I think I've had too much of Mann Hann the past 3 years. I visited San Juan branch a lot of times. My favorite was Bihon soup, Pansit Bihon and Fried Squid head. I still believe that they're undeniably good!

And so it's been a while, hubby and I planned a little something during snack time, so mejo light food lang pwede na...but honestly, look at this serving for P500!!! Yang Chow (small) and Spare Ribs. Good for two?...Nah! Nagmukhang kawawa ang serving! not to mention, it was served after 40 looong minutes!

It's a good thing I just made my Lam Tin review few minutes ago. There's a BIG difference on the serving and lasa too! Tsk tsk....bumabawi ata sila to pay sa ginastos nila sa interiors?!? 🤔

Worst service ever. I have never felt discriminated like this all my life. Dahil ba nakapambahay ako? Yes, I was wearing basic shorts, shirt and slippers. Or maybe dahil Islander ang tsinelas ko? Ah hindi ko na alam why they chose to ignore me. 128532

I was standing in front of the reception waiting for my turn to get waitlisted. Mga around 10minutes na din ako nakatayo dun walang kumakausap sakin. Then came a couple. Tinanong ng reception for how many. I was like "HI!! Kanina pa ko dito hindi nyo ko ineentertain tapos itong bagong dating ieentertain nyo?" sa loob ko lang ah.. I Collected myself and said to the reception: "Miss kanina pa po ako dito." Then nya lang ako ininclude sa waitlist. 128548

Kung hindi lang mapili si wifey sa food that time kanina pa ko umalis.

After a while, the waitress called us in. Ok na daw ang table for two. I was about to go inside when the reception called my attention and asked: "May reservation ba kayo? Or kasama sa loob?". I was like: WHAAAAT?! Take note It's the same person who chose to ignore me and got us waitlisted in the first place. Ang labo. Parang ayaw nila ako dito... 128532

So we were seated and they took our orders. Place was packed for dinner service. So I know it's gonna be a long wait. But since it's Chinese food usually mabilis lang naman.

I told the server to serve our dimsum in advance since always steamed lang naman yun sa kitchen and is always ready available or really quick to heat otherwise.

After 50minutes.. Yes it was actually more. This is rounded down. We were served... Our drinks. Sago Gulaman. WOW! 128079

After another 15 minutes food came one by one.

Can you guess which came out last after another 15mins?

DIMSUM!!! Siomai and Chicken Feet. Slow Clap! 128079

Even the bill came roughly 10mins after requesting for it. Hanep!

The rest of my night was terrible.

Never again.

I've been a fan of Chinese food for the longest time. Mann Hann is one of my favorite quick chinese food restos that I love. It's easy to find, since they are in almost all malls in the metro. :)

Our usual order, Yang Chow Fried Rice, Fish Fillet in Taosi Sauce, Lechon Macau and Sweet and Sout Pork. Yum yum yum. :)

Overall, all their food tastes really good, of course not really authentic chinese food, but nevertheless, it still tastes good.

Best thing is that they serve hot tea for free. Before, it was standard that they give hot tea, recently, I noticed that you need to request it first before they give it to you. |

One of the best yet affordable Chinese restaurant in town. Their Salted fish fried rice, spicy squid, seafood special, sweet and sour fish, Chinese style beef and broccoli flower with garlic is a delish. Must try.

Note:
Do not be confused of Mann hann and Man yann. This two has a different owners and the later is way different when it comes to taste and preparing the food.

It's cheat day! Who cares? I love to eat, especially where it has a super yummy rice on my plate.

The Restaurant: I know some of the Chinese Resto are very loved by the customers. But "Mann Hann" I think for me is the best.

The Menu: "Yang Chow Rice" ooooh I love rice! :) I can eat much much rice plus adding some of my dishes I like, "Lechon Kawali". There was saying in Filipino, "Kilig to the bones!" And it's true! :)) The "Lemon Ice Tea". Love at first sight on their super creative bottle with a long stick for mixing the juice. Ooooh I just like it. 128523128523128523

I know some of you already tried Mann Hann Resto with your family and friends. But, still I would definitely recommend this Resto again to you just to satisfy your craviness!!! Hahaha!

Ordered a lot. Meaning it was too much for the group we can't finish it. Servings were huge and the service was alright. Nothing really special about the food though. But I like it that they serve chinese and filipino dishes. It's kinda weird to eat yang chow with kare kare sauce but it still tasted good. 128513

Food's quality decreased a bit but it's okay for its affordability.

We had the Chilled Tofu and a Broccoli dish. The former was smooth and fine in texture. It was loaded with sliced century egg, surprise surprise! Even if I'm a Chinese, I have never eaten this, as well as Chicken feet, which I am still scared to try.

I am always in a suspicious behavior when eating broccoli dishes since it is the most worm-loaded vegetable, hands down, along with its cousin, cauliflooweh. You would find it funny when you see me eating this, really. 128517128514

I know, this ain't Ongpin chinese food but I've been loving this for a very long time now. I really haven't tried the other things in their menu because I've been ordering my staple food here since years back:

Spicy Squid with the uber-perfect-partner anchovy with calamansi dip, Spicy Spareribs, and Yang Chow.

The squid sliced in bite sizes, dipped in batter and deep-fried has that slight crunch which when partnered with the anchovy sauce or what we familiarly call "bagoong balayan", and with crushed siling labuyo mixed with a slice of squeezed calamansi gave off salty-spicy-savory flavours which was really lip-smackingly divine for me.128522128076128076

Immediately followed up a spoonful of ajinomoto-laden Yang Chow rice and I died in "chinese" heaven. The spicy spareribs, albeit sometimes a bit fatty also was a joy to eat. Crispy, salty, spicy goodness. 128077

Everything downed with an iced-cold fresh lemonade and I left full to the brim. 128077128076

P.S: Yet another badge!!! Wooooot! Chinese Chow Fan Baby! 127881127881127881127881

My favourite Chinese restaurant of all!! Best yang chow rice, hands down!
Their dishes Totally capture the whole oriental feel (on your tastebuds) on how it should be. And it just fits the name perfectly, Man Han Quan Xi, a feast fit for an emperor.;))

Yang chow is really good! I also like the calamares, tasty even without any sauce (just cause i don't like the sauce that comes with it). I just don't know kung ano ang nakaumay sakin, maybe i got overwhelmed by too many foods ordered. I suspect it is the sweet and sour fish because i find it too sweet for my liking. I love their iced tea, right amount of sweetness. They also have a complimentary hot tea while waiting, although you need to ask for it.

Our dinner here at Mann Hann consists of Yang Chow, Tempura, Okiam Chicken, Stuffed Tofu & Binagoongang Baboy which made me and my family pleased to the last bite. 128515128077
