There’s really nothing that special or grandiose with the space that this hotel occupies. But Marco Polo Ortigas is a testament that excellent service could make the difference. Though it was an evening arrival at the hotel, the courteous and attentive service was evident from making the way to check-in to handling of luggage to the car hours after checkout.

The appreciation of Marco Polo Ortigas actually started way before the appearance at the hotel. Based on experience, it’s wise to do direct booking with Marco Polo Ortigas — one can see the presentation and availability of the various stay packages and the efficiency of the hotel reservations, both online and on the phone. Rates and policies (e.g. cancellation) were already quite clear at the onset.

The rooms and amenities themselves are pretty amazing. The high floors are best since Marco Polo Ortigas offers sweeping views of the Rizal-Pasig area. The hotel’s Lung Hin and Cucina restaurants are within reach, in case you’re not opting for room service. The pool and jacuzzi surprisingly are indoors, both heated and near sofa chairs stacked readily with towels. The spa and gym are conveniently adjacent to one another. The spa has very good massage and spa options (though a bit on the expensive side), and a comforting complementary tea, which is probably the best lemongrass-infused drink I’ve ever had. The gym is quite cozy, but is open 24/7, with a trainer/staff on standby during regular hours. Beside the spa and gym is a well-equipped (and I mean, the kind wherein I could spend a whole afternoon in) locker room and sauna.

The hiccups in this otherwise flawless stay might be towards the end, when the noise from nearby establishments became a little more audible and when one of the security guards violated protocol when he asked for the room number. Ultimately, however, the latter was addressed and the highly satisfactory service overwhelmed, consistent with the reviews. I could definitely say that signing up with the hotel group membership in the past was definitely worth it.

Rewarded myself with a quick staycation at Marco Polo Hotel Manila.

The hotel is located at the congested part of Ortigas. Traffic is heavy during peak hours albeit the upscale tower. Marco Polo is standing 45-floor high with high end facilities and modern rooms. Booked a Deluxe Room for P5500 with breakfast for two.

Rooms are elegantly designed with monochromatic tones and classy furnitures. It is warmly lit setting a calm mood for the guests. The bath room is luxe and sleek with a marble bath tub.

Amenities include the indoor lap pool at the 22nd floor overlooking ortigas skyline. A jacuzzi and sauna is also for the exclusive use of guests.

The hotel boasts the top-floor bar, Vu sky lounge. It opens from 5pm to 2am serving food and cocktails. If you’re not into late night drinks and prefers to workout anytime, the Fitness Center is open for 24hours.

Breakfast at Cucina is memorably satisfying. There is a wide range of food selection. Be it a business-related stay or leisure time with family or friends, Marco Polo is a top-notch choice in Ortigas district.

Marco Polo Manila Ortigas is a fiercely 5 star 11088️ hotel!!!

They're with clear effort of telling people we are of class and is leading the best customer service for all other hotel to follow. The view was stunning and service was great.

It was luxe staycation last Weekend in Marco Polo Ortigas with my friends. This place will welcome you with smell of freshness and cleanliness. Upon check-in, key card will be provided for access in the elevator going to rooms.

We occupied their Superior Room at the 41st floor (35-55 sqm). The room has a minimalist earth tone design. It has 2 Queen Size beds, in-room safe, Executive Desk, LCD coloured TV, Nespresso coffee machine, breakfast nook. The bed is super comfy with fluffy pillows & quilt!

Of course, how can I forget. This hotel has impressive bathroom. Its spacious, it has marble bathtub, and rainshower. Robes were provided, and toilettries are provided.

Verdict: 5-star hotel. Yes! Quality service and room. A nice place to relax and unwind. Just a comment to their bathroom: No bidet128531

Awarded with a five-star rating from Forbes Travel Guide, your stay here would truly be world-class. Even though we had a minor problem, they handled it with such finesse and professionalism that no wonder they got that rating! This staycation was very timely and needed for me. I was actually sick back then and was advised by the doctor to rest. So imagine my excitement when we finally got to the room and saw that majestic white bed. Ughhh…it was just so comfy there. I wanted to snuggle up and cover myself in those comfy white sheets. As for the room, it was really modern and sleek. I liked how the interiors exude this sense of elegance yet making it comfortable.

Top class hotel , check in at 24th floor and parking behind at sapphire street, indoor pool is small though , food is not bad at continental club. The coffee shop at the ground floor is good. Try the ham sandwich .

Pre booked a month early to surprise the wifey's birthday/Valentine's day. On the day itself we noticed more than 3 guests who arrived later than us already had rooms. After patiently waiting for more than an hour I followed up the status. For the second time they mentioned the room was being "cleaned." They even had the nerve to give us twin beds instead of the already promised King Size bed. As the bubble popped, I had to look for a Manager. The lady infront of me never got back to me and had to search for assistance from other colleagues. When a Supervisor saw my frustration and disappointment hehehe then helped me with my concern. I said I was looking for a Manager but he said that she was busy and asked me what was going on. I mentioned that I pre booked a month ago and that we still don't have a room after an hour (and revealed that guests who arrived later than us have rooms). He apologized and upgraded us to a suite but no explanation was made why guests had rooms when in fact we were earlier and had pre booked a month ahead.

