This hotel sucks. So-so rooms, water heater in room
not working, breakfast buffet is ordinary and no good, hotel key card is defective that you end up going back & forth to the front office and room. Hassle!

Checked in here last Dec 27-29 (extended to 30) and the hotel was great! Staff members were very accommodating and friendly too! They have an accredited taxi drivers that could accompany you wherever you want to go (I recommend kuya Ludwig).

I got stranded at CDO during that time and it was also my birthday. It was the first time I spent my birthday away from home and I was saddened about it. Luckily, their ever so joyful staff tried to cheer me up by singing happy birthday to me :)

I LOVE MALLBERRY!! And I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!:)

From Centrio Mall (where we had lunch), Mallberry Suites Business Hotel is a 5-minute drive.

When we arrived there, surprisingly the hotel lobby is jam-packed with tourists of all sorts and business people. But since we have reservations for our business meeting we were eluded the hassle of lining up at the front desk, etc.

Our meeting venue is at the 8F, board rooms 3 and 4. We got the 2 rooms for P8,000 (roughly USD200), quite expensive er? The good thing is that we can consume all the P8000 for food and drinks from the restaurant and cafe at the lobby - Rosso Restaurant and Cafe Berde (separate reviews).

What's good about this hotel are I think the following:
1. Location - It's in the city proper, inside the Limketkai Center. At the end of your meeting, you can just walk your way to the malls (Robinson's Mall, Limketkai).
2. Elevators - Seldom I can see hotels which have very pretty elevators. Theirs have gold paintings, and floor-ceiling mirrors.

Of course, there are things too which I liked less:
1. Restroom - there's no restroom at the 8F (where our meeting is held), we have to go up or down 1 floor to pee since the restroom are located at the 9F and 7F. Also, the restrooms have poor lighting that it seemed scary (like that of scary movie restroom scenes) so I opted to use the restroom at the GF.
2. Waiters - they often cannot be found. We need to oftentimes call the operator to ask if they can send in a waiter.
3. Food orders - it took forever for our food to arrive. The food is even colder than the AC.
4. Crowded - As I mentioned, there were quite a number of hotel guests and lobby is mostly swamped by guests.
5. Rooms - One of our colleagues checked in there and she mentioned the hotel rooms to be okay, 'halatang luma'

Overall, I would not recommend this hotel given the many cons more than the pros.

Family getaway! Loved d 1 queen w/ 1 single bed at p2400 a night. With bfast for 2.

They have an indoor pool which the kids will try later since it was reserved for a party yesterday.

Their service was fast. Wen d bath tub wasn't working, they sent a mechanic right away. They also transferred us to another room after we discovered that all d outlets were not functioning. We also find it convenient to entrust our gadgets to the reception wen we go out for a walk.

Typical business hotel. Breakfast buffet but limited options and repeated the next day. Rooms are okay, spacious and clean smelling, bathroom is clean enough.

Hotel surrounding is not so nice and can be very noisy because of too many motorelas (tricycle).

For a first timer in Cagayan de Oro, this is one of the best hotel that you can stay to. It's located in the City proper just opposite Limketkai Mall which also means walking distance to the food strip and other famous Restaurants like Cagayanon.

Colleague and I were booked by a friend in standard rooms only but the receptionist told us that guests in standard rooms are extending their stay so we need to upgrade for deluxe rooms for P1450 each with breakfast buffet. Price is not that bad but we just feel that it's their style so that guests with no choice will do the upgrade.

The breakfast tables offers wide arrays of breakfast meals: cereals, sausages, bacon, egg (sunny side up and scrambled), longganisa, tocino, vegetable salad and your choice of dressing (Ceasar and Thousan Island) lots of fruits and overflowing beverages.

After my breakfast, it's so sulit!

In the picture is my favorite part of the hotel room, the dresser128077.

Place sucks....

Was here last year and i don't remember that this hotel's service sucked this much.

Front desk were bugging us the whole day just to confirm our rooms considering we already told them for the nth time and we were endorsed by a big local company in cdo.

Upon arrival around 8pm, front desk check in was fast yet when we asked for a room upgrade there was none except for a presidential suite???

Wtf, oldest trick in the book so we'll be forced to get the higher rate room...duh

It's raining here now and i asked for a hotel umbrella....guess what?

The whole hotel only got 1 umbrella for their guests!!!!

*%&$@ ...they better closed shop before some crazy guy burn this lousy hotel down.

Never ever going back here!!!

I have this weird habit where I stay in hotels whenever I feel sad, And so far this hotel is my favorite. I love the ambiance, plus its affordable. the place is near a lot of restos and malls. Their interior is lovely. just what I like, minimalist. I dislike flamboyant colors in hotels, so not nice to look at. Lol Mallberry offers a lot (food, spa, gym, cafe, etc) at prices you can afford. Minus one star because it takes ages to check-out!!

Most liked Hotels in The beautiful Cagayan de oro, this hotel is one of the best in town, located behind robinsons mall, and near limketkai area, this hotel is where to be for night life, shopping, and business outings. They have a private pool, gym, spa and gaming/internet room. And best of all, in there luxurious hotel is two of my fave restaurants in town, Cafe laguna and Rosso cafe. This hotel aint cheap but they give you what your money has to offer. 128076
