Tried their Manga at Suman in their stall in the Gourmand Market. Tastes exactly like suman with a few rice bits. Not too sweet. Prefer more mangoes though.

PSA. Manila Creamery will be at the new wing of UPTC for a month. You may find them on the same floor as the cinema.

Anyway, this is the only reason why i decided to spend my Saturday night at UPTC. Their gelato is so good, it will give you massive amounts of patience so you can endure the horrendous traffic in the Metro.

I have tried almost all of their flavors except for the classic ones. I picked Vanilla Almond this time. Imagine vanilla flavoured gelato drizzled with caramel syrup and chunks of almond. Enticing, yes? Damn straight. The gelato is smooth like liquid velvet and sports subtle sweetness. The almond chunks keeps every spoonful exciting. ..although i would've preffered it sans the nuts.

Manila Creamery's take on the classic is simple and sophisticated.

Nothing beats the summer heat by eating a nice cup of Ice Cream! 127846

I was with my friend, Friday night strolling along Glorietta as we decided to stroll for a while as traffic tends to get really on a "Friday pay day night". Anyway alot of shops are on sale and we decided to check out shops!

While strolling, I've been wondering where the Manila Creamy pop up store is. (To 128221, I've been searching for the store a couple of times whenever I'm at Glorietta) Finally, after a few hours of walking/shopping, I found it! Good thing my friend got stalled in one of the pop up stores along Glorietta. While waiting for my friend, I noticed a number of folks crowding around a small shop. Then some folks walking towards me is holding a familiar cup of ice cream with a triangle shaped chocolate waffle. And so my 128156 skipped a beat and immediately dashed towards the crowd of people standing! To my surprised, 128561128561 it's Manila Creamery's pop up store! 128525128525

A number of customers where in front of me upon reaching the stall. And I had to wait a few minutes for my turn. To add, the couple in front of me took to loooong as they literally tried every flavor 128529128529128529 before they can even decided what flavors to get!

The first time I tried their gelato, I got one of the famous and best sellers, the Mango and Suman with Latik ice cream! This was sooo yummy128523128523128523 that since then, I've been craving to taste the other flavors. Just for those who have not tried it yet, it's like literally eating a local filipino delicacy kakain, which is just cold. The suman bits and the tartness of the mango bits together with the creaminess of the gelato was a marrying of different flavors that is so delissshhhh! The addition of the latik syurp drizzled on top enhances the flavor and texture which will give confused your brain if you are just literally eating a cold kakain or if this is ice cream. 128513

As it was my turn already (Finally!! 128540) I was like a happy kid in front of an ice cream stand thinking of what to get next! I didn't waste time of tasting the ice cream as it would probably make me more confuse as to what I should get..heheheh

Initially, I decided to just take a single scoop my friend and I are about to grab dinner and I don't want to loose my appetite by starting off with dessert. So, I decided to get my default ice cream flavor, Pistachio. So while the server was scooping my ice cream, I was checking out the other available flavors and towards the end of my scan, the word "dark chocolate" caught me! So I said to myself, why not get two scoops, after all, i always have room for dessert and I need to celebrate as my haunt for Manila Creamery's pop up store is over!
The server was surprised as she was suppose to hand me over my order and I immediately told her if I can add another scoop of gelato and got the dark chocolate flavor. 128513128513128513 So that explains why my picture appears to just have the dark chocolate ice cream scoop as the Pistachio ice cream was at the bottom part. Usually, when you order two scoops, they serve it side by side so you can taste both flavors. But because of my fickle mind, the Pistachio flavor is way down the bottom of my cup! 128528

127860 Dark Chocolate flavor is sooo good! 128523128523 As a fan of dark chocolate, it was not too hard for me to like this flavor. As the description says, the ingredients is made from Davao cacao, which is nice as they sourced local ingredients to make this yummy dessert! 128522 The velvety gelato with hints of the bitter sweet taste of the cacao is so good that I really enjoyed every time my spoon dived into my cup! My kind of chocolate gelato, not too creamy and sweet, the presence of the dark chocolate flavor is still there! This is a solid 11088110881108811088️ for me!

