A good place to find yummy Pinoy dishes home-cooked style. The place is standing room only at lunch time as it is quite popular among the office workers in the Ortigas area. I loved their pinakbet topped with lechon kawali. Really nice! One thing I didn't like though was that the resto plays really loud music. We had to request them to tone it down just so we can have a conversation.

Word of caution: dont eat here if you're only on a 1-hour lunch break. Service is really slow, took a long while for our orders to arrive. In fact, it hasnt improved at all since my last visit.

We ordered:
Pinakbet with Lechon Kawali
Chicharon Bulaklak

Food was ok and servings are good for sharing.

Hope the improve their sliw service.

Me an my lunch date, my friend wanted to try something new along Ortigas and we decided to try this Filipino Cuisine "Maria's which is located at the Ground Floor, Eton Emerald Loft, Garnet Street Corner F. Ortigas Jr, Ortigas, Pasig City

The interiors look exquisite and with all the liquors and televisions on display, it seemed like a restobar. It is open 24 hours so it may be a good place to hang out anytime of the day.

With 10% service charge

My friend ordered Bagnet with Pinakbet - 180Php only - she said that she likes it and the rice is yummy 128523128077🏻

I ordered Sizzling Bangus with sunny side up egg - 180Php - 128523128077🏻 I loved it because it was served hot.

They have promo rice meals and dishes that are good for sharing.128523128077🏻

No complaints from me and my friend but no praises either. We both agreed that we loved the fried rice. I think we'd probably go back to try some of their food.

Food was below average. It was just like cafeteria-food. We ate here for lunch (a friday-lunch out) and we waited 45mins for the food. Maybe dinner time is better; place has a good ambiance.

Great ambience! Great food! Great staff..very accomodating... Too bad I wasn't able to take a pitcure of our food because we were excited to eat the food right away...Gutom much!... We had Corned beef kare kare and Marias 1/4 Fried chicken. Loved the tenderness of the meat. The rice was tasty as well. Most of all, the value for money of the food was spot on. Hehe.. Definitely will be coming back.

Filipino comfort food at it's finest! Their Darling Tapa is among my faves! Try their sari-sari breakfast meal (tapa, espada, salinas tinapa and longganisa with 2 eggs and sinangag)... a group of 3-4 pax would greatly enjoy feasting on this.

This is a relatively new place in my parents' hood and we had dinner here twice in the past month. The place is open 24/7 and serves a wide range of food and drinks. They have promo rice meals and dishes that are good for sharing. On both visits, we went with the promo rice meals.

On the table
🔹Maria's 1/4 Fried Chicken
🔹Maria's Crispy Home-made Bacon - this was too hard to chew, nothing special taste wise.
🔹Adobo Flakes
🔹Beef Tenderloin Tapa
🔹Grilled Sausages (Chicken & Beef)
🔹Lechon Kare-kare - sauce was bland but the salty bagoong made up for it. I found it weird that there were carrots and bell peppers. I usually see these mixed in with Kaldereta.
🔹Strawberry Margarita
🔹Calamansi Juice - very comforting especially when you are under the weather

No complaints from the fam but no praises either. We all agreed that we loved the fried rice. I think we'd probably go back when we can't decide on where to eat since some of their dishes aren't available in the nearby fastfood joints.

I just had to sign in and post a review because I was really disappointed with the experience.

We just ate here for lunch.
Ordered Fried Chicken (P170) which tastes just like the ones you can cook at home (even better), and the meat was forgettable.
Beef Pares (P180) had lots of chopped ginger which overpowered the taste of the very few thin pieces of beef.

Subpar food for the price.
Slow serving time (30+ minutes).
Their credit card device was not working.
One waiter wasn't very polite in taking our orders and wasn't apologetic that their cc reader is not functioning.
Poor ventilation, as I was sweating beads while eating my Pares, and also, we went out smelling like sizzled food.

Not recommended. Eat somewhere else. There are loads of options nearby.

The best place to have that much sought Filipino comfort food! My usual would be the lechon kawali that comes with rice and egg, free soup and extra rice! I love pairing it with their fresh, ripe mango shake. :) The homemade bacon was good too, as well as its daing na dangit, pusit, and spada. Even the sides and appetizers are made with love, and so is the food's presentation. :) I also appreciate the staff's warm, enthusiastic service, especially those who work from night 'til dawn. It's 24 hours by the way, Thank God! It is such a relief for night crawlers like me who are stuck with the usual fast food outlets in Ortigas. The place is clean, the ambiance, very laid back and cozy, with the high rise chairs and tables, plus the number of tv sets surrounding us. :) Last but not the least, it's not pricey!!! :) I will keep on coming back. :)
