instead, I got her this and asked them to add-on the Red Beans (+ Php 15). My mom loved it! 128525 She said the milk tea is not too sweet, and the red beans were cooked properly. Though, she would've liked it even more if the serving size was a bit bigger. Maybe they can include size options in the future? 128522

Service was good, but since there were quite a handful of customers, the drinks were served after quite some time. Not to fret though, as foodies will surely enjoy going around the cafe, snapping photos of the various instagrammable walls. 128521

I'm sure this won't be the last time I visit this milk tea place! 128525

While a lot of milk tea shops have sprouted and disappeared within the last couple of years, Macao Imperial Tea is here to prove itself as a strong player in the milk tea market.

True enough, their wide array of choices and unique cup designs are sure to entice customers to try their products. I had the Jasmine Green Tea with Cream Cheese and Salt, and I loved it! My friends loved it too! While I am used to the cream cheese froth being smooth, Macao’s version has some bits to it that gives an interesting texture to the drink.

A milk tea place were i always ended up with 2 cups. Matcha was good but with order of less ice i still ended up having half cupful of ice.

Matcha redbean was not as good as their cream cheese since i find their red bean too sweet.

127926127925 My milkTEA brings all the boys to the yard. And they're like it's better than yours. 127926127925 #loolooweeklychallenge

(F)ood:
Their elaborate menu features different drinks such as teas that can be topped by cream cheese or chestnut cream and other add ons, coffee and an interesting soda comes in plastic containers that you can bring home to re-use and different yummy cakes and pastries. But what is most interesting are their ‘For You’ and ‘For Me’ drinks which come in cute bear ear bottles that you can share with your SO. You can choose from a Caramel Macchiato drink and a Strawberry Milk tea drink. I love their drinks and this is enough reason to come back.

(A)mbience:
As we entered Macao Imperial Tea, we were greeted by a humungous hug-inviting, cute and cuddly teddy bear sitting alone maybe waiting for a companion to share his Macao Imperial drink with. (yes, even bears drink to! )
The place has lots of comfy seats for you to have a nice little chat and cozy up with your special someone, or be a loner and do your thesis or office work as they have enough power sockets and wi-fi for you to do your thing, or just simply chill out with your friends and hangout.

(B)utler Service:
The servers were friendly and are attentive to our needs.

For all tea lovers, you may want to try Macao Imperial at Banawe. The place was small, when we went there we had to wait other costumer to finished before we can sit. We ordered “for me and for you” drinks but sadly i didn’t enjoyed. Theres nothing special about the taste, it taste like 3 in 1 coffee, nothing special. For the other one it taste like strawberry milk juice. One thing i liked is they used reusable glass tumbler which you can take home. We tried also their soda. We ordered the best seller “cherry blossom” flavor. And again, the taste was ok.

Just when I thought I had the best of Milk Teas here in the Phils, wait because the Fad hasn't stopped yet. For this year the recent opening made their way to the Tea business back to life. Seeing the Review here on Looloo with the Milk Tea and Coffee in a super cute bottle made me really want to try this Ahsap!!! 128514

So I was too excited that when I had a chance, I made it happen by bringing my niece here and buy us both and a sister (not with us) for a drink.
There's no doubt that I would want nothing else but to try their Iced Coffee in a FOR ME Bottle! But I like the white bottle more than the black one so my order became FOR YOU, good thing the coffee content is just the same with the other one.

It was a little over noontime when we get there, The sun is scorching hot and so we caught no qeue inside...great! 128522
It was a fun, easy and smooth transaction. The drinks are indeed refreshing and totally beat the warm weather outside.

The niece and I talked about trying the famous Over the Rainbow soda, but we had our own liked orders already. So we ordered one for my sister and brought it home. The good quality didn't last long.I asked pa naman the Barista if it'll affect the nice separation of colors, hindi daw...We regret not trying it while it's freshly made. So we had no idea how good it was. 128533 When we get home, mixed na sya and the taste was unexplainable haha!

Niece btw had the Milk Tea cream cheese , tried it myself with a sip and reminds me of Happy Lemon's Cheese on top!128077

Kitty paper cup looks really catchy. There are different plastic cups/tumbler display in front to choose from, some of those are FOR YOU AND FORME Iced Caramel Machiatto bottles. still can't get over it till now! 128539

I noticed a nice wall background that features the countries they're in. On one side of the area though, a lonely Big teddy in the corner sits and waiting for someone to hold him!128522 cute..

The place is indeed very Instagrammable. Cake displays look really interesting. I hope to taste it next time.
Beverages price ranges from
Php120-195. Not bad. 128077

A new place to try but the drink is really a good reason to come back to and chill with friends! Id love to come back again.