127860Pistachio flavor - this has always been my favorite. Any kind if dessert, from chocolates (love the Lindtt Pistachio!) down to cakes, and of course Ice cream, if there is the word Pistachio, it must be good! 128540 So I finally finished the scoop of the dark chocolate and now comes the best part, trying it. (I even took a sip of water first just to cleanse my palette so as to taste the gelato better 128514) So, upon taking my first taste, I was like a happy kid who tried ice cream for the first time! Even my friend who was busy shopping, when I offered her to try it, she literally paused and loved it, quoting her "Hmmmm, ang sarappp!) I 128156 their version of the Pistachio ice cream, so far I think this is moving on top of my list! (If you have suggestions, please let me know! TIA! 128522) The creaminess and silky texture of the ice cream is 128077🏻128077🏻! Unlike other, pistachio flavored ice cream, where they just literally colored the ice cream green with a few bits of nuts, Manila Creamery's version is the best! 128513 The Pistachio flavor, literally is the star! And the best part is, I can actually eat and taste bits of pistachio nuts not to chunky and not too small, just right. ( although it would have been better if there is more 128521 chunks)
This flavor is a 11088110881108811088️1/2 stars for me!

Just a 128221, for first timers of Manila Creamery, I would highly suggest that you taste which flavors you like. They have lots of interesting flavors! Also, the serving scoop is kind of small for the price, but I would not mind splurging a few more peso as their ice cream is worth every cent! 128513

We meet again Manila Creamery.  I'm expecting to see the familiar stall when i visited Gourmand.

They offer new flavors - Ube Macapuno and something with corn in it.  I got the avocado variant.  The only mistake i had was i didnt try 'em first before i ordered.  I find the flavor too close to the actual taste of the fruit.  I like avocados but you know that it kinda tastes bitter if you eat' em sans the condensed milk.  I got the bitter taste after a couple of spoonfuls.  On the bright side,  the consistency is still on point,  like liquid velvet.

Three stars for now.  Avocado flavor needs a lil improvement.  I guess they need to tweak the flavor a lil bit.

P. S.  I still love you,  Manila Creamery.

Have been going round and round in glorietta 2 the other month looking for Manila Creamery. Until I gave up and asked the concierge where Manila Creamery is located. Thats when I found out that they don't have a store in Glorietta but from time to time they have a pop up store.128517128517128517

Last sunday I was walking again in Glorietta and finally got to chance upon their pop up store. Finally I was able to try their very filipino flavor like the tinutong rice. The tinutong rice is a very surprising delighful flavor. It tasted similar to a rice tea (Genmaicha). I love the scent and flavor of that burnt rice. Next time got to try the mangga't suman. 9786

They'll also be opening their official first store in UP Town by June. Hoping for more unique flavors! 128522128076

Hot summer days deserve some good gelato lovin' 128525

Mnl Creamery is one of my top gelato picks, probably next after BONO. I just love how they put texture into their smooth, thick and creamy gelato. They're also experimental and able to capture flavors so vividly.

Just like other gelato sellers, MNL Creamery will allow you to taste all the flavors you want until you decide. They've got lots of great flavors and it's best to get double scoop, regular size since it has little price difference when you opt for a single scoop.

My favorite combo is this 9757🏻️9757🏻️9757🏻 Black Sesame x Matcha. Their black sesame gelato is one of the best in town. The nutty taste of black sesame was so deep and rich that even a small amount would burst so much flavor in your mouth! They also added chocolate shards into this flavor for texture but seriously, no need!

Then their Matcha Green Tea - oh the perfect combo for the Black Sesame. Bursting with that bitter Matcha taste, I loved that it had the right amount of milk in it. The grassy, earthy flavor was there and I must say that it's really good as well!

The highlight of my Gourmand Market crawl is none other than....(drumroll please)... Manila Creamery!

I finally tried the Black Sesame flavor!  And it is nothing short of awesome!  I've been meaning to try this elusive flavor everytime we visit UPTC.  I had a quick chat with the dude manning the stall,  apparently they can only do one pop-up per week and they might be back at UPTC again next week.

Anyway,  the black sesame gelato is my second best favorite flavor.  My heart still belongs to Mangga at Suman.  This one has a very interesting flavor combination,  you get to tastle subtle hints of sesame, pop rocks and chocolate.  Oddly enough,  the flavors work well together. I like the fact that there a big chunks of semi sweet chocolate.  Each spoonful is a mixture of crunchy and creamy.

