We came here in Marina Sea View for dinner before we wrap up our short Downtown Cebu roadtrip. We’re actually opting for the Bucket Shrimps but the place was packed that night, so we settled here since it has a much quiet ambiance where we can chat clearly.

Place has some really good interiors – as if you’re inside a hotel lobby. It has some sophisticated vibe in warm dim lights which actually gives you a steep impression for the restaurant. You’d also be treated with some spectacular view of the sea and everything nice around like some yachts and the bridge connecting Mactan to the rest of Cebu province. They’re playing some nice mix of tunes from jazz, classical, and some oldies when we checked in.

We were warmly welcomed by their staff with a greeting and a smile. We’re also served some bread while still deciding which food to try from their menu.

For the appetizers, we got Buttered Baked Scallops and Marina Sinuglaw. Their special sinuglaw is good; a dish composed of pork belly and fish ceviche and then soaked in vinegar which was derived from two famous cooking methods in Visayas - the Sinugba and Kinilaw. Buttered baked scallops is a pure gift of heaven. Aside from the sinful goodness of the scallops, I really love the creamy sauce on top of it.

For the main course, we had two orders of Chicken Cordon Bleu, and Buttered Fish Fillet with garlic.

I love chicken cordon bleu and I've tried a lot of this especially when friends are cooking for a party. But I had a bit of mixed feelings with their take on this delicious dish. It’s quite dry and bland for my taste. Although the gravy would be ideal, but I think, white sauce was the best to pair with this dish.

Buttered Fish Fillet with garlic was also good. I only tried a few of this and quite loved the buttered fish fillet which I think was also one of the best one from our table.

The Premium Back Ribs is definitely one of my favorites among the others! I really love the kick of the BBQ sauce which has some hints of spices in it. It's totally good and it’s pretty affordable too!

And for the last one, we had Crispy Pata! Well who doesn’t love Pork knuckles? I love it that it’s not that greasy but not dry. Aside from it being crispy all through out, it's also delicious because... it's crispy pata! 128514 Simot-sarap ‘to aside from the ribs and chicken cordon bleu.

Serving is good for 2 – 3 persons if you’re getting more than 2 dishes from their menu. Price is surprisingly not expensive, despite the ambiance of the place and just by judging it from the outside.

Overall, food is good and we have enjoyed most of the dishes we had. Would totally recommend this place if you’re opting for a spectacular view while enjoying some good yet affordable food with your family and friends here in Cebu!
