My go to place when I crave for steak in BF Homes. On this visit I noticed that they have expanded and now having more tables for diners. The place still got variety of graded steak from local to angus to wagyu. I also noticed that they have hanger steak, bacon, corned beef slab on the meat choice. Not sure if this a new addition but never noticed on my previous visit.

On this visit we went for salmon, hanger steak, angus steak and bacon. The bacon was spot on delicious. It was more flavorful from the common bacon I usually buy on grocery store. The salmon was cooked just right keeping the juiciness and softness of the meat. The Angus steak was medium rare good. Pepper suace was a perfect combination. Hanger steak was the only failure for me. I think it was overcooked. Had a hard time chewing those meat.

Overall still one of the best cheapest choice for a quality steak. Hope they could include sausages in their dine in choices and lastly please bring back those cool wooden chopping board. They are way more photogenic than this plain white plate. 128521128077

One of my go-to restaurants when I'm craving for huge steaks without having to pay for too much. I forgot what part I usually get, I think it's the striploin? But I always get the huge ones with prices around P600-700. I also get either the mashed potato or fries as sides, and mushroom gravy as the sauce. I've also tried their salmon, which is also huge for around P300, and I also liked it, although it doesn't seem too much. The only problem for this place is parking. And of course when you arrive during peak hours, it's a bit hard to get seats. One thing though, they changed their plates from the wood-ish one to a white plastic plate. It makes the food look boring and small. But Overall, I love this place!

I first heard about this place from Julie J when she tried the branch near her area and said it was good. After doing some errands in the South, I asked my family if they wanted to try it out since it was near our former house. When my sister heard the magic word, STEAK, she immediately said of course.

Around 11am, the place was surprisingly filled. I thought we were actually early. You first choose your meat from the chillers and accomplish a checklist. Indicate the doneness you prefer, the side dish included in your meal, and the sauce. Price varies depending on the weight of the meat or fish plus cooking fee. We had to wait for about twenty minutes for the food, quite long especially if you are hangry. 128541

Mom and I ordered salmon while my dad and sister got beef strips (forgot what it was exactly called) plus an extra order of beef to share. The salmon was really good. It was cooked perfectly, keeping it juicy and tender. The beef was a bit overcooked. We had it cooked medium well but it came out well done. But taste wise, I cannot complain. It was well-marinated and enjoyable even without any sauce. Price seemed reasonable for the serving size and quality of the food.

You can also buy frozen meat to take home. You just have to get them from the freezers.

Since we don't belong to the elite group, we chose two of their basic meats available. We ended up getting a Chilled Corned Beef and a Chilled Marinated Liempo. First impression would be like: these aren't different on the usual context when it comes to barbeque. But, the sauce and mix of the steak makes us so vulnerable and eat this gourmet slowly. The taste of the marinade the crisp burned tips of the meat makes it so luscious! Give it a try and see for yourself! But some other steaks available really really costs a lot, like one basket of grocery! haha

I've been seeing Meat Depot in BF for such a long time now but since we're always out with our kids, we have not attempted to dine here. I think it's not kid friendly because they don't have other options than grilled meat. I'm sure my daughters will not be able to enjoy and I don't think I'm ready to feed them meat that's not cooked thoroughly.

Anyhow, hubby and I paid this place a visit on a Sunday. It was around 8PM and boy it was packed! Good thing the place was huge so we still got a table towards the back, almost hidden section that we did not notice at first.

The name of the game at Meat Depot was self-service. As soon as you get in, you have to choose your meat from their chiller. They have a wide selection of steak - Wagyu, Angus, Lamb, pork chops, etc. All were packed properly with labels and prices. When you're done, you have to fill-up their order form and choose the done-ness of your meat, your sauce, side and drink. Then you go to the counter and pay. There was a cooking charge of 100php. Gravy and side were already included in the cooking charge but you have to pay extra for your drink. They also have house water if you would prefer that.

After paying they'll give you your number and then you wait. While waiting, you can check out their freezers for more meat options should you want to buy some for grilling at home.

It took them almost an hour to serve our steak and I followed up twice. The server explained that they cooked a lot of pork chops prior to our orders that's why it took them a long time. I wanted to say "so what" lol but I was in a good date mood so I just let it pass.

