Good stuff from Mad Mark's. Signature Steak was good and it comes in 2 sizes, Healthy and Feast. You get to choose the sides too. Japan Japan, their grilled chicken in house blend teriyaki was good too. It was a little spicy though and it wasn't noted on the menu.

While I liked the food, the service-not so much. It could be much better since the servers weren't very attentive.

My colleague treated us to ice creams after that heavenly Va Bene lunch.

We all had single scoop, and mine was my favorite Javan Hot Chocolate. Plus there was a forward scoop - essentially a small free scoop. You can choose among three flavors... dang I forgot what mine was called, it had different kinds of nuts and peanut butter. It's rather similar to roasted pecans.

What is good food when your customer service sucks? An integral part of any restaurant is its customer service. It doesn't matter how fabulous your restaurant décor is or how good your food is, if your customer service sucks, then its over.

I ordered this corn and requested them to shred it.
Instead, they gave me a knife. Okay, no worries, so we tried to do it ourselves. But the table is too slippery and unstable. So we requested them to do it for us, since they have the chopping board, gloves and all that inside the kitchen. But they hesitated. I explained my side, but they insisted that they cant but cant find a logical reason why they cant. SOP daw at plating. Ummm okay.

We ended up not eating the corn and still paid for it.
Its not because im maarte or what, pero kaka install lang ng dental crown ko.

Never going back again.

I hate reviewing 1 or 2 stars resto as this was those kinds that i dont have the pleasure wasting my time on but then if theres one side that we rave about the foods that we eat, theres also another one that we vent our frustrations on.

I passed on the food meetup with |ooloo bgc peeps to have a dinner here with my friend whos leaving bgc workplace. Order their US steak on a medium doneness. I dont know if i expects too much at 360 but it was really hard, chewy and i preferred steak that wasnt sliced instead. Well this was okay but the thing that was the mood killer was when i order my apple cheesecake ice cream and discover that there was a rolled plastic inside *see the pic. 128544128544128544 i immediately called the attention of the manager and since i lost my appetite already i settled for a scoop of madagascar vanilla bean, if its tough luck or wasnt my night, there was a white strand string on that very scoop of ice cream. 128544128544128544 i wont post that pic as i think one is enough. That was it. Called for the bill, and had to remove the @#$! Apple cheesecake off the bill since i didnt consume it. Bill took so long to be settled. I think they were undermanned as servers took a while attenting to tables. Not coming back anytime soon.

Finally! I got to try the “good eats”part of Mad Mark’s! I had the Signature Steak, medium doneness with beans and carrots and mashed potatoes on the side.

Thank God, they were able to serve us our food in exactly 20 minutes as they said, because we were going to catch a movie in like 30 mins since we got there lol. Eat and run talaga. I didn’t like my steak as much. It wasn’t seasoned so well, and it wasn’t so tender. The mashed potatoes and vegetables were just okay too.

I don’t really have any thing great to say about the food I had here and I don’t recommend it. So, I guess I’ll just stick to their ice cream.

For dessert, which was also our movie snack, I had two scoops of ice cream. I had the Javan Hot Chocolate, which wasn’t as pleasant as when I had it before. And I also had this peanut butter and banana flavor one, which was yuuuummy!! I wish I’d gotten two scoops of that, instead of the other Javan Hot Chocolate, because I just lost my appetite when I reached the bittersweet chocolate taste already. Huhu

I think Mad Mark’s is one of the best in ice cream; the creaminess and the flavors are just on point!

On my birthday we went to Bonifacio Global City (BGC) with my Ninang (aunt) to celebrate. As stated on their website Bonifacio Global City is a true child of the 21st century - a modern wonder of contemporary living populated by great minds and passionate hearts. From tidy roads and contemporary office blocks to storied high streets and playful parks, the city is the perfect marriage of form and function. I already went to BGC before with my cousin but we only went to The Mind Museum. It is big science museum with 5 main galleries and over 250 interactive exhibits, the Mind Museum is able to nurture young and inquisitive minds in a fun and creative way. Going there on my birthday would be the second time I went to BGC which made me really excited about it since I haven't really explored the place.

