Don't let the exterior fool you, Masarap Korean Restaurant is 'masarap' nga talaga haha. They're actually a Korean meatshop with a grill beside it... a positive sign I take as these guys must know their meat.

No frills samgyeopsal (pork belly) and woo samgyeop (beef belly) on a friendly budget. Good cuts, well prepared, along with some awesome banchan. Their steaming egg in a pot side dish (아이고... forgot the Korean term -_-) is one of the better one's I've tried along Aguirre.

If you love Korean bbq, you'll know why it's Masarap (okay, enough with the puns).

Masarap talaga sa Masarap! Sam won is 'closed for renovation' so they say but the buzz is the staff went on hiatus 128561 heartache if they close completely!
Anyways, was craving for Korean food so we headed over to Masarap for our early dinner. This time we got beef, ribeye and pork. 2 servings of rice. The ate today was really attentive and nice. She cooked everything well and refilled our leaves, egg and soup quickly!
Everything was good especially the ribeye. I also like the steamed egg.
Bill was a little over 1k for the both of us. Umm Ang dami kse naming in order 128513
They just really need to fix up the outside of the place though!

Service was efficient and the menu's pretty straightforward. Just pick among their options for pork and beef and the wait staff will cook it for you on their stovetop grill. The banchan that came with our orders were just average, nothing really stood out for me. The miso soup was a tad salty for my liking. Their price point is quite affordable so I suppose that makes up for it.

Don't expect much of an ambiance as the place is very spartan. It is, after all, a meat shop with an option to dine in.

Would've given this a higher rating if it weren't for the baby roaches on the table AND in their ice cream freezer.

I don't think we'll be back.

It's my third time to eat at Masarap since my first review and it just keeps getting better, no joke! Haha! Dined with my family this time and we ordered 2 beef samgyeupsal, 1 pork and 1 ribeye. 5 bowls of rice (which was too much) and 2 drinks. Total bill was 1920 with two seniors. Not bad at all!
Ate waitress was very efficient in cooking and serving the food. They were also very observant in refilling the side dishes.

Bit the bullet and tried MASARAP even though it's right beside Sam won! True to it's name, MASARAP nga! 128514
Nakaka pag dalawang Isip Lang at first cos bodega look talaga, very very bare. Menu is mostly meat, no noodles, bibimbap etc. we decided to get an order of pork and an order of beef and 2 cups of rice. Very generous side dishes! The soup and steamed egg were amazing! Btw not all restos have steamed egg 128077
The ate will cook the meat for you on tabletop sets. Just missing that charcoal flavor pero ok narin. It's really good, nakakatuwa. And we only spend pho720! Grabe if we had spent what we did in bulgogi brothers, fiesta na yun! Will definitely go back 128522

I've been waiting to try this for so long and yesterday I had a chance. Its all good, though the price has been updated. It went up a bit. The cheapest per head now is P250 for pork and P330 for beef. My son is my partner when it comes to food. The beef for 330 was good enough for the two of us.

My go-to place when I crave for Korean BBQ. I love that the place is very low key yet it gives me a very authentic Korean dining feels. For first timers, it might be a little hard to notice this place when driving along Aguirre cos of their poor signage, look for pan de manila instead and you're there.

I strongly recommend my all time favorite, very tender and tasty Gojuchang Samgyupsal. The servers are courteous and very good its like they have mastered the art of cooking Korean bbq already. Unlimited rounds of side dishes include lettuce, seasoned leeks idk how its called, sesame leaves, garlic, boiled scrambled egg, pickle soup, kimchi, bean sprouts etc etc will surely make you full, your 200-ish budget per head is so worth it. Most of the diners are Koreans, somehow it might give you a feeling like you are actually in Korea while inside. Lol.

PS- I couldn't find a photo from my phone so please excuse the one I got here, this is just a screenshot from an Instagram video I posted before.9996️Joesonghabnida.

The perfect go-to place for when you're craving korean food and are on a tight budget. The interior and exterior of the place is plain and its pretty easy to miss, but the food is a must try! For 180, you could go home with a happy tummy since they offer unlimited sides. Sulit! 128076

Has the best meat. Even though it looks a bit sketchy, it's a must try. I highly recommend it.