2nd to the last picture shows my Iced Coffee when mixed! 128525

This has been my favorite hangout milk tea place recently especially very late at night. Yeah they less customer on a weekend 2 hours before closing time. So that means better chances of landing a parking slot.

Ordered my favorite matcha salt cream cheese and the cream was really good since there was a bunch of bits of cheese in it. But the matcha was kinda bland, felt that it has too much ice which kinda dilute its taste.

After which i had the urge to order another one so i went for cream salt cheese oolong, my order was serve with something that looks like cream cheese had already blended into my drink, i mean oolong at the bottom must be clear rather than somewhat look like milk tea. And the cream cheese itself is very sweet. The server told us that the cream cheese used was at the very bottom hence its very sweet, told me since its near closing time they dont have anymore stock 128550 but this was quickly dismissed by one of thwir personnel which quickly told me they could change it right away and magicallly they were able to provide another batch of cream cheese. 128529

I also learn that what i like about their cream cheese which was bits and bits of cheese was actually substandard since the REAL cream cheese needs to be pure cream and no bits. 128517

Despite the fact that -ber months are almost here once again, it seems as if the climate hasn’t changed since summer. One can’t help but get dehydrated in this sweltering heat. The upside to this weather though is having to drink something cold, sweet, and to quench your thirst. I guess drinking milk teas is one way to beat the heat?

Together with other foodie bloggers, I was invited to visit Macao Imperial Milk Tea in Banawe, Quezon City, to review their products, two days ahead of their launch. Thanks to the Fredley Group of Companies, who have brought us Shabu-Shabu Ichiban, Mitasu Charcoal Yakiniku, Sandaya-Yakiniku Fisher Mall, Ersao Wind Tagaytay, and now Macao Imperial Milktea, we got to have a first-hand experience.

This cafe was born in Macao and is one of the fastest growing cafe chains in Asia and in America. They already have about 200 branches in different countries, including Macau, Vietnam, China, United States, Canada, and the Philippines. As for the folks behind the brand, their aim is to bring a memorable and special experience with each and every cup. I got that while I was sipping a series of their different beverages.

This spot is still currently getting a buzz from customers after months of being open. This contributed primarily to their wide selection of creative concoctions on gorgeous looking bottles. You can even bring it home. On top of these, they also serve best selling cakes and pastries from popular Purple Oven. These are supplied newly baked, an absolute delight to my sweet tooth.

How can one not be enticed with their milk teas and other special drinks when they’re coined like the following – Kitten Milk Tea, Osmanthus Oolong Tea, Ejiao Red Dates Fresh Milk, and For You and For Me? They’re uniquely named and packaged, that is why a lot of people whose curiosities were piqued, visit this place.

Out of all the drinks that I got to try from them, it was their iced coffee also known as For Me, that won my heart at first sip. The bold bitter flavor of the coffee was on point, complementing the light sweetness of the vanilla syrup. I also loved the Cream Cheese series which can be served hot or cold. Another must try would be their Soda series, especially the Green Apple Soda flavor.

As for their price points, they are at par with other brands. The most affordable one is priced Php 90, while the most is at Php 195.

If you are from Quezon City, this should be a go to place for you. If you are far from Banawe, they are popping up in other stores soon. Looking forward to hearing about your own personal experience here real soon!

Holiday afternoon here and it was packed. Even strong sunlight doesnt shoo away anyone from sitting at the window side including us.

Matcha Cream Cheese was a hidden gem here as it was really good and the cheese bits made it even better

Strawberry yogurt was a disappointment though, wasnt the same as it was before even the whole strawberry was missing, complain about it and they remedied it by putting more strawberry jam into the drink and milk powder. 128517 but in the end they replaced it with the coffee one instead. So all is good.

Just when everyone was thinking of the milktea hype lying low Macao Imperial Tea breathe a fresh new air to it. With its cute eye catching plastic container it was an instant hit in social media. On my visit it was just a week since it open so there was still long queue and difficulty in parking. Luckily even though it was a long queue the service was very fast.

On my 2 visit I go to try their Green Apple Soda and Kitten Milk Tea. 1st the Green Apple Soda. It was a refreshing minty drink and doesn't felt to be too soda carbonated. Not too sweet and really good. Love the fresh mint leaves included. For the kitten milk tea, I love the cute paper cup that comes with it. Taste wise nothing special but it was good. This is a drink that is perfect with the rainy weather.

I've been wanting to try Macao Imperial Tea for the longest time since I saw photos from reviews! Some of their drinks come in special tumblers which to my surprise is made of glass and not plastic! I had the Caramel Macchiato in the cute white bear For You tumbler. The coffee was actually pretty good! Just make sure to shake it well before drinking so the caramel is well blended!

