If this review will be solely based on this picture maybe it deserves 4 stars but whatbis important is the taste. Sadly, Market on 5th Ave. proved to be a disaster. I was craving for a good congee and thought that this place will provide me the much needed upliftijg before my check up. What I ordered os pork with century egg congee that cost 175.00 per order. I also ordered tokwa't baboy to accompany my congee. When the orders arrived it looks good so I took a picture but when i tasted it everything came crashing down. First the congee. Their best seller comes with 2 little slices of century egg 2 big slices of pork that's very hard to chew even if i have strong set of teeth and freah egg. The taste was a real disaster. I don't know if it's bland or salty or what. If i followed my gut feel, Chowking congee is way better or lugawan sa kanto is way way better than this 175.00 ripped off. Now for the tokwa't baboy. It taste ok normal nothing special except the price it's worth 130 pesos per order. Tomorrow i will be back in St. Luke's but never again will i set foot in this resto.

Pricey! A bit steep for the type of food they are serving.

Couldn't choose from the different stations and long menu's. I finally decided to order sizzling burger steak, only to find it would take 15 - 20 mins 128532. Since I was super hungry and in a rush, I went for the market on 5th avenue noodle soup which is apparently a best seller.
Different types of meat, veggies and noodles. Taste is ok, but was expecting more for php 195.
Food here is typical food you'd find else where - just more expensive.
The interior is nice though 128521.

Looked like food here is good but when I look at it again it looks like hospital food. The chopsuey was okay. The liempo was not. So chewy but it was tasty. I also had the yema cake which is on the side of the photo. Nothing spectacular. The sponge was dry as well as the filling. 128078

Tried having their Siopao Bola Bola and Asado. I liked Bola2 more. The Asado has a bit strong taste and too much food coloring i think. I have tasted too much Star Anis too! But thankful of course for this free Merienda128539

My first try of their Ham and cheese sandwich at 175 pesos. Super thin toasted bread with mayo, lettuce and tomato. Tastes just okay to me. 128522

Cannot choose among the long list of Menu that they have. It was easy for me to get this Skinless Longganisa and so i did. It tastes so-so. Nothing special...it also took a while to serve it. 128542

A bit pricey i think for 175.00. Better for me to have a sandwich next time. 128523

Ordered the lechon Macau toppings and the meat and skin were too tough to chew. There's a tremendous amount of fat on the slices as well. All in all, half of the lechon slices left on the plate.

We were really looking for somewhere new to have breakfast at. We suddenly drove by St. Luke's and thought of eating at Market on 5th Avenue.

Decided to order Crispy Tapa with Egg, surprised that it costs 190 but gave it a chance though. The order came and it wasn't really what I expected. Nothing was remarkable with the tapa, it says Crispy yeah but it's just Crispy! Plus the small bottle of water costs 60 pesos.

Well if you're looking for some quiet place to dine at without looking for any food that's worth craving for but money is not an issue, this is indeed a good place. PLus you can just go across Bizu or Mary Grace for desserts!

This is a recommendation for the Mayo Lovers Club, if there even is one.

I looked at Starbucks first and the price of their sandwiches are now 140-180. Craving for more meat I moved back to Market and decided to try this sandwich for the same price.

Mas sulit in size and filling compared to a Starbucks sandwich. Too much mayo for me though.

This is the hospitals high end carinderia. They serve simple food. They have Filipino and Chinese food and a sandwich/salad station.

Me and my husband are not big on rice but bitin their fried rice on the photo. Had to order an extra one to share.

If you want more affordable they have a canteen at the 5th floor frequented mostly by employees.

Yang chow and lechon macau this time. my usual lunch or dinner place whenever i go to St. Lukes BGC for my regular PT rehab sesh (which btw atleast 2x a week). I dont know why coz even they're a bit pricey for a home-cooked type of meals, i still come back over and over. I just love it here! Food is great!

Price wise it was a bit on the high side considering the food was more like canteen food.
