Probably my 3rd time here. We didnt like their Malcolm Beef Steak. It was bland and dry. The rice was "matigas" too. 128078🏻

Photos were from 2 separate occasions we had dinner here. The place is small and has limited tables. Ambience is cozy.

The kitayama striploin steak was really good, tender and flavorful. The steak rice was so-so, I still prefer Hai's.

Sizzling Bulalo was also good, tender and good for sharing.

Aligue Pasta - disappointing. It was too spicy for my taste. It wasnt indicated on the menu that it was spicy. Could hardly taste the aligue flavor because of the chili peppers. It was sliced thinly that I had to fork over my pasta just to take them out.

Burger - was surprised to see how small it was. Although it was tasty and tender, I feel that it was too pricey (Php400+) given the size.

We had a bottle of red wine on both dinners. Perfect128076🏻.

Free wifi. They have parking space in front 128077🏻

Malcom's Benedict - Eggs Benedict with mushrooms, spinach, onions, hollandaise, and poached egg but instead of the usual ham they took it up a notch by replacing it with Kitayama Wagyu Tapa as the protein.

Place - small & lonely & to top it all, it has 3 roaches roaming at the bench where we are sitted at. The server saw it but choose to ignore it. Finally, when the 3rd roach came by, we called the manager, and the manager just get a tissue to kill it. No apology or anything from the management.
Server - the one & only server on that wednesday dinner time (7:30pm) was aloof. We learned that bec my husband ordered their rib eye which is priced at php300/100g. But when he brought the actual steak to us, he said its php3500/kg. and it brought a ?? Reaction to us. Then the server said, it's because its 1 kg... That's why its php3500. So.. It's the new math... Php300/gram = php3500/kg
Food - only the Malcolm's eggs Benedict is good. Their best seller daw na carbonara is salty, while their steak and eggs is tasteless

Humongous 3 stack pancakes worth the P280 price in a not so hurried location in BGC and you can have this all day!

I've heard that they serve one of the greatest pancake ever! 10084 But sadly, we didn't go here for pancakes! Hahah! 128514 Decided to have a quick meal with boyfie.128517

• PLACE
- The place is a bit small. Though I must admit, it's pretty nice. Classic, wooden interiors as you enter. Parang modern old school! 128518

• SERVICE
- Their service is excellent. They make sure that we are comfortable with our table, etc, (little things matters) 9786

• PRICE and FOOD
Their price is reasonable. We ordered the following:

Classic Eggs Benedict with Canadian Ham - nomnom! Imagine a pansedal filled with goodness of ham, eggs, and hollandaise sauce! The sidings and vegs was equally good! 10084

Steak and Eggs for boyfie - Kitayama (?) Wagyu Beef was really flavorful and tender! Served with eggs and potatoes. But boyfie told me that an extra rice with this one is surely a winner! Bahahaha! 128514

No room for dessert! We're completely stuffed! Maybe next time! 128523

Saw a looloo sticker on the door! I see more and more establishments with them, which prompts me to always point it out to my ever-patient boyfriend.

This isn't the first time we ate here.. siguro it's around the third time already but I found that I haven't reviewed it yet. 128522 Service is great, everything arrives fast and the servers are always polite and friendly.

They make a really mean, gooey Philly Cheesesteak sandwich here. I highly recommend it for sandwich/burger-type food lovers! Or even just meat lovers, because the beef is topnotch. It's served in half, but really if you don't have a huge appetite it can be considered good for two. They're very generous with the cheese and beef with this one, so every bite is sumptuous and reaaaally good.

Also had their french onion soup, it was decent in taste but not as memorable as my main course. I've had better, for sure. They also have a good selection of alcohol for those who love to pair their food with a glass or two of the appropriate booze, and a television - perfect for chilling after a delicious and filling meal. I forgot to take pictures to accompany this post, because I wolfed everything down the moment it arrived!127860

I enjoyed their bacon cheeseburger. 128541
Beefy goodness, juicy medium well burger. It's a deli so ambience is good.

They have wagyu stuff like steak, burger, salpicao (oh that was good; just tried someone's excess).

If you're looking for a deli atmosphere, good conversation place, this is it.

P300-500@ They have free wi fi too. Oh and recommended by Looloo.

Found a new possibly favorite brunch spot serving the most amazing pancakes I've ever tried.

Pancake house still has a special spot in my heart even though their pancakes may be inconsistent at times, but this discovery just floored the heck out of me. Seriously, Malcolm's pancakes have all the qualities that make up the perfect pancake:

☑ uses buttermilk batter
☑ unbelievably thick and fluffy!
☑ light and airy but not heavy at all
☑ slightly crisp on the outside
☑ golden brown in color
☑ gives off a light scent of butter and vanilla--smells absolutely divine!
☑ huge in size (bigger than the average pancake, it's bigger than a small plate!) therefore very filling
☑ served with softened butter and rich maple syrup with a side of berries/grapes and sprinkled with powdered sugar
☑ soaks up the syrup and butter like a sponge

Although I wanted to order the Malcolm stack (3 pcs), I decided to settle for the mini stack (2 pcs) instead and good thing I did because I wasn't expecting for the pancakes to be that big. The mini stack can actually be already shared by two. And given the size of their pancakes, prices (230 for the mini stack, 280 for stack) aren't that bad either!

Definitely will be coming back here for my regular flapjack cravings!128522

Oh and i think it was my first time to spot a looloo sticker! cool beans128516

Had a hearty breakfast on Sunday.

Ordered Malcolm's stack - 3 piece buttermilk pancakes - DELISH!!!

Their wagyu corned beef eggs Benedict is also really good!

Highly recommended!

You can also get a breakfast upgrade for 150.00 free flowing coffee, cereal and congee.

Definitely be back for another hearty meal!

When I need my protein fix and am on a low carb regimen then this is the place for me to go. I love their steak and eggs and cheat a little bit with their country fries. For brekkie this is a great choice for early risers as it opens at 7am and you should indulge in their buttermilk pancakes. Besides, brekkie is a free pass. Well-priced and generous portions, just parking is a concern so try and go on an off hour especially for a weekend dinner plan.

I know, the picture looks good. But.. The taste isn't. I'm fond of cheesecakes, but this one is the exception. Though, I haven't tasted their breakfast like the wagyu. I'll try it once and will let you guys know.

But for the coffee, it's good and well blended. The place is perfect since it's super near our office. Plus, you might bump into the Younghusbands. Regular customers of Malcolm's.

Not a big fan of this place. Havent been here in a couple years. Had the Irish eggs Benedict this morning and coffee. Was actually pretty good. I love my eggs runny and they keep em super runny :) potatos and onions were tasty too.

Just another so-called-lazy day and decided to grab some sandwich in a near fast food, but ended up ordering their Classic Philly Cheese Steak. This time, I give them 4-stars for fast service and delicious sub. But I was bit disappointed how they arrange it in a box (take out) as it looks like they just thrown out.

Well, at least I enjoyed with large cut fries.
