The place of the Marcos'. Hope the tourist can help in preserving this place. Let's respect the place. There is also a side in the mansion where you can overlook the Paoay lake.

Malacañang of the North is one of my family's itinerary when we visited Ilocos Norte. It is one of the residences of the Marcos' family when they are in the North.

The house is very big especially Imelda's walking closet. 9996🏼️ Her closet is as big as our apartment... Or even bigger hahahaha. The place is well- maintained and it is very cozy because of there is a lake outside the house.

Malacañang Of The North overlooks the Paoay Lake. This sprawling 5 hectare property used to be the official residence of the late President Ferdinand Marcos and his family in Ilocos Norte is now a museum. The place was said to be First Lady Imelda Marcos’ birthday gift to the former president.

You'll see the pffice of the late President Ferdinand Marcos which he uses whenever he is in Ilocos Norte. According to the PSG who is strictly in charge of this area, this is the only remaining chair left of the former president from Malacañang. Nobody is allowed to sit down for picture taking.

This place speaks of opulence and excess. i can only imagine what it must have been like during its heydey. From the palatial grounds to the heavy narra floors to the grand staircase and the cavernous rooms, this place is a testament to over indulgence. I shudder at the thought that my parents' hard earned money was used to build this. I can only hope that this serves as a strong reminder to Filipinos to forever be vigilant and resist the temptation of absolute power.

Another Team Greenwich Adventure! Our last destination when we had our Ilocos tour.

The mansion is big, old pictures and furnitures were still there. We arrived at 5:45pm, so inabutan kami ng 6:00pm, and guess what biglang nagdilim ang buong paligid. Lampara lang ang mga ilaw sa bawat silid at sa bulwagan, so scary!

Note:
Picture grabbed from Google, we weren't able to take pictures because of poor lightning.

Iam not a fan of Marcos so I didn't explore the place much... What I love here is the lake at the back of this mansion.... The famous paoay lake... Serene place... Fresh air.... Probinsyang probinsya... My friends explore the whole place up to the second floor... Me? I spend the visit at the souvenir shop and bought some laoag souvenir stuffs there... :)

Marcoses Old house. It was nice and spacious. It was really grand! But some areas were turned into a somewhat exhibit area. So it wasn't as authentic as you'd want it to be.
Place was enormous!!!!!
