So my college bestfriend came back from Dubai with her Sri Lankan Boyfie. We let them decide where to go and what to eat, knowing that they might want something new or diff. So the Boyfrie goes with this resto. He ordered almost half of everything from the menu.. wtf. All I remember is that Beb died with her extra rice order with that size good for--i dont know, four??! 128513 And the noodles they ordered is to die for! Can't really remember the name. 128541 We did booze and BJ shots too. 128541

Had a quickie lunch yesterday.

Grilled Liempo - 128078 took awhile before it was served. Meat was a tough, your fork & spoon arent enough to break them to smaller pieces unlike other liempos. The sawsawan was ok

Pinakbet - 128077this was good. It was full of bagoong flavor (which i like) and the veggies were not mushy.

They were giving out flyers on their oysters promo, php27/10pcs. But the catch was you can avail the php27 price for a minimum bill of php1000. Labo.

Regular oder of their oysters is at php400. More expensive than the other restos. 128078

Service was slow. Only 1 waiter during sunday lunch. The place was a bit hot, not all aircons were turned on, they were making tipid which i dont understand since there were guests. You make tipid when there are no guests dining.

Not going back here.

We ordered seafood noodles and chicken & ribs with soup and iced tea included. For my drinks, sago and gulaman.

The crew ask us to transfer to another table. Because there was a reservation made on the table that we occupied.
They served the seafood noodles first - taste good after almost 25 mins they served the chicken and ribs with rice but without the soup. They only give us the soup since we remember in the menu that there's a free batchoy soup. 128078 we return also the chicken and have it cooked again because we see some blood inside it. Eew... Nakakawalang gana kumain. Unfairness, at the end the manager gave us free fruit dessert to compensate with their bad service. I will never come back again.

We ordered baked oysters, grilled tuna belly, crispy pata, calamares and gambas.

All was good except for the gambas.

Service was poor.

One of my favorite places when I crave for baked or grilled oysters!

I never had any stomach problems when I get it from any Marina branch. Which is important because we all know how risky it is to eat oysters when its not prepared properly! 128522

They also have pork Sisig that can match the ones they make at Gerry's Grill. This along with Crispy Pata and garlic fried rice makes Marina one of my favorite "pig out mode" spots that is safe, good service, and affordable. 128541

Very tasty adobong kangkong! Their menu is composed of the usual seafood soup, grilled, fry etc.

Be warned though with the dreaded entrance! 3 unsuspecting customers almost fell-face-flat on the floor!

If you're on a budget but want to eat heartily, Marina is a good enough alternative to Something Fishy. For 169php for the buffet, the limited menu of breakfast dishes from pancakes to chicken adobo is warm and tasty enough to fill your stomach.
