Tried Max's Classic Chicken burger and it was underwhelming. Chicken patties in general, are a bit dry but this one naman, wasn't. I guess the lack of flavor from the meat plus the dryness of the buns were the major concerns for me. I still prefer the Classic chicken burger with cheese just because the coleslaw made a huge difference in terms of flavor and texture.128522

My friend and I loves the tinapa rice! Smoky and refreshing because of the tomato plus their sizzling tofu... Uhhh... Though its tofu, you wont taste that sour tofu taste. They are soft and creamy because of the sauce.

After 128170127939128692 looking for something light and healthy for lunch and ended up here since I saw they have fresh lumpiang ubod and cream of mushroom soup in their menu outside.

Upon ordering, I felt weak (with my discipline) and so tempted with their Pancit luglog since it says "with lechon kawali" on the side. So no more cream of mushroom soup for me.

Their lumpiang ubod is really good. This is my moms favorite so I am already familiar with its taste. This is the first time I ordered their Pancit luglog and I actually liked it. It is tasty plus the lechon kawali, shrimp and the pork bits making it more flavorful. Lunch for only 174 pesos. Not bad right?

After a tiring walk around divisoria, my frabs and I decided to have lunch here. We were undecided which to eat, then the very friendly staff approached us and recommended their barkada platter.

For P899 pesos, you get a plate of crispy pata and a bowl of sinigang na bangus, which is good for sharing. 4 plates of rice and 4 glasses of drinks.

The guy who assisted us is very friendly. Too bad I forgot to ask his name. The ambiance of the place is very cozy, and not crowded.

We got our order after 10-15 mins, the "kuya" served the sinigang na bangus and after a few minutes came the crispy pata.

The soup has the right taste of sourness. I like how they cut the milkfish and the most important part is, it doesnt have fishbone!!! The vegies were cook right.

The crispy pata however is a perfect combination for the sinigang na bangus! I love the crispy pata, the meat is very tender and the skin, ooohhh lala.. SO CRISPY!!! Ang sarap tlga! Hahaha i wanted more.

5 star for this max's restaurant branch and for the very friendly kuya!

Max's new merienda offering was right on the budget. After yesterday's shopping spree, I enjoyed their brewed coffee, pancit canton and yema ensaymada all for only P95.00!

8-9 toppings but the best thing in there is the Leche Flan next to the Ube Ice Cream.. It really reminds me of my childhood when we were still able to taste our Nanang Tinay's Famous Leche Flan in Laguna.. And the Delicious Ube of Nanang Intang.. More on reminiscing my childhood..

The "pinipig's" little saltness is just right to kill the sweetness of the dessert.. The green gelatine is flat and I was'nt able to eat a piece of banana coz it's not kinda soft.. I loved it anyway.. =))
