We ordered 3 types of food. Carbonara was not that good. It was just creamy and kinda bland. The Spaghetti meatballs and Buffalo wings are good.

Been seeing this Mary Thomas Kitchen (MTK) everytime I'm in Robinsons Metro East and I only got to try it today.

I like the cozy ambience inside as well as their furnitures. They have different menus however, a lot is not available.

My sister and I ordered chicken parmigiana and carbonara for dinner. The chicken parmigiana comes with side salad (mixed cucumber, carrots, lettuce and mayo) and a glass of iced tea. While the carbonara comes with a slice of garlic buttered bread.

Chicken parmigiana - the taste is okay, nothing special but the size is just right. I'd rather go to Bannapple for an order, however, it MTK's cheaper. Each order is single served only.

Carbonara - the creaminess and taste are just right, and I simply liked it.

Returning? Yes, to try their other menu.

My BF and I usually have coffee when we go out no matter what our other plans are.

We were at Rob Metro East and we were too lazy to go to Starbucks at Sta. Lucia. So we decided to look for a place we can have a cappuccino in the mall where we already were. That's how we found Mary Thomas.

What was inviting about the cafe was the ambience. Good lighting - not too dim, not too bright. It's a small cafe but it's not crowded. Plus, the prices are okay. Coffee's nearly the same as the bigger, more popular coffee shops but at a lower cost.

We'll definitely go back!

Another spontaneous date for me and the boyfriend this rainy Friday!

He finally agreed to eat at Mary Thomas Kitchen today. He ordered a T-bone steak and I had Chicken Cordon Bleu. The steak was better than I remembered and the Cordon Bleu was just right.

We were the only people there and the waitress was really attentive. Although I didn't like that the couches were too low that it made it a bit difficult to eat. The ambience in this place was better although there wasn't any music playing.

For dessert I had a slice of chocolate Fudge cake that was just all right.

We paid 400+ today. Well spent. :)
