My new favorite Korean place!!! 128525

First off, the parking space was heaven sent. It was spacious and FREE! So that's one less thing to worry about. The servers were also accommodating, but it's quite hard to get them to refill our side dishes.

This is the restaurant with the most side dishes I've ever seen (refer to picture), and the picture doesn't even include the spicy soup, steamed egg, and pancake. 128561 my favorite side dishes were:

Steamed egg - it kind of tasted like balut. 128523
Pickled raddish - it was good to put in your samgyupsal
Spicy seaweed - seaweed that had kimchi-like spices
Soup - yummy and spicy, with tofu cubes and some veggies
Spinach - garlicky and tasty

Kimchi - it was good too, but they served it super cold, like it came straight from the freezer

We also ordered:
Mini Bibim Naengmyon (180 PHP) - Cold noodles with spicy sauce. Veggies, half a boiled egg and a piece of beef wqs included. It was my first time to try cold Korean noodles, and I loved it! The noodles were delightfully springy and al dente. The sauce was sour, sweet and spicy. The dish was so refreshing. I imagine it'll be a perfect dish for the hot summer season. Must try!!! Forgive me for the picture, I already mixed the dish before I took a photo. I was super excited to try it!

Sam Gyeop Sal (330 PHP) - Unlike other sam gyeop sals in other Korean restaurants, these were cut a bit thick. It reminded me of liempo but the taste was simple and clean. I could tell they use high quality meat. It was also not too oily.

Chadol-bagi (390 PHP) - These were thin strips of unmarinated beef. I found it just okay, and a bit dry. Maybe the server overcooked it.

The prices in Masil are quite high, we spent 900 for a meal for two, but you do get what you pay for. The high quality of meat and the numerous side dishes makes it all worth it! 128077

I loved my experience in Masil.

They have got tons of parking space which is a thumbs up for me!

The moment you walk in is just wow. There is this short but lighted up walk way that will lead you to its entrance. The resto is hella huge, btw. There are two entrances. To the left and to the right. The even have an al fresco area for those who wanna eat out.

We ordered samgyupsal ( pork ) , LA beef, jap chae , bimbimbap, beef stew

Prices were a bit high but you get what you pay for. Food is definitely good. Plus there are unli side dishes!

I hope to come back for more korean goodness!

Still the best korean restaurant in the area for me.

Some places have good meat but no so good sides - and vice versa. This place have the best of both.

A dinner for two will set you back about a grand, but you'll definitely leave with a smile and full tummies!

Always been a fan of korean cuisine. For me, Masil gave the best most authentic korean food here in the metro. They have great service and you will find yourself so full and it doesnt even cost that much ;)

My all time favorite korean food is, Kimchi Jigae. Some korean restaurant dont offer jigaes so im always crossing them out pn my list of korean restaurant. Masil serves authentic Kinchi Jigae and it is always part of my menu when im dining here.

Downside only is the my sister's fave dukkbokki ( wish im correct in my spell.. hehe) is not on the menu.

But overall, Masil is my go to place when im hungry for Korean food :)

One of the best places for korean food in the metro. Good quality meat, banchan, and service.

What i personally like with this place is they give you free side orders when you order their main dishes. Today we got steamed egg and spicy tofu soup for ordering three kinds of meats - and thats on top of the appetizers that we got.

I was craving for Korean BBQ and Mika B recommended this and I'm glad this is where we had dinner! 128588🏼 the side dishes were awesome and wait for it.. UNLIMITED! I could live on the side dishes alone!!! They had this egg side dish thing on a black pot that's sooo creamy, the hamburger like patties that can be an "ulan Na" for the grepahits in you haha! 128514 you can dip them in sesame oil with salt and pepper and it's delicious hehe. 128513

My mouth is watering now as I'm typing this review and remembering everything we had.

We had the marinated beef and the beef thins. I forget what they're called but trust me - iz good. 128513 We also ordered Japchae and Sundubu Jigae (although it's good, it is unnecessary as there's free spicy tofu soup!!! 128539) we also ordered a spicy squid dish. I forgot the name. It's really spicy so I just had a few bites.

The winner for me are the meat, Japchae, and side dishes. I want to eat again here real soon. The place is nice too. 128522 plus, the service is awesome! The staff are friendly and there's this super waitress whenever I drop my spoon, she gives me a new one instantly! 128079🏼 I find her amusing because I dropped 3 spoons 128514

I can't wait to go back to this resto! Plus, it's always nice to have good company with you when you eat out! I'm so glad I was able to spend time with Mika B, JP G and Ron! It's always a good time with these guys! 10084

I love Masil, I've said it before and I will say it again! It's one of my favorite restaurants in Manila, you know that they serve you quality meat and all their sides (especially the fluffy egg) are super yummy. If you order 2 kinds of meat you get all the free sides, fluffy egg and a whole serving of soup (TALK ABOUT SULIT!). If you haven't had the chance to try this restaurant, I suggest you do. Yummy and super sulit! I hope that when you try it, you enjoy it as much as I do. :)

Ambience: 4.9 good clean simple place with korean place. Open area is clean too!

Food: 4.4 - ordered usual galbis and baby octopus. Some sides are better than other korean restos, some are the usual. Galbis are usual but you'd know its clean/fresh. Octopus was overpowered by spicy taste but overall good/fresh!

Service: 4.5 - everyone is very prompt and polite, service was fast:)

Price: 4.2 - usual korean price but because of the overall rating from above, price is worth it:)

Masil is one of my all time favorites! #ComfortFoodForTheSoul I love their sundubu jjigae (ala carte) and the steamed egg (SO FLUFFY!) you can order the steamed egg by itself but it's usually served as a side when you order grilled meat. For this trip, I didn't bother taking a picture of the meat that we ate. For me, Masil has the BEST sundubu jjigae thus far. It will always be one of my favorites but I will always be on the hunt for a better/competjng sundubu jjiage!

Visit this restaurant if you're craving for really good Korean food! ;)

This place is a gem! Everything we had was good - the beef, 'isaw', banchan, and tofu soup.

You know its legit when of the 11 tables occupied, we were the only non-koreans there.

Definitely a place i would frequent more often!

We decided to eat lunch and celebrate someone's birthday at Masil Restaurant last Sunday. There are not much people at 1130am.It is easy to park.

We ordered Marinated Beef Kalbi, Beef Kalbi, Japchae, Tempura and Grilled Mackarel. If your ordered 2 dishes, you will be given free complimentary dish of soup or steamed egg. While waiting for our order, we were given free appetizers. The food prices are bit expensive but their food are so good.

I will recommend this Korean restaurant who likes to eat Korean food.

I will keep coming back to this Korean restaurant for Korean food because their food are so good.I will try to order and eat other dishes next time.
