The best resto in Alaminos City! So, you gotta eat by the shore with the feeling of wind hugging you. This is best at night.
The owner is a good family friend. Please visit Maxine! 128076

Travelling to Alaminos, Pangasinan for The Hundred Islands Tour? Don't forget to stop and dine at Maxine by the Sea Restaurant and Lodge. They offers fresh seafoods and other Pinoy cuisines. Must try: Grilled Malagat.

Back in mainland, we asked locals where the best restaurant is and they all gave us the same answer. Maxine! It was a unanimous decision!

Maxine is situated in Lucap Wharf and looked like a restaurant in sunset boulevard. Tables are set facing the sea which we enjoyed.

We were out all day in Hundred Islands and we just wanted to feast. We ordered Calamares, Sinigang na Baboy and Buttered Chicken.

Their Buttered Chicken was good for 2-3 persons. For a restaurant price (almost at P300), it was okay. The server said that it has a foreign flavor making it their best seller. IMO, It was too ordinary and very Filipino-style. Hindi ko alam kung saan ang foreign. Probably because of butter hehe. Halos wala pa kong nalasahang butter.

Calamares was bad. It was chewy and the squid didn't taste fresh. The longer it sits on the table, the more it turns into gum.

Their Pork Sinigang was good. Generous portions of meat and well cooked vegetables.

We asked if they can make Calamansi Shake for us because what they have on the menu is juice. They said okay and w/o extra charges. When it was served, JUICE pa din. We reiterated that we asked for shake. Sabi ni manong, natunaw lang haha! We didn't bother..
