Located near the San Roque center, Mama Chit's is a restaurant that serves good and yummy food that you will surely love.

It's actually a small place that looks like a garden of a usual home. Upon seeing the place, you'll see a signage that will help you in finding the area.

The exterior of the restaurant has potted plants, chairs and tables for those who want to dine in outside and those that would probably smoke.

Upon entering the restaurant, you will see how artsy and creative the interiors are with memorabilias, antiques, paintings, etc that gave the resto a unique character.

We ordered their Onion Rings, Cheeseburger and Clubhouse Sandwich. The rings were crispy and crunchy that made me love them. The burger and sandwich were both filling and fulling, making your tummy happy with its flavors as well as you get the chance to share it with others.

Mama Chit's got its fame and notoriety (in a good way) after it was featured in a local tv show.  People who live outside of Marikina have never heard of this joint before.  This is one of those moments wherein I'm thankful of the immense power of media.

This is my third time dining at Mama Chits, first time to write a review.  This is the quintessential hole-in-the-wall joint.  The decor comprises of vintage items - Beatles,  Elvis,  Andy Warhol's famous portrait of Norma Jean Baker,  some cool coca cola items,  posters from the 60's.  Each corner is filled with tons of memorabilia - it looks cramped but in a good way,  this adds to its charm.  Think Irish Pub.

We ordered the following:

*Cheeseburger
*Spaghetti
*CrisCut Fries

The cheeseburger is surprisingly good - a steal at php 100.  The brioche bun is soft and flavorful, burger patty is juicy.  Despite the usage of mustard,  this didn't deter me from finishing my half (yes,  this was cut in half - diet delusions).

The spaghetti is served hot (pun intended - see my previous review).  Reasonably priced at php 130.  Al dente noodles with generous and flavorful sauce,  topped with cheese and fresh parsley.

The fries is too oily for my liking,  maybe they didn't drain it well after frying.  Despite the presence of oil,  it's crispy and cooked to perfection.  Best paired with hot sauce-mayo concoction.

A meal at Mama Chit's is always satisfying.   Diners get to experience a lil history lesson while munching on sumptuous affordable grub.  History and good food make a killer combination.

Now i know why Kris Aquino and Kim Chui liked this burger so much. It is sooo worth the hype! The bread and the patty is reallyyyyy good, the patty is not too thin and not too thick and the bread, grabe! It is somewhat crispy but still soft. Sobrang galing ng pagkakagawa! I just know i would come back for more.

Downside, place doesn't have an aircon plus the server is medj mataray but this won't stop me from getting burgers from this diner! Super loved it talaga 100841008410084

The food here is amazing! After eating here I spent the night thinking about their cheeseburger and promised myself I'd go back within the week. Turns out my husband was also thinking of their cheeseburger before sleeping and he also decided we would go back. So it's that good!

The cheeseburger is large and contains lots of veggies too. Their bun is so soft and delicious. My husband thinks it is homemade bread. I just think it's yummy. The patty is so good. It's worth the visit to Marikina, I promise you.

They also serve double patty cheeseburgers and the famous family burger, which we both saw that day. The family burger costs P600 and is good for 6 or more people. It is a burger as big as a family size pan pizza.

The hungarian sasuage sandwich was also amazing. It came in a generous serving, which loved.

We ordered their crisscut fries and wedges. I think these need more salt but there is salt in the condiments section so that wasn't a problem.

We also ordered their puttanesca and wow were we blown away by this. It was made of olive oil and full of tomatoes, capers and olive. My husband said there seems to be some anchovies but we're not sure. The puttanesca was surprisingly delicious, and we recommend it, as with everything else we ate there.

I do hope you try their burgers/dishes out!!! It's located almost across rustic mornings! 128521

We just had a cheeseburger and potato wedges since we had our late lunch and merienda before going here. The turkey burrito in this picture was Brian's (hubby's cousin). The bread in the burger was very soft and it tastes good. Wedge fries is kinda pricey for me because of small serving ( for 80 pesos). But still reasonable. Overall experience was okay. We had a chance to have some pictures with the owner whose very nice of her to pose with us. Too bad one picture can only be uploaded here. 128521 The place was an oldy type of resto where you can see old stuffs like (old school) phone, pictures, memorabilias..

Ordered the Turkey Burrito and Nacho Salad last night.

The Burrito tasted so fresh and delicious. I wasn't able to finish my order because I ate so much of the Nacho Salad - complete with Tomatoes, Apples, Cucumbers, Lettuces, Cheese, and Nachos! Really, really worth it!

Paid for P320 only!

What did we just eat? 128561128557

The 100-peso cheeseburger is not worth it. I think we just ate a big bun with a small patty in it.
The fries for 80 pesos is also not worth it. We shouldve ordered na lang in a fast food chain where we can get large fries worth 80 pesos below.
The carbonara for 150 pesos is bland plus it's too (saucy) masabaw. Haha.

The first time we ate here was 128525128522 love at first bite 'cos of their generous servings of patty and the juiciness of the burger plus the sulit price.. And now it's gone. We are disappointed. Sorry.

I had gone here with my "boyfriend" sometime last year. My HS friend introduced me this restaurant. They serve burgers and etc. i love the concept of the place with different car plates from other countries and also their drinks which are imported from the US. The only awkward thing is that they are located beside a bicycle shop yet i will definitely go back here.

The cheeseburger they served was so consistent with the size and its yummy-ness,juiciness and char-off the grill. No doubt it is the best burger in town.