The place is quite spacious and as an added bonus, it has ample parking space! Could be a great place to hang with friends to catch up or maybe spend some time studying or working!

Ive heard of the craze about this new milk tea place along banawe st and it seems that long time banawe milk tea place serenitea now has a solid competitor as it was always full whenever i passes by.

First time to try it out here, it was 15 mins to midnight that even their guard was surprised. It seems they are.preparing to close but they still gladly addressed our orders. We order the following:

1. Over the rainbow soda- im not a fan of soda but this just looks so good to miss on my first visit. Top layer was shaked ice with sour berry taste, 2nd layer taste like yogourt while the bottom layer was soda which form the sweet part. Better sip one layer at a time if your as weird as i am before shaking it all up as suggested by the server. I had a hard time shaking it all up coz it was just too beautiful to drink. 128522 but honestly this is a one time drink for me im not a fan of soda but this was just too instagrammable. 128522 P165

2. Ice Caramel Machiatto - this was the bomb, high quality coffee right here. Perfect for coffee lovers. P195

3. Strawberry Milk - it taste kinda sour with the sweet part being the whole strawberry at the bottom. It was really good as well coz it reminds me of yogourt fruit milk at shanghai. P195

I was surprised that drinks here taste equally good as it looks. Place is cozy since there are just a couple of people left at midnight,im not sure at its peak. Service was good as well. Im surely gonna be back and im serious about the quality of the drinks here as far as the ones weve ordered. 128522

Hype hype hype! Lol

1st stop on our Banawe Foodtrip was Macao Imperial Milk Tea. My friends got really curious since everyone was really talking about this place maybe because of the very cute glass bottles with ears lol

We had 2 Caramel Macchiatos and 1 Over The Rainbow. They had specific drinks which you could order in order to get the bottles for free. The macchiato was good but damn Over The Rainbow was better!! I'm not sure what they put im it but it kinda tasted like Starburst. Not overly swert and very refreshing.

I highly suggest to visit the place early on weekends since it gets packed easily and the bottles are sold out quickly. Not sure on weekdays tho. 9786️ they have food also and other drinks! The also have a huuuuggeee teddy bear which you can include im taking photos hahahaha

Just when you thought that the milk tea craze has died down, here comes Macao Imperial Tea, an international cafe chain that just recently opened its first branch here in Manila.

What differentiates Macao from other cafes and tea places are their unique drink choices. From rainbow sodas, coffee and tea drinks in cute tumblers, you just can't help but be smitten.

My friend and I tried their "For me" and "For you" drink. I just don't remember which is which but one is a caramel macchiato and the other is strawberry milk tea. The caramel macchiato is good and has the right kick of caffeine to it, while the strawberry milk tea is light and refreshing. I am looking forward to trying the other drink offerings!

The place is cozy and relaxing. They have lots of tables to accommodate the guests. It might get jam packed on busy hours, though. Parking, on the other hand, is a problem. Although they have allotted space for cars, the demand for parking is just too high.

That's it! This place is definitely a must try! 128521

Just when I thought that the milk tea craze in the country is over, a new franchise from Macau came swooping in, getting the curious all riled up, myself included.

It was a rainy afternoon when we arrived Macao Imperial Tea, and we weren't expecting a lot of people to be hanging around the area, but we were wrong. Lucky for us, the parking space for the tea place was huge, so we were able to park our car as soon as we arrived. We entered the shop and the place was packed, with only a few seats empty, and a bit of a long queue at the counter.

We were supposed to try the cutest item in their menu, which had the drinks contained in a bottle capped with bear ears. Too bad they ran out of bottles so we weren't able to try them :( but anyways, the FOR ME and FOR YOU drinks are actually caramel macchiato and strawberry milkshake respectively.

I ordered their cream cheese oreo milk tea and their over the rainbow soda.

|CREAM CHEESE OREO MILK TEA P120
Milk tea topped Cream cheese mousse and crushed oreos. I tried the drink before mixing it, and the taste was like a normal milk tea. After mixing, the cream cheese taste was then infused in the drink. It was good, although I was hoping for a more profound cream cheese taste. Nevertheless, it was good.

|OVER THE RAINBOW SODA P165
One of the most popular drinks served by Macao Imperial Tea is this vibrantly colored soda. Honestly, I'm not much into sodas, so I didn't expect to like this one, but I did! What I was able to appreciate about it most is the lack of strong acidity most commercially available sodas have. The flavor was also good (I was able to get the taste of strawberry although there are more). I also didn't find it too sweet, although I drank it almost an hour after buying it, since I took it home.

I'm coming back for their special drinks (for me and for you) and the cream cheese sea salt jasmine green tea. Something about the combination of those first two ingredients makes me drool.