Finally!! My bestfriend recommended this place and luckily I was able to pass by their stall in Glorietta!! 128513 What caught my attention is their best seller which is the Mangga't Suman very delish I SWEAR!! 128588🏻 We almost tried all the flavors since the saleslady's too kind to offer us all hihi! 128513

So we had the small cup for 180php because we had two flavors which is half and half one is the Kinder Bueno who doesn't love that? Hmmm. 128522

What I loved about their ice cream is that its thickness as well as the name of their stall which is the word creamery indeed very creamy tho wiee!!

Plus the taste of the Mangga't Suman the suman tastes smoked I don't know but for me its somehow like that plus the suman itself is chewy then the mangga compliments everything plus the latik on top of your ice cream.

I would suggest you try this one out especially to those who are ice cream lovers. I'm sure you'll enjoy their jce cream.

For the price its okay, I'll definitely go back some time again soon to try their other flavors.

There is always room for ice cream. A wise man said.

A meal ain't complete without ice cream. After walking off the calories, we decided to grab some ice cream. Good thing, Manila Creamery is still there. Got the usual, Mangga at Suman for him and Mango Pomelo for me (I was supposed to get Black Sesame but they dont have it) And today is their last day at UPTC.

Mango Pomelo is so good. Creamy, not too sweet and full of flavor. The texture is smooth, like liquid velvet teasing your tastebuds.

Manila Cremery. One of the new players in town. I got to try their infamous Mangga't Suman gelato while i was roaming around Glorietta one Saturday afternoon. True to it's name, this tastes like the local kakanin. Creamy gelato with sticky rice bits and mangoes. One spooful will bring back memories of your childhood.

I always look for their stall whenever i am in Glorietta. What are the odds that i will see them in UPTC? Zero. But the ice cream gods are in my favor! I saw the familiar stall near Lola's. We were stuffed from our sumptuous meal at Alab and the chocolatey dessert from Lucca, but there is always room for ice cream. Too bad they dont have the Black Sesame flavor April H mentioned in her review. We got two cups, Mangga't Suman for him and Ricotta with Walnuts for me (featured in the photo). I love Ricotta cheese, this is a staple in my grocery list. Manila Creamery did a good job in their wicked creation. Tastes just like the real thing. The walnuts adds the crunchy element. Offbeat and interesting flavors - that's Manila Creamery.

Reich T. That is what Carla M. and I were telling you about! 128077🏻
Manila Creamery is a gelato sensation that has been a familiar fixture in many weekend bazaars... It has gained popularity due to its luscious texture and decadent flavors. I was able to try it with the rest of #TeamClingy at the Gourmand Market. They have familiar flavors, such as espresso, vanilla cereal and milk, and pistachio. But they do put a twist to their gelato!

I got to try so many flavors that it was confusing! I like their Mangga't Suman, which is like a frozen rendition of the real thing. Their Cereal and milk gelato is pretty good, but I do prefer BONO's version. But, I finally setteled on their Blueberry cheesecake gelato, which had real bits of cheesecake and graham crust mixed in. Very creamy and enjoyable, especially to someone who loves cheesecake. But my favorite flavor is definitely the Black Sesame! Sesame flavored gelato with dark chocolate bits and pop rocks!128525 Very literally bursting with flavor!

It's amazing that they have already opened a stall in Glorietta, but it's still pretty far! At least you don't have to wait for a weekend market just to get this sweet treat!128522

The next best gelato thing after BONO! Sometimes I prefer MNL Creamery more because of their flavor selection. They've been in Glorietta for quite sometime now and I just love that coz I don't have to wait for another food bazaar to catch them.

So far, I love all the flavors we've tried - Mangga't Suman which really tastes like the real thing even with suman bits! Then there's Pistachio, Vanilla, Dark Chocolate and my favorite of all - Black Sesame and Green Tea!

We spotted them again on a Friday while I was enjoying my date with Cherienne. We tried almost all of their flavors until my daughter decided to get Mango with Pomelo and Bacio. Both were insanely good! Gelato was smooth and thick and creamy. Mango with Pomelo was bursting with the goodness of sweet ripe mangoes and a hint of pomelo. It had chunks of mango cubes and pomelo pieces too. Perfect summer flavor and a dose of fruit goodness too! Bacio was equally good. Chocolatey with lots of nuts. I can't choose which one I liked more 128563

Serving was small though. 2 scoops of gelato in a medium sized cup will set you back at 200Php and their medium size is a bit small for me 128540 Or maybe that's just me coz I love ice cream!

But then again their gelato are so good and you can as well try ALL of the flavors before finally deciding - which we usually do LOL
