Got some ensumadas to go, my daughter loves ensymadas. Conveniently located in the Shell gas station at the entrance to SSH, this Max’s branch is almost always full.

Ate them this morning. Added our stash of grated Parmesan to top it.

Photo 1 as is. Photo 2 with with parm.

More than their already famous chicken, we tried taking home a box of their tiramisu for less than P300 and it was AWESOME! Best value dessert we never even knew existed til we checked out their take home counter.

Experience was just okay. Plus 1 star for waitress being knowledgable of their menu minus 1 star for being all chikka at the cash register and making us wait so long for our bill

Lunch date with the in-laws after hearing mass!

They wanted Filipino food and didn't want to go far from the church so Max's was the best choice!

The dad wanted Pancit Canton and the mom wanted Chopsuey but we all wanted Chicken as usual. 9996128541 So we ordered their set family meal - half table of Set A.

Set A came with the following:

Soup of the day
Pancit Canton
Chopsuey
Shanghai Rolls
Whole Fried Chicken
Rice
Caramel Bars

Burp! Busog! As usual, Max's hits the right spot! Classic Pinoy favorite! But if you've noticed, they changed their ketchup brand - from Jufran to UFC 128563128534128555 Jufran was the one that completes the chicken experience, together with their Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce.

Another observation: Max's went from Formal dining to Casual dining. I remember when I was still a child, they used to set the tables properly - Mantel, place mat, cloth table napkins. Now it's just like your ordinary restaurant - paper place mats or nothing at all at times.

Anyway... We all still got full! Happy Sunday!

I had their Chopsuey Meal (P219), it was good and satisfying. It comes with a glass of ice tea or pepsi plus a caramel bar.

I love the crispy and edible bowl of the Chopsuey.

Service is a bit slow since there were a lot of diners but it was still tolerable.

This is a nice stopover before long drives down South. A small place but spacious table placements. I always stop by for my sinigang na baboy fix.
