Skipping my usual quesadillas @ Madeca during lunch yesterday. And give in with their Mexicanin meal , Lechon Kawali (P265) crispy and fried to perfection Lechon kawali , sidings include: nacho chips, chili con carne, flavored cup of rice and 2 dips (salsa & sour cream). The nachos are fun sidings to start. Eveything is okay plus it satisfies my hunger (not bitin). I only have one comment, for dip lovers you might look for something to dip your lechon kawali. The dips serve are good for the nachos, but I managed to get hot sauce and dip it with salsa.. Enough for me.

Madeca has lots of good meals that I still wanted to try. Well its out favorite place during lunch

Ps: they have buy one take one mojitos from 2-7pm.m for P135 and its good 128522

This would be my 5th times review at madeca. Madeca serves Mexican food with a Filipino twist.
I like how Madeca is festively decorated in bright red and green. The throw pillows and painted chairs add a nice vibe too.

I really loved their ice tea - 40Php only and also their quessadillas - 125Php only 128523128077🏻

Madeca serves Mexican food with a Filipino twist. I went for one of their best sellers, the Sisig Burrito which was packed with so much flavor. The Sisig was crunchy but a few pieces had a slightly burnt after taste. The Burrito tasted even better when slathered with the salsa and sour cream. I loved every bite and I couldn't believe how full I felt. The chips were bland and a bit oily but tasted quite different from the usual stuff served at Mexican joints.

I like how Madeca is festively decorated in bright red and green. The throw pillows and painted chairs add a nice vibe too.

I'm sure I'll be back for the Sisig Burrito pretty soon!

Our default place in the office everytime we decided to go out for lunch. We usually order, the spinach & mushroom quesadillas (P125) Last friday, my officemate, Yna N decided to share an oder of quesadillas and this time we get the ever sinful, Chicken Chicharon! Its the resto's tarpaulin's fault that we crave. To make it less sinful we share na din.

Their Chicken Chicharon, is crunchy and tasty (not salty) and it is served with salsa sauce. Its just so so so yummy

Burger is my comfort food. But if you put beans on my burger... I'm sorry it just does not work for me.

I admit, as much as I want to be lean and strong, I would choose a food trip over a free workout anytime. However, the case was different a few weeks back. I felt really heavy and when I do, I just have to give in to exercise and tried Plana Forma. It was PAIN. But there’s something I look forward to after every workout… reward. And by reward I mean food.

After an hour of squatting, T and I went to Podium with the plan of eating at Wildflour. It was our second attempt to do so but when we arrived, the place was packed with hungry brunch people. So we decided to look for another place to have brunch. Then I remembered Madeca. I saw it before in Yummy magazine and fell in love with the cute mason glasses.

Luckily, the 4th floor of Podium isn’t packed. (Normally, the busiest floor is the ground floor where Wildflour is located.) There was only one diner when we arrived.

We noticed that Madeca isn’t an authentic Mexican restaurant. It is a fusion between Mexican and Filipino. I got intrigued with Lechon Kawali Burrito (PHP245) so I ordered one along with Spinach and Mushroom Quesadilla (PHP125) and Guava Mojito (PHP135). T on the other hand ordered Sisig Burrito (PHP225).

The Spinach and Mushroom Quesadilla was on the bland side but topping it with sour cream and salsa solves that. I love that it was served warm. The chips were delightful too as it added texture to the dish.

I was a bit disappointed with my burrito though as the lechon kawali wasn’t crispy. The server told me it was but it was rather soft. Nonetheless it was savory. Adding a bit of sour cream and salsa made it even more interesting.

T told me that hers was slightly crispy and that made us look at our burritos if it was switched or what. But I guess if I want a crispier filing, I should order sisig next time.

As for my drink, it was refreshing! It only had a tinge of alcohol so even those with low alcohol tolerance will enjoy this drink at noon.

I'll be back for more of that mojito at noon drinks! :)

Spinach and mushroom quesadilla is the best thing I’ve ever had here, it costs only php125.00! It oozes with cheeses and healthy spinach, it’s my favorite ever! It was served with fried wanton wrapper I think, which serves as the chips with salsa and cream. I always order this as my lunch and it really fills me up. Must try is their iced tea, its house blend and was placed on a cute glass.

Place: it was just a simple space beside Subway, well lit with decent tables and chairs.

Staffs: Servers are attentive and friendly.

I like it here!

Chicken Quesadilla, Salpicao Mexikanin and their iced tea = 127775127775127775127775

The chicken quesadilla was super cheesy, the Salpicao Mexikanin was flavorful, tender, and had the right amount of spice, and the iced tea was so good that I just had to get another one!

I might have gotten the wrong items when we first tried it here 'cause every time we went to Podium, Madeca wasn't really a choice in the san-ba-tayo-kakain game.

Can't wait to go back! 128149
