Remember their chicken all you can?! Tapos with banana ketchup? Panalo. I hope they bring it back. I loooove their bottomless Sago't Gulaman and Caramel Bars as well. Classic.

My family obviously love Filipino food. We always eat home cooked Filipino cuisine at home everyday but always ended up dining in a Buffet or Chinese restaurant whenever theres a celebration in the family.

There's a rare chance that we go to Maxs unless na invite coz you know, there are a hundred restos and food to choose from. But if my dad is alive i know for sure we will always eat here coz this is his favorite!

Sinigang na Hipon at Sinigang na Bangus are my favorite! Basta sinigang i love love love!
But of course, isa sa binabalik balikan dito ang Fried Chicken..always will be part of our order.

The only thing i can say, i think that the price is a bit on a high side already...9786

If you're craving for a simple yet yummy fried chicken then you must eat at Max's. No one will go wrong here. Ever since i was a kid Max's is a favorite place to eat. Love the chicken, the caramel bar and the pancit. Its great that they have combo meals complete with rice, chicken, side, dessert and drinks.

My friends and I went here for dinner after catching up a movie. We actually queued at Mann Hann first, but we're #8 on their list and we're already hungry. So we thought of queueing at Max's, and fortunately, we're the first group on the waiting list. After a couple of minutes, we finally got our table for 5 persons.

We gor the Family-sized chicken, Kare-kare, Tofu con Lechon, Chopsuey and Tinapa rice.

We got the Tofu con Lechon as our appetizer. The tofu was soft and the pork cuts were fine, and both drowning in their special sawsawan. It was good.

Other orders came in about 10 minutes, served by their wonderful server. Their chicken was good as always and has been our favorite through out the years. The kare-kare was also delicious and filling. The chopsuey was good as well. The veggies were cooked just right and not "malabog". There were also some liver cuts and few pieces of shrimp on it which was very pleasing. Tinapa rice was perfect! I love tinapa fish and mixing every piece of it in the fried rice was a good match with their dishes, especially with Kare-kare. Oh sooo yummy!

We also tried their sweet offerings, we got the Buko Pandan special and Leche flan. Buko pandan was good and spot-on, while Leche flan was a bit pale and bland in my opinion.

Overall, everything was good and we're really satisfied with the food (due to its taste, quality and generous serving) and their service.

Had dinner last night with my girl friends here. Good thing the waiting time was not that long since we were really hungry.

We ordered whole spring chicken, sinigang na bangus belly, and sizzling tofu. I am not a fan of tofu but to my surprise, it tasted good. The sinigang was really sour but tasty, and the chicken was as usual, delicious. 128523128077 it's only Max's chicken that I eat chicken with ketchup. All the others I eat with gravy or bare.128516

-111088 for the wet utensils and plates.
-111088 for quite unattentive servers. Had to call them several times before we got noticed.

This review is all about their Caramel Bar only. Yes, I've been craving for this weeks already! I love how soft and caramel-y with a touch of nuts.

This costs 130+ for 18 pcs. Its all worth the calories and money! Yummy!
