As we were doing our daily walk , when hungry 128523 we found this Filipino restaurant.... from looking from the road , this Restaurant didn’t look to appetising & inside was very quiet for customers
The menu is in Filipino , so I needed a translation from my partner , as I could have ended up ordering whatever ... even Beki 128056
So to stay safe we ordered BBQ , Chop Suey & Pancit Canton with Mango Shakes
Firstly the Mango Shake tasted partly real .... after leaving the shake for a little time , this drink started to look to sedimentate - I didn’t drink more than one sip 128553
The Pancit Canton was plentiful , however oily & couldn’t finish because I lost the taste for this meal
The Chop Suey was just Okay with well cooked vegetables , however the sauce was to peppery
The Skinless Chorizo was good for 10 PHP
Unexpectedly one of the forks came out food stained
The semi loud 127911 background music was mostly Christmas 127876 song in Filipino & English ... whilst basic Halloween 127875 decoration hung around the inside food hall ... there is also an outdoor eating area
The total meal was 485 PHP
The staff asked if we wanted to take away the left overs ... no way
This restaurant looks more of a drinking establishment with a small entertainment stage surrounded with large sound boxes
Sure will not go back .... even for a beer 127866
I can see why this place was quiet

Just a typical, carenderia-like restaurant that is advertised more for drinking sprees rather than an eating place.

Crocodile Sisig is their best seller and the favorite for alcoholic and beer drinkers alike. It's a good thing I'm not alcoholic and a beer drinker. Hahaha.

This place is also famous for their "Biko Bayot", aptly named because the one who cooks and prepares this sweet sticky rice dessert favorite is supposedly "bayot" or gay. Hahaha.

Had a pleasant dining experience here apart of course from the flies which seem to be all over the place.

"Asa ta? Manggahan na ta!" Thats their line 128512 pinoy food galore at a considerably cheap price. Place was packed to the brim on saturday nights with good local talents and professional bands/singers 127908 from Manila occasionally serenading d crowd. Beers are cold which is always a good sign. 128525 wifey, son n I had pork bbq 127842, sizzling squid, lechon kawali, and their famous deep fried HITO 128077. Gregg had a good time with their shakes 127865while we had beers 127867 after beers 127867! I paid only 1200 bang for the buck!

Beware of their spicy squid, its like wild chili (siling labuyo) with a dash of squid LOL.

Manggahan Resto sits in a street filled with very good food places. Its a Filipino resto thats not cheap nor pricey. They offer the usual pork, chicken n fish grilled pinoy way. Also offers sizzling balut and crocodile sisig! A band usually serenades around 9pm and people usually go here for drinks, buy theyre open 5am - 3am! Unfortunately we went here on a Sunday, beers were not cold probbly ran out on a Saturday eve.

We grabbed barbecue, kinilaw, lechon kawali and grilled pusit. All dishes were ok but the grilled pusit tops our list. Though the barbecue was 8 bux per piece, the stick was small so don't doubt the 7 stick minimum order.

Try the shakes. At 48 bux, you won't go wrong.

Beers are 48 bux which makes this place a good spot to hang out with your friends :)

Monggos and pork BBQ set! Beer is affordable. They're waiters always has a quirky greeting. The only downside is the parking space. When it gets packed, especially on weekends it's really hard to find a Parking spot.

Sizzling crocodile meat or "Lacoste" according to the funny waiter. It just tastes like pork though. Hahaa

The place and price are both good. And their waiters are so jolly. Thumbs up!

Who would not love a beer that would cost for only php35? And a cocktail drink for only php48? With a live band that plays every night and a bog serving deliciously good food, I would want to chill till the sun comes up!

Filipino dishes in a criminally low price! Servings are really small though. A casual place to eat and their cocktails are pretty good too!
