Max's fried chicken will always always be a favorite. If only they can bring back the unli chicken again!! That would be super awesome!!! The last time we tried that, I think I ate almost 6 pieces!!! 128518128513 Best eaten with the ketchup and worcestexxbzndksg? sauce 128518128514128586 combo!

We also ordered adobong kangkong with fried tofu (which is another favorite here) and fresh lumpiang ubod to pair with the fried chicken.

Food was good. Especially the chicken. 127831127831

But it was the service that was a let down.....

- Waiting time was insane.
- They even forgot our orders so we had to wait for another extra xx minutes.
- The utensils were dirty.
- We had to get water on our own unless we are willing to wait xx minutes before we get their attention or they see us raising our hands and then wait for another xx minutes for the actual water refill.
- Servers weren't even apologetic despite knowing the fact that they are slow and service was a mess.

Sometimes, even though the food is good, when the service is bad, the whole experience is affected.

Sad that no amount of (yummy) fried chicken can save the bad customer service. 128529

I love the food in Max's but I didn't like the service, The servers were nice but maybe I'm used to restaurants here in Makati and Manila. The female server was not joyful, parang dabog nya mga plates when she puts it on our table. It was rude and irritating. But they were accommodating but not friendly. The service is slow, the utensils werent complete we had to call again for the set of spoons. They were following our requests though but not happily. I really don't like how this doesn't have a high class service when in Max's in Cubao or other malls here in this city of Manila, are high class service with smiling staff and fast service,

This is my family's go-to resto. My dad absolutely loves it here. I do too, because the food's great it's just that their service is always bad. 128542

Maybe they're understaffed or something but whatever it is it really takes a hit in the whole dining experience. Word of advice, if you do decide to try eat here - make sure it's not a weekend or a holiday, the place is packed and you'd probably get tired waiting for a server to get to you.

Nonetheless, the food is what we're really here for. We usually order their sinigang, kare-kare, chicken and for dessert their special buko pandan. Ahhh yes, the buko pandan is definitely the cherry on top.

Prices are pretty reasonable too.

sarap to the bones!

This branch is really big. You can hold private functions here.

Aside from chicken, they have alot of good tasting food on the menu. My personal favorite is the tofu sisig.

We went to a Christening today with the celebration held at Max's... My bf tells me that all his grad celebrations were held at this particular branch, so I guess matanda na talaga ang branch na 'to...128522

It's a pretty big branch, with several function rooms towards the back, away from the main dining area. We entered one of the function rooms, which was the perfect backdrop to any party set-up you might have in mind... I have to say that I didn't like their iced tea, yun lang... We were served soup, fried mini lumpiang ubod, sweet and sour fish, oriental beef, pancit canton and of course, the fried chicken!128522 the servers were very accommodating and very efficient, always smiling... I just think they need bigger tables to seat 10 people or maybe utilize the cabisera area. It was a bit crowded and our elbows kept bumping together... But otherwise, I think it's a great place to celebrate baptisms and birthdays!128077

Change of Holiday Plans yesterday. Went to Paranaque to visit my dad and at the same time went to Manila Memorial to visit also my grandmother and to attend an advance Christmas gathering on my father side before my aunt leave for New York.

After we went to Manila Memorial my dad advance to celebrate our Xmas celebration which is supposed to be lunch on the 24th because all of us have different activities. We went at Maxs Restaurant Sucat. It's one of the big and nice Maxs ambiance I've seen and has a huge parking.

It's my 3rd time here . First was wedding then baptismal. The parking was so full and when we reach the entrance there are so many people waiting outside and it's like I want to back out but my dad insist to stay there maybe it's all the same scene even we transfer, it's almost past 1pm and when we try to list our names pang 9 pa kame and we almost waited 1 hour plus . Then tagal makaupo. We are also thirsty and wala man lang complimentary drinks for the customers you need to ask pa! My dad was angry, umiral ang pagiging boss nya, talked to one of the waitress and suggest that they should do something about the situation during holidays .

So after 1 hours of waiting finally we got our table but ang tagal ng orders namin. While waiting pa lang nag pre order na kme. Ordered the half table set c that includes lechon kawali , boneless bangus, kare-kare, fried chicken, sinigang na hipon, rice , roasted peanuts and buko pandan that is good for 5-6 persons then we add extra rice, pancit canton and pitcher of ice tea . The Kare-kare halos walang laman! I like the boneless bangus , then the sinigang na hipon super konti ng sabaw and my dad got mad and ask for extra soup .

My dad paid around 2,500 plus and I really find the service was poor and the wifi is not working. I admit the place was huge and nice and there are lot of function room and it was nice. The restroom was clean but I hope naman when it's holiday don't let their customers late! Nalipasan nko ng gutom128532

Nothing beats their steamed fish (cream dory) fillet in light soy and pinakbet. Our alternative orders if we don't feel like having platter meals. They just complement each other. 128077

Panalo ka white rice! No one ever takes a picture of their rice! They should - it's a basic food group in our country!

Last Sunday was the Christening of our inaanak, Liam. This is the first time Ginny B was a ninang in her entire 20-something life.

OK, going back to food, ironic thing is i didn't eat chicken! I looooved their shrimp (garlic?), iced tea, rice and buko pandan dessert! The shrimp went well with the rice although it wasn't fresh. The iced tea help beat the heat and buko pandan was refreshing! Kunie G had so many items prepared that EVERYONE would be full.

The best part was seeing former co-workers and the harutan. Solid! #ninongkosiMax's #tamabataglineko