For lunch we ate at Mad Mark's Creamery and Good Eats. Food there is affordable and filling. Good food for a great value of money. An order of grilled food automatically gets you 2 side dishes. Mad Mark’s St. Louis Prime Grilled Ribs, a decent portion of slow-cooked pork rib served with their very own original BBQ sauce recipe. Since its summer you might want to try their The Rolling Dutchman which costs P159. It boasts of one generous scoop of Madagascar vanilla bean ice cream sandwiched between two Dutch pancakes and your choice of cookie butter or choco-hazelnut spread. They also sell ice cream in scoops. A scoop costs Php85, a double scoop Php150. Their bestselling ice cream the Half-baked Madagascar is made from half-baked cookie dough and Madagascar vanilla ice cream. Of course we had to try that one and so we did. We were so satisfied with the taste we also ordered their Javan Hot Chocolate and their Strawberry and Cream. Definitely my new favorite place to grab some ice cream! 10084

What's with me with all the fives and desserts. I have been so quiet for a while but I'm back! 128512

My cousins and I visited the Gourmand Market. Was that a week ago? Time flies. It was too hot at the Gourmand Market because it was too busy and desserts are not enjoyable at 33 degree celsius. 128512

My cousins are not always here and I thought that it was the best time to introduce them tomy favorite ice cream flavors from Mad Mark's, Half Baked Madagascar and Javan Hot Chocolate. These two are the perfect pair if you want to get a double scoop. What I love about Mad Mark's Half Baked Madagascar is it's delightful creamy texture with bits of cookie dough. Their Javan Hot Chocolate is a winner of dark chocolate lovers. I love dark chocolate and it wasn't too bold. It's dark chocoate flavor was adjusted to please everyone. If you want to have a tasteful play on bitter-sweet flavors, get a scoop of each of my favorites and I promise it will not disappoint.

My cousins enjoyed it and I was not surprised because I was sure that they will love it.

I haven't really gone adventurous with Mad Mark's because I will never get tired of eating Half Baked Madagascar and Javan Hot Chocolate. I have read in some blogs that the other flavors are as good but we'll see. I might try other flavors soon and I would also like to try the Banana Oreo. 128512

I still love Mad Mark's Half Baked Madagascar but still annoyed I can't order twin or double scoops. 128530 Y u stop me from letting you take my monies???

Limited daw yung flavor. I keep forgetting. 128524

They will allow you though to order two single scoops which means you have to pay 15 pesos extra since it's 95 each vs 175 for the twin scoops. Or is that considered double? What is the difference between twin and double? 128558

We loved everything we ordered!!!! We had cheesy fries with bacon bits on top then for main entree, we ordered steak and ribs. The sides that we got were corn&carrots, smashed potatoes. For dessert, we were given free taste of some of the flavors that we were interested in. We ended up getting the a scoop lavan hot chocolate (dark chocolate) ice cream and then for me the lavan hot chocolate ice cream too plus motherlode (vanilla with loads of nuts and peanut butter).

Service speed was just right. Not too long and not to quick either. Staff were approachable, friendly and courteous. They say hello when you enter their restaurant and they bid you goodbye when you're about to leave. That's a plus for me honestly.

Cheap but delicious steak. Get it Medium or Medium Rare, with some smashed potatoes and haricot beans, carrots and bacon on the sides. Bootstrap or Cream mushroom sauce, whichever you prefer. Yum!

After movie i was really hungry since i didnt take my dinner yet, officemates need to go home but my hunger aint going nowhere so i plan to drop by at a sushi station at bgc stopover but mad marks caught my eye.

Their steak was their best seller but im craving for ribs. Ordered johnny black ribs with 2 sides at P305. Ribs was good, mashed potato was not bad, beans with carrot and bacon bits i shall not repeat.128528

I read how good their half baked madagascar ice cream was so i ordered it. I also heard that its not allowed for double scoop but i still go ahead and order double scoop 128521 hehe. Its really not allowed, i inquire on it and the server says "yun ang sabi eh", so i poke further she told me that vanilla used was of limited supply so enough questions na and i want to taste it. It was really good. It was a creamy vanila with i guess half baked dough and very tiny bits of cookies. Abit sweet that i think 1 scoop is just okay. 128522
