American breakfast! How can somebody finish a 4-6 pile of pancakes per serving? Unless you're very hungry or you share it to someone. 128514

Anyways, the place is nice. The food is good. The crews and service are fast. Not complaining for their pricey foods since the servings are good for GIANTS! 128517

Our last stop before going to the airport for our flight back home. Brunch it is.

We browsed through their menu and they were actually pricey compared to other eating places in the mall. We sampled their Prime Rib Tapa, well done because I like it really cooked. The beef was oh so tender and flavorful, there was an obvious hint of herbs and spices which bring out the delicious taste of the meat. Served with garlic herb rice and sunny side up egg.

The pile of 6 american style pancakes bathed in generous amount of blueberry sauce topped with a scoop of butter and dripping with sugary maple syrup was drool-worthy. Sweet and buttery. Just what i love about Pancakes.

Maybe pricey but it is worth the try. Till my next vacation. See you again Maple!

I had nothing to do on my last day in Cebu. I already checked out of the hotel and my flight was delayed and was scheduled to depart at 10:30PM.

I went back to Ayala and decided to watch a movie. While waiting for the screening time, I figured to get a cup of coffee.

Got myself a cup of capuccino. They offer baked cookie on skillet and thought that it would go well with my coffee.

Their capuccino was okay. The baked cookie was delicious, soft and chocolatey however it was uber sweet. I only ate half of it.

If it weren't for their overpriced food, I'd eat here on a regular basis. Their an american homey style restaurant that serves miniature proportions of food that's overpriced. We ordered the club house sandwich which was pretty good but really it was pretty small for about 400 pesos. Their Huevos rancheros and steak and eggs are probably the only ones I'd go back for. The mac n cheese is delicious. Well who doesn't enjoy mac n cheese anyway. Their food is good it's just that they're overpriced for home-style cooking with small servings.

So finally went back to this place after 2 months to sample their blueberry pancake tower which was not available last time. The Pile of 6 american style pancakes bathed in generous amount of blueberry sauce topped with a scoop of butter and dripping with sugary maple syrup was all I need to start my night shift right. Hahaha

The Maple Burger too was juicy and satisfying. It was stuffed with 100% pure beef patty, lettuce, fresh slices of tomatoes, melted cheese and topped with slabs of crispy premium bacon. It comes with pickles, onion rings and tasty fries.

A bit expensive though but hey it's alright to reward ourselves for erm just for the reward sake. Hahaha.

Eggs Benedict was pretty creative. Instead of an English muffin, they use the top of a crusty croissant.i didn't care much for the lettuce in between but the egg yolk ran out perfectly when broken and the hollendaise sauce wasn't too hard or runny. The prosciutto was very good.

The pancakes and maple syrup on the other hand was better looking than it tastes. The cakes were bland, almost salty, firm not fluffy, and very dry. Even with the blueberry it wasn't moist enough and there was little cream cheese.

Iced tea's orange peel makes it tastes sweeter and so much better. Blueberry and I can't remember what else was in there was warm, sweet, and like being engulfed in a loving embrace. Best I think has to be the Eggs Benedict, I mean the egg did that spreading of the yolk thing and went perfectly with the holandaise sauce (did I spell that right?) oh and did I mention all these were in huge servings? If not for the price I would make this an everyday place to breakfast or brunch but for now it would be a place definitely to return to on a payday and try out the other yummies on the menu. ;)

This American Restaurant is absolutely pricey. Hahaha. The food service is a bit too lengthy though service crew were all smiles and responsive.

We would have tried their other offerings but unfortunately they are still on a limited menu. So we tried their Prime Rib Tapa which never failed to make an impression. I preferred it well done instead of the usual medium rare because I like my food really cooked. Hahaha. The beef was deliciously tender and you can taste the herbs and spices in every bite.

The only pasta available too was the Clam Agli Olio minus the clams but was substituted by salmon because they also ran out of clams. What's happening? Hahaha. So we ordered that since we have no choice. The taste was bland for me or perhaps I was disappointed because there's no clam. Hahaha.

No other drinks available too except for the shakes and smoothies which is honestly an odd pair for my red meat but we survived. Hahaha.

It's a good thing I ordered their Bourbon Bread Pudding because it made our dining experience worthwhile. Hahaha. The bread was bursting with happiness that my smile became bigger and bigger after eating greedily every spoonful of this sweet gastronomic treat. Hahaha.

I promise to come back and hope they already have what is written on their menu. Hahaha.

I'd only go back for the pancakes and bacon. Otherwise, forget it.

Service was so-so. Everything else we ordered didn't impress — taste was just not there and everything on the menu was expensive for the kind of food that they were.

Not worth it. Probably stick to homegrown, tested and proven Cebu eats like Fudge, Cafe Georg, and Oh Georg!
