Their Half Baked Madagascar is now called Super Baked Madagascar....

Not quite sure how to feel about it. I can’t decide whether it tastes the same or not. I mean... I wasn’t wowed by it as it normally would so maybe it’s not the same in a not so good way???

Have you guys tried this new Super Baked Madagascar?? How was it??

Since it’s already summer, Mad Mark’s ice cream is one of the perfect ways to cool off. My personal favorite here is their Javan Hot Chocolate. 🤤 I’d personally recommend this flavor for chocolate lovers. My other colleagues also recommended the Walnut Cinnamon and Sumatra Arabica 128076🏻

I wanted a slightly light dinner - light on the tummy and light on the pocket (in BGC). I ended up in Mad Mark’s in Central Square and got one of their entrées - Fried Pork Steak at around Php 180-190. I think this is a new dish because it’s my first time seeing it on their menu.

The pork steak comes with a honey sauce. I requested that they serve the sauce separately; I’m not a fan of sweet sauces on viands. True enough, the sauce was too sweet and it doesn’t go well with the pork steak. They could’ve given the customers choices for the sauce. For the meat itself, it was disappointing to see fried pork cutlets on my plate. I thought that by “steak”, it’ll look more like a serving of porkchop because of the thickness. The taste was very typical.

Thank you Mad Marks for making me wait for 45 minutes for my order. I know it’s busy but your staff should always remain professional and not be rude. I heard “for awhile” several times and they never got back to us.

The food was okay. It was not even hot. I like the fat chips, the burger was ok.

This isn’t the first time this happened. This is like the third time already and service here is really upsetting.

I do hope you improve your service and the staff can be less rude.

Another bang for the buck restaurant in the Metro can be found at Central Square Bonifacio High Street, The Mad Mark's Creamery & Good Eats.

If you are craving for some steaks and ribs and you don't want to spend a lot then this is exactly the place you're looking for. They offer really cheap steaks.

The place is quite simple and small. Nothing Special!
You need to manage your expectations though when it comes to their service because some crews are snobs.

We ordered their best sellers right away and some new dishes to try.

Mad Mark's Signature Steak - It's suprisingly good for its price and the serving is generous. The steak is juicy and tender. It served with your choice of 2 sides and sauce. You can get all of this for just 265 pesos only. Wow!

Johnny Double Black Ribs - Again, this is delicious for a 265 peso rib! It's the cheapest rib you can get nowadays. The smokey and flavorful taste is just right. Johnnie Double Black Sauce blends well with the ribs. You can choose your 2 sides as well.

Umami Fish Fillet - Typical cream dory fillet. Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The serving is generous too.

Philly Cheese Steak - Cheesy but the flavor is overwhelming, I didn't like it. Something is not right!

Food didn't disappoint especially the best sellers and the price is for keeps too!
I think they just need to work on their service. Please!
Will definitely come back, I will try their home made Ice creams soon!

One afternoon, my friend and I decided to buy ice cream for dessert. He suggested Mad Marks so we walked going here. 127846127846

He got his favorite which is the HALF BAKED MADAGASCAR while I ordered my favorite - JAVAN HOT CHOCOLATE. I can't remember the last time I had this but was surprised with how "huge" the single scoop was. It's already more than enough for me and for the price (less than 100), super sulit. 💯

My JAVAN HOT CHOCOLATE is still as good and I love how rich, thick, and creamy this was. Not super OA sweet, as well. Yuuum! 128069

I was also able to taste the Milk Chocolate and the Matchawaited? (not sure with the names) and they were just okay... Javan pa rin talaga! 128518128517

First time to try the branch in Bonifacio Global City. It's located at the 3/F of Central Square mall, just on the opposite side of the cinemas.

Of course, I ordered my good ol' favorite Mad Mark's Signature Steak, medium well. It never fails to satisfy and the serving is generous, as always!

MUST TRY STEAK SAUCE:
- Bootstrap
- Ragin' Cajun

Reasonably priced and quality ain't bad too. I've been having a lot of red meat lately and so far, I'm happy! Of the 4 branches here in Manila, I've been to 3, apart from their Kapitolyo branch. Grilled signature steak comes with 2 sides and I would usually go far smashed potato. I also like their bootstrap steak sauce to go with my meat. What's your favorite?

PS- I wonder if Mark is still a flight attendant or where he is based now. Cheers!

Their menu changes a lot. This time, it has become more limited. They removed a lot of choices and some of ones that they kept were not available that day. I think the only item that you will surely find any day is the signature steak. They should change their resto name to steak and ice cream. Those are the only items that are consistently available.

Prices have increased! It's now PHP 105 per single scoop instead of the old PHP 95.

Still very good though. :)

Also this is my second attempt - the first one a few weeks back, they were out of their Half Baked Madagascar. 128530 So it's still a very popular flavor that you'll need to get early!

Good stuff from Mad Mark's. Signature Steak was good and it comes in 2 sizes, Healthy and Feast. You get to choose the sides too. Japan Japan, their grilled chicken in house blend teriyaki was good too. It was a little spicy though and it wasn't noted on the menu.

While I liked the food, the service-not so much. It could be much better since the servers weren't very attentive.

My colleague treated us to ice creams after that heavenly Va Bene lunch.

We all had single scoop, and mine was my favorite Javan Hot Chocolate. Plus there was a forward scoop - essentially a small free scoop. You can choose among three flavors... dang I forgot what mine was called, it had different kinds of nuts and peanut butter. It's rather similar to roasted pecans.

What is good food when your customer service sucks? An integral part of any restaurant is its customer service. It doesn't matter how fabulous your restaurant décor is or how good your food is, if your customer service sucks, then its over.

I ordered this corn and requested them to shred it.
Instead, they gave me a knife. Okay, no worries, so we tried to do it ourselves. But the table is too slippery and unstable. So we requested them to do it for us, since they have the chopping board, gloves and all that inside the kitchen. But they hesitated. I explained my side, but they insisted that they cant but cant find a logical reason why they cant. SOP daw at plating. Ummm okay.

We ended up not eating the corn and still paid for it.
Its not because im maarte or what, pero kaka install lang ng dental crown ko.

Never going back again.
