I would like to say that I had a good experience with Manam Express but I did not. Saw them in the food court of Glorietta and I was so happy because I can finally try the infamous sisg. After all, it's still Manam and I did not doubt the quality of food even in a food court setting with supposed to be bang for your buck prices.

I got their meal which included your choice of rice x ulam x veggie or pancit with soup and iced tea. All these for only 149Php. You might say sulit, right? Coz if you come to think of it, it is. I got their garlic rice with Crispy Sisig and Gising-gising. The rice serving was a lot than what I have expected. The Sisig was just okay. It was crunchy, yes, but I didn't really get to taste any meat in it. It was like eating chicharon. It didn't taste good or spectacular either. It was a little sweet plus salty and that's it. The Gising-gising was just okay too. It was a little spicy but it was obvious that it has been sitting in their pantry for a long time already.

Guess with the price of the food here, the quality has been sacrificed. Will have to give that Sisig another try in their restaurants.

I just found the best Sisig in the Metro! For just P149, I have discovered that there's more to Dencio's or Gilligans. The P149 includes ULAM + RICE + PANSIT + SOUP + ICED TEA - this is the perfect example of a bang for your buck.

For Ulam, you can choose from a variety of their Filipino Food specialty. For rice, choices are Garlic, Bagoong, Tinapa or just plain. Then Miki and Bihon for the pansit. Just add P20 if you want to add gulay. It's still sulit for only P169! The serving is huge I still managed to share the sisig with my mom and sister.

Since I honestly haven't heard of Manam before, I did some research. They have a restaurant in MOA and Trinoma. Their sisig is also recommended by Food Blogger Jin Loves to Eat as the best in town. Then when Ne-yo (International Music Artist) was in the country for a concert, he asked around where can he eat the best selection of Filipino Food and he was taken to Manam in MOA.

I still have to try other Ulam like the Kare-Kare and Crispy Pork Binagoongan. Can't wait to be back in Glorietta for Manam 128521

They've changed.

All time favorites are gone, replaced with sad pancit canton or bihon, veggies are now add-ons.

Gone are the days when you can enjoy tinapa rice, mangga't kamatis, ensaladang talong. If this is what you've liked about the place, you're bound to get disappointed.

The meal does include juice now, if that's any solace.

Nouveau concept of creating ur own meal but expectations need to be managed. When u order rice, serving is for people with big appetite. Bagoong rice is ok. If u get the tilapia, expect to eat some rock salt towards the head part of the fish. 128539 When u get the talong with salted egg, expect that there are more onions than the egg. And the sago't gulaman, take the kape seriously on the name. It
tastes bitter.

This was awesome and real cheap. Bagoong rice and that heavenly tinapa rice. That kamatis/manggo is awesome and the bagnet did not fail and yeah that inihaw na tapa is delish! Oh... Toge salpicao is good as well. Service was bad but food was nice! Cheap thrill. Will be back here soon.

Was not impressed because i was expecting more. The kangkong was bland and the protein was too small and tasteless. The inasal style chicken was their saving grace however take a look at the picture and you'll notice they cheated me.

Too bad I wasn't able to take a picture of the food I ordered, but here's their menu board.

I ordered the Kumpletos meal (bagnet-style pork belly + bagoong fried rice + mangga't kamatis + garlic suka). The pork belly was both crispy and soft, and if dipped in suka, ugh it was gooood! Bagoong fried rice was deli as well, not too oily and not too bland. Well I should've picked the gising-gising instead of the mangga't kamatis, bec I wasn't impressed with it. The last time I ate at their Trinoma branch I picked gising-gising and it was juicy and spicy, although it was a bit salty.

Good food, big servings, happy tummy! If you happen to pass by Trinoma or Glorietta Food Choices, make sure to eat here!

I was so happy to find out that there's now a fastfood version of namnam!

I tried their University Rice that comes with tapa and it was so good and also so affordable for only P105!

Eating at the foodcourt just got more interesting!
