We've been coming to Max Brenner for almost 3 days during my thesis making days and I'm so thankful to the baristas because we can stay there for almost 5 hrs. Hehe.

I tried their Chocolate Granita and although it's too sweet for me, I still recommend it to try it and also their Max's Chocolate Volcano.

Max's Chocolate Volcano- tasted like Fudgee bar in a mas pinasosyal way and lots of chocolate inside. Hehe. This is their cheapest cake so far.

Try their Hazelnut shake, chocolate granita, 80's milkshake and their cookieshake. 12852210084

While waiting for someone, I decided to try Max Brenner since they're selling chocolates. I asked the barista what's their best seller on their Choctails and he answered that Hazelnut Shake is one of the bestsellers and so I tried it.

I think it would be better if they add some almonds in this drink. Hehe. The hazelnut shake is a must try although it's too sweet for me. It costs 188 pesos. Not bad. I love the container. I want to take it home. 128514 also a good decision that I didn't order their cakes because it would be nakakaumay if hazelnut shake will be paired by a chocolate cake, masyado na kasing matamis.

Nice, cozy and classy place to have a cup of Cappucino! 128525128525128525

On a side note, my hubby had experienced dining in their Greenbelt branch way back years ago (which is closed now hah!) and says ang mahal and nothing special!128513

Got intrigued by their Mexican Spicy Hot Chocolate and i thought hey, for a rainy tuesday/holiday... Why not.
Service was quick and the 2 baristas were very knowledgeable on their offerings.
The hot chocolate was delectable- i could taste the 'spicy' in the drink but it does not overwhelm the chocolate. The drink also came in their signature super cute hug mugs128077
Always a treat whenever I visit them, too bad they closed down the GB3 branch (in exchange for Hermes haha!) so I have to trek over to MOA whenever i feel like having chocolate by the bald man128076

The munchies waffle was CRAZY sweet!!

Muchies waffle: a nuttella-filled waffle topped with melted ice cream, mashmallows, and more nuttella (i think they used a fourth of the bottle haha).

What was weird: its pre-made pala; thats why the waffle had a sponge-like consistency. Blech

80's milkshake: it was.. Boring.

My snack set me back P400 and i didnt even enjoy it. Boo

The chocolate gods really favor this bald man. The flourless valrhona was 10084100841008410084 a bit pricey for a small cake but it was worth it! Their hot chocos didn't disappoint as well. Felt like a kid again. I think i died for a moment there and went to chocolate heaven, but came back to life to finish my cake. Haha 128525

Perfect for people with sweet tooth. The food and drinks are too sweet for me though. I like the mug that says "drink me". 128522

I miss the original Max Brenner - the menu, the place and cute that all the waiters were bald then! I used to order a sort of fondue type of hot choco drink - forgot the name. Oh well, even if they changed it a bit, they still prove to be one of the greatest in making anything out of chocolate 128523

9749CHOCO - POPs
Hot choco with crunchy wafer choco balls.
I was expecting lollipop-looking choco balls but was disappointed to see that it was just some sort of cereal pops; BUT once I got a taste of it BOOM!!! ...delisioso!!! 128523128077128077

This has got to be the most misleading chocolate cake ever!128546 It's sooo pretty but so yucky!128078128078128078 MB's Dulce de Leche chocolate cake was rock solid hard, was really dry and even lacked the chocolatey flavor! I felt like I was eating empty calories 'cause it was that bland.128532 I asked the server to heat it just to bring a little moisture in the cake, and unfortunately, he said he can't & it was intended to be that way.128532

The marshmallow hot chocolate drink that I ordered along with this was nothing extraordinary; I'd prefer the instant Marshmallow Swiss Miss.128518 Sorry, Max Brenner! I used to really love you back in the early 2000s. :( Heartbreaking.
