Manong's is one of the best places to hang-out in Alabang. Located among the greens just beside the Filinvest Driving Range, Manong's offers absolutely free parking. Manong's gives you that home away from home feel with their version of great Filipino delicacies. They also have a number of screens in both air conditioned and open areas which can be seen in almost any area in the resto.

Manong's serves the best sisig ever! Crispy, tasty, hindi oily, crispy...crispy...crispy sarap! Still craving for the sisig as I write this review. The pinakbet is also good but I do wish they added more ampalaya (happens to be my 2nd favorite gulay).

Service is very good. Servers are very kind and helpful. Small kids can get busy with coloring while waiting for the food. However, they need to get a new set of crayons for choosy kiddos, since most of the crayons are already used up.

The place is quite huge and can cater to various events. The air conditioned area easily gets full though especially on hot days.

With great food and great service, Manong's has been such a great place for having good food and drinks with your family and friends, that's why I would always recommend!

After the flow with my friends at Slidefest Philippines in Filinvest City, Alabang.1281669728127796 We dined at Manong's Bar & Grill (near the venue of the event). The air-conditioned part of the restaurant was a full house and decided to have a table at their smoking area. Most of the customers were men, maybe the location of the place is right besides the driving range. 🏌9971

We tried the following Pinoy dishes:

Garlic Crispy Pata - 11088110881108811088️ 4/5

Sinampalukang Manok - 1108811088110881108811088️ 5/5

Pork Sisig - 11088110881108811088️ 4/5

Crispy Crablets - 11088110881108811088️ 4/5

Crispy Kangkong - 110881108811088️ 3/5

The servers accommodated us well but they need to improve in settling the billing part (medyo matagal). 128540

Love this place. Classic Alabang watering hole. The grilled seafood is a must. Just had the grilled tuna belly again today paired with sub zero beers. Waiters know your preferences too!

They have one of the best Kare-kare and crispy Pata. Bottomless iced tea ...
Crispy pusit was good too...

I had chicken pops when I first visited and I found that bland.

This is truly Alabang's watering hole. Not one parking slot left open, not one table left vacant! Wow!!!

Surprising though that despite the number of patrons, we could still carry on a conversation over the din of the crowd.

As "pulutan" fare goes, they offer quite an array. With what we ordered though, nothing stood out that was worth writing about. So, I'm zeroing in on the beer.

When they say "sub-zero" they MEAN SUB-ZERO! Those bottles came out nice and frosty on the outside which made the beer really cold and "smooth" inside! Over the common orders of Light, they had Pale and the new Apple and Lemon flavored beer. But the absolute kicker for me was that they had my all time favorite, Cerveza Negra! That beer absolutely tastes fantastic when it's that cold!

Manong's .. I've written you off a couple of times but for some reason I keep coming back. With the Sub-Zero Cerveza Negra, you have totally redeemed yourself! Good job! 128521128521128516

Very cold below zero beer and decent basic Filipino Bar Chow. Chicken wings are greasy but tasty.