The buffet was nothing to brag about either. Most of the meat was tough and the bangus salty. We had to ask certain utensils and my kid was not given a glass for drinks. Such a shame that such a lush exterior and interior and yet their staffs are so inept with their duties. Why give guests (especially first timers) a hard time in checking in and out (the lady let me sign forms one by one. Why not everything at once? Where is the efficiency?. Saddened by this and we have been in various hotels, none of which we had to follow up for something or wait for more than an hour.

Overall, mediocre service and an average breakfast buffet doesn't do justice to the plush designs.

One of the newest hotels so it'a very clean and the sheets are super white. I like how their nurse assisted us because my boyfriend has burns from a previous accident. They put medicines and cleaned the wound for free!

This is really my favorite hotel ATM... I even insisted that my aunt, uncle, and cousins stay here during their visit in Manila... But this review is for our 3-day staycation over the holidays...

Sadly, our schedules could not permit us to avail of the free second night stay promo from Dec 28-30... We only had time right after Christmas...128546 Oh well...

But the hotel was brimming with people when we checked-in... Full to capacity, according to the staff... We felt it whenever we waited for the elevators going to the guest rooms. 128513

Their rooms are so luxurious for me... I love the bed, the TV, the marble bathrooms, and the tub! Yey!128525 You really feel like you have left all the stressors behind!128077

Their spa, gym, and pool are all on the same floor... Their gym may be small, but they have varied equipment and personal trainers on standby... They also serve blended juice here, if you are in a healthy mood...

They have an indoor pool, which was cold for me... I like their jacuzzi over to one side with hot water-- more my speed! The lounge is equipped with a sauna, clean showers, and lockers for your belongings... Just ask the reception area for the key...128522

The only thing I don't like is the confusing parking lot, but hey, it's not like you will be staying there for long... Plus, even if their parking lot was full, they still gave us a complementary parking pass at a nearby lot... And apologized for the inconvenience. That's worldclass service! Please take note F1 (you suck forever)...

Celebrated our company Christmas party in this venue yesterday. The venue is great! But the food:

Food
Buffet style.
The taste? Not so flavorful and special. Overall quality deteriorated compared when they newly opened.

Service
Fair.

Cleanliness
Fair.

Price
Not applicable because the company paid for.

Stayed here for a couple of nights already and I have to say it's now my favorite hotel in Ortigas (possibly in Metro Manila).

Hotel's fairly new, the interiors are lovely and view is amazing (rooms start at the high floors). Nespresso machine inside each room, TV/Radio pipes in the bathroom, Gym (trainer is available for your use) and Pool areas are good (don't forget to use the sauna and steam room). Breakfast buffet has a lot of choices --- filipino, continental, and even indian stations. Service is excellent!

Valet parking is available but has a 100 service charge every time you ask them to get/park the car.

My default place for Staycation!

The boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay here. Can't find anything negative to say, our room was just perfect. I love how the bathroom was designed to have a glass wall, just beside the bed. Really spacious and comfortable. Can't complain with their food too. Our breakfast buffet was equally satisfying. I love their breads and jams.

They have the fastest free wifi ever! This is one good reason why I gave 5 stars. Not to mention that the room is soooo spacious and the beds are comfortable, plus the fact that it comes with free nespresso coffees which I think is really posh, also the comfort room is really spacious and that they have speaker inside that is connected to the TV that I can still hear the episode of "maalaala mo kaya" while doing number 2 like in glorietta cinemas 128513

Will be back here again? Definitely! 128527128077🏻

Dear |looloo, it's been too long. But now that I've found some free time after the wedding (to Regine E... So it should be Regine C now hehe 128522) here are a few reviews!

For our wedding preparations, we decided to stay at Marco Polo because of its proximity to Christ the King, and because of all the special rates we got with the MPM Dining Privilege Membership.

Their service was excellent. We were coming here as early as January this year to book rooms for July, and they accommodated each of our changes willingly. All our family members were on the same floor, and they even let us have some photoshoots in the public areas.

On the night of the wedding, they gave us a chocolate cake and white wine, and even had some special arrangements on the bed (seen: heart arrangement made of blankets). The rooms were very spacious and felt really luxurious. Marco Polo was really able to make our special day even more special! The food was great too, but more of that in other reviews.

I still have some coupons left, and will probably use them up before the year ends. I'm that happy with Marco Polo, and would happily recommend them to anyone!

I live nearby but I'm sleeping here tonight because I wanna be Fancy like Iggy Azalea. (Cue: I'm so fancy.. You already know..)

Okay seriously though, i'm here because the fam has vouchers because we bought a membership. I was apprehensive about this place before but now I have absolutely no regrets this place is amazing. The facilities are new which is always a plus. The views are spectacular. The rooms, hallway and lobby smell so nice. I wish I could live here.

I'm not gonna lie. I've always thought Marco Polo ortigas is in a strange location. Centrally located but not quite. The driveway alone is a crowded, difficult mess. The area, not walkable at night. Can't conveniently just cross to metrowalk. Walking to other establishments can be tricky if you don't know the area, luckily we do. I live nearby.

But we came for a staycation and I'll give credit where credit is due: the rooms are nice, the view is killer (if you can get an outward view), the service is good and I found their internet to be fast. So the hotel alone, liked! 4stars.
