Have you tried the new Shake Shake Fries flavors? Was excited with the Creamy Truffle to be honest. As soon as it became avail weeks ago, I can't wait to try. I loved the Garlic Butter flavor last time and I was hoping that since I love truffle, I'll go crazy about this flavor.

Verdict: this was okay. I mean it's an olfactory treat alright but falls short in terms of the truffle flavor, at least for me coz I like my truffle strong. Though my husband who doesn't really fancy truffle said it was good.

Also tried the Sour Cream Cheddar flavor but it was too sour and salty for me. Will pick the Creamy Truffle anytime but Garlic Butter is still the best! Hope they'll bring it back!

Trying out McDo's Lenten offering, the NEW Fish n' Fries. Served with a side of their beloved french fries and a choice of dip (Tartar Sauce, Thousand Island or Sweet and Sour), their take on this British staple is good. The fish was cooked just right, it was firm and moist. The breading had a delicious crunch and was not too oily. Only downside perhaps is that it looks bigger in photos and advertisements. Sadly they ran out of tartar sauce today and I had to settle with the lackluster thousand island dressing. French fries was not fresh off the fryer either. It was no longer hot and crisp.

Why is McDonald's Desserts are Super HOT and TRENDING this Summer? Maybe because they want to try the goodness of Oreo Matcha Mcflurry? Too curious what is the taste of the Angry Bird Black Ice Cream? Trying to beat the heat through its Frozen Soda? Or they just perfectly amazing this Hot Summer Season with very affordable price. 9728127846127847

It has been years na ata since I visited this place. It used to feel homey here for me and hubby and used to be our go to place even after midnight.

Coke float here with Fries before going home last Saturday. We stayed for less than 30 minutes. This branch isn't as crowded and energetic as before. I just noticed...128513

I bought the sausage, egg and cheese mcgriddles with the orange juice for 130 pesos.

I love everything. The cheese and the pancakes balance out each other, the cheese being a little salty and the pancakes sweet. Although the pancakes don't look presentable.

One of my favorite childhood memories will always be those breakfast weekends my grandfather treats us out to mickey-dee's at that well-loved Sucat corner. I guess all Mcdonald's stores we've been in have a different story for us that's close to our heart.

The last two decades or so, the Mcdo at GB1 was a favorite hang out or meet up place for friends of mine. It's great to see that a familiar place hasn't changed that much all together. Nor the service its crew always provides.

Waiting for our kiddo, I got one of those happy meals to add a toy for her collection. Don't be fooled by the pic, hindi lahat yan kasama ng isang happy meal 128540 The taste has remained the same. Their hamdesal is so familiar with its sweet sauce and a thin slice of meat in the middle of a meager bun. Comes with an OJ and those fries we all love, much until they're soggy. The toys are also of good quality (lalo na yung minion collectibles #5OutOf10) 128512

Whatever the time, that M will always be a trusty place that'll serve you good food with that same customer service we all love. Love ko to 128526

Had breakfast at my favorite Mcdo branch today with ny kids and their friends.
Whoever invented the happy meal/toy combo is a genius!
Was supposed to order my favorite, Big Breakfast but because the kids wanted the Penguins of Madagascar, I had to settle for Hamdesal which was just ok. I just ordered apple pie and coffee.
BFF fries ftw!

One of the few McDonald's branches that offer the controversial McRib. 9996128513

It was kinda weird because I just watched a video on how the patty was made. It's not that bad. I think the sauce is a but different from the usual BBQ sauce. It's nice to taste something different from McDonald's once in a while.

Oh it reminded of their Teriyaki in the 90s. I kinda liked that one. 9996128513

The McRib is now available in The Philippines (selected branches only)! The item from Mcdonald's that American's seem to be crazy about is now in town.

It's a sub like sandwich with what seemed to be their breakfast longganisa. Topped with barbecue sauce, onions and pickles.

I was hoping it was the same barbecue sauce for the nuggets. But no.

This was really disappointing. I wasn't expecting ribs, but at least make the sauce better and have some more onions. And not use longganisa as the patty.

The full list of branches that offer this is available in one of Wheninmanila's posts.

Aside from McDonald's new Cheeseburger Bacon and Cheeseburger Deluxe Bacon Sandwich, they offer another unique sandwich in their menu. The new McRib. It's only available in around 20 branches in the whole Philippines. McDo Greenbelt 1 is one of those few that sell it.

For the sandwich itself, size is just medium, not as small as the burger McDo. The pattie is not your ordinary beef that you get, but in my opinion it almost tastes like it. Think of a burger McDo that has BBQ sauce or your chicken nugget sauce in your burger. If you're a fan of their bbq sauce, then most likely you'll love this. By the way, it's sandwich is not the usual round one but rather similar to a hotdog bun.

I was set in ordering McSpicy until I saw the McRibs. This is only available in selected branches and luckily, Greenbelt is one of them. The girl said that the McRibs were out of stock because they had no bread soooo I ended up ordering the ribs with rice.

my verdict? nothing great. it's like the normal sausage pattie with less salt and shaped like ribs, dipped in barbecue sauce and finished with onions on top. I paid php 110 for the meal.

You might want to try it but I'll stick to my usual order.

The Chicken Egg McMuffin. Pretty good but not as good as the sausage one. It's like eating the patty version of their chicken nuggets. I wish they didn't put mayo though.

Okay. I didn't really eat in this branch. I ordered via the Mcdo app delivery and I am assuming my order came from this branch since it's the nearest one to my place 128521

I super love the service! My order arrived in 20 minutes! I got a double cheeseburger deluxe meal with twister fries (of course! Minsan lang to! 128513) i enjoyed my cheat meal. Only complaint is that the twister fries were too tostado and crunchy. I want my twister fries to have more twists. Arte lang 128514

A couple of months back when my internship started, I'd frequent either McDonalds, Starbucks or Coffee Bean in the area so I have a place to stay in while waiting in the morning. It was only then that I realized that Mcdo's iced coffee works better than other drinks to keep me up (aside from Serenitea LOL)! A plus for me since it's waaay cheaper too. 128077

So for today, I had my usual iced coffee with vanilla and twister fries (to share hehe since I felt guilty I'm having it for breakfast). I don't know why but it tastes so much better now!!! 128523 Crispy-oily goodness that I'd definitely crave for when they pull it out in a couple of months...

Can't believe their Mc café serves the cheapest (so far from the rest) blueberry cheesecake! And it wasn't that bad. 128563

We also had cinnamon, chocolate cake and choco chip cookie 127838127851127856127850

My family and I were making chika here while waiting for our aunt who works across the chain. 128522
