Who doesn't like the sarap to the bones chicken of Max's? Of course everyone loves it!

Had our lunch here today! Ordered spring chicken meal, sinigang na hipon and pinakbet.

Chicken 5 stars as always! Sinigang na hipon 5 stars! Pinakbet ill give it a four stars i wasnt satisfied by it. Shrimp paste was way too salty for me. Pork was too crunchy to think na it shouldnt be for that platter. Veggies was good cause it was half cooked. Well yeah yun lng hindi 5 star for me

Went here last December one Saturday lunch with my family before we start our Christmas shopping. We've been here many times already. It's one of our fave dining resto when in Greenhills. The place was big and has two floors and most of the time full even if they have their own function room na.

Got their platter meal, quarter leg chicken with pancit canton , rice , iced tea and caramel bar. Then what I love about Maxs is their soup of the day , I was not feeling well that day coz it's so cold so the soup made me feel better.

They have wifi and fast service .

Went here at Maxs Greenhills Shopping Center two weeks ago. Sunday is family day so after shopping , we end up at our favorite chicken place.

Its nice to be back again. As usual we were seated on the second floor because ground floor was full already.

Got my favorite platter meal. It comes with chicken, rice, pancit canton, caramel bar and ice tea. Service was fast, got our food within 10 mins.

They have wifi here too. Sarap to the bones127831127831127831127831

One of the traditional Filipino family go to resto never gets old 128522 Max's has been in the business for a really long time! From graduation dinners to birthday celebrations. There are days that you just need to go to that same old place to remember how good the food was. 128522

It's has been years since I've last eaten here. Max's spring fried chicken - super done for the extra crisp on that skin! Oh so good! Especially with ketchup and Worcestershire sauce! Their sizzling tofu? Another must have dish!

Although I was quite disappointed with the service day.
1. We were on the line and the server offered us to take an advance order. So my sister was telling her our order and when another customer just entered the restaurant, she switched her attention to them. So we waited for around 2-3 minutes till she got back to take our order again. I would really appreciate it if she simply said "excuse me". I was just not happy with that behavior.

2. Nothing major, it's just that they didn't separate the mayo from the tofu which we requested and our server also reiterated when repeating our order. They offered to redo it which was polite, but it would just take more time and we were starving! We still enjoyed the tofu though.

Well the reason why we requested for the mayo to be separated from it is so we could control the taste of the tofu. In that way it wouldn't be too 'nakakaumay'. So that's a tip 128522

Did you know you could use your globe rewards points to pay in Max's? 1point =1 peso AMAZING!!!

My mom and I actually just went here to burn time waiting for our sundo. We both got champorado since it was merienda time but God was I craving for Max's fried chicken! Aaahh anyway, the champorado was good! Super chocolate-y and they already include the milk, I think it was evaporated milk. Big serving which should be a good thing but in our case not soo because sayang, we could've just shared hehe. It wasn't that we were umay, it was just really filling hahaha

Aaaaand my next review might be another one for Max's cause I had to satisfy my chicken craving and ended up going to Max's Shang and that's a whole different story hehe

I really like Max's fried chicken because indeed it's "sarap to the bones".

Fiesta Plate meal is one of my usual order in Max's. I like the combination of Max's quarter chicken, lumpiang ubod, rice and iced tea with their very own caramel bar for dessert. The fresh lumpia is very tasty with it's own nutty sauce. Max's fried chicken is not that crispy but this spring chicken is very tasty up to the last bite.

Overall it’s an enjoyable and satisfied meal in Max’s Restaurant. I’ll will try their best seller Kare-kare on my next visit.

Isn't the spring chicken so sexy ?:$
Always an old favorite. Maxs is awesome.
Must try; kare kare, sinigang and Max chicken of course.

But this time we had: lumping ubod & chopsuey. Trying to be Healthy!

Don't forget to leave space for goodies from Maxs corner bakery. I personally like their quezo cake.

This photo sums up all my feelings for Max's.

This particular branch in Greenhills is the one we've been frequenting recently, since the one in Katipunan closed down a few years back. (Sad face.) Every visit has been nothing but pleasant due to excellent food and wonderful service.

Our default order at Max's since college days:
• Spring Chicken Meal, chicken cut in half (meal comes with rice, half spring chicken, soup of the day, iced tea, and a caramel bar — sulit!)
• Extra order of rice
• Sago't Gulaman
• Buko Pandan shake

It was really nice when after the waiter Kered took our order, he asked for Kiks's name, and proceeded to say, "It's nice meeting you, sir Kiko, I'm Kered. You ordered..." He also made the suggestion to upgrade the drink of the spring chicken meal to bottomless sago't gulaman, which we happily agreed to!

The food was, as always, dee-lish. I think it's only at Max's that I ever finish my chicken to the bone. Or as my dad would put it, "bad to the bone!"

It's also worth noting that we never had to raise our hands to follow-up, or even to have my drink refilled! Other restaurants would take so long before a waiter gets to you, let alone refill your water glasses. Plus points for attentiveness!

I always feel so at home at Max's which I think is one of the largest reasons why people love Max's. It's a company that started as something very homey and welcoming and warm, and I do so love that they've kept up that very important factor all these years. It's true — sarap kapiling.