I had my steak cooked Medium and it was perfect! I got rice as my side and mushroom gravy to smother my steak. The steak was tender and juicy and so delicious! I loved the pretty grill marks and I have to say that it was seasoned just right. Since I got to choose the meat, the portion, the thickness and the fat trimming were just what I wanted.

Definitely coming back. I paid around 700Php for my steak with the cooking fee already. Not bad at all.

Had hanging tenders and liempo for dinner. Hehe. Liempo is perfect - very tender and flavorful. Hanging tenders is okay - slightly tough, despite the fact that it is medium to well done. Should have probably requested medium doneness. Nevertheless, it still is a good choice.
Service is slightly slow, but the good quality of food makes up for it.

The Liempo! I give that a 4/5. Not gonna describe, because I can't lol. But it's really good.

Fearing that it may be too costly, it took me some time to try this place. Surprisingly, steak experience has never been this affordable. Had I been there earlier, I would have more meat products to choose from. Luckily, the T-bone, Tenderloin and Tapa were cooked to perfection, making it a heavenly night.

There's nothing i can say thats already been said. Meat depot grills some of the best steaks and chops around. Brought coworkers from the office who live in the north, and they were in meat heaven! Its only afterwards that i found out there's a branch more accessible to them along Banawe QC haha. A little sad though that the wooden chopping boards were scrapped for regular plates. Its also what i was looking forward to seeing again haha! The chopping boards added so much to the overall appeal, but hey, the meat's still perfect and thats what matters. 128521

I can't believe they replaced the "wooden chopping board" presentation with a sad white plastic plate. The wooden board did wonders to their plating. But at least their meat standards did not go down. They were still serving excellent meat which i think they sell at a reasonable price. My sides were fries because the mashed potato option was not available HOWEVER, the second guy behind me got to order mashed potatoes. Oh what timing! :( but hey, still enjoyed my steak. :)

Oh and very thankful for their good wifi connection. I went here with one last pesky email to send to my boss, good thing they had good enough wifi connection to enable me to send out that 19mb document.

Service was great. They did forget to serve me my sauce but server apologized and gave me my sauce with a smile. Haha i guess that counts.

All in all the pros outweigh the cons as usual in this depot. Ha! Take care everyone. Cheers to this meat heaven! :)

One of the best steak joints i've been too but of course you have to manage your expectations. It's not going to be something like elbert's steakhouse or chops especially price wise.

What we paid for was well worth it!

Took a while for us to be seated, and for the food to arrive. Place was jampacked for dinner, despite the two lot area.
Parking's a bit scarce too.

But... Dun dun dun dun. It was worth it haha!
Good meat = good food. Though they only have 3 flavors for sauce (spicy pepper, gravy?, forgot the other haha), the grilled meat in itself is savory. Plus, the various various meat choices. They have wagyu! Cooking fee is Php100, served with sides (either rice or mashed potato or that other thing, i think). I think you can also buy it raw, to-go. You can have it cooked however you like (med rare, well done, etc).

Place is like your typical butcher shop haha! Except cleaner. I like the wooden stools and tables. So many servers.

Yesterday, my FIRST CLIENTS EVER (long lost relatives hehe) took me to Meat Depot for lunch. I had heard good things about the place before, so I was really quite excited to go. Even though we had a late lunch, the place was still pretty full.

The restaurant's interiors are pretty basic; nothing great. I found the layout of the space a bit confusing even if there were signs around the place.

It took a while for our food to arrive, but it was well worth the wait. My steak was tender and flavorful. The mushroom gravy was a bit lackluster though.

One problem our group had tho was with my aunt's steak: she asked for well done and hers was the bloodier than the medium rare that I ordered. She asked them to re-cook it but it was still pretty raw when it got back to her. She ate some of her husband's tapa instead.

I am a meat lover and I’m not shy about it. I grew up in Saudi Arabia – a place with abundance of beef and lamb. It was a total game changer when I moved to the Philippines, pork was the primary and most inexpensive meat source and I am not really a huge fan of it.

It was such a sad realization that in this country your P1000 can only get you a little morsel of steak from one of those “high-end” places. You’re left unsatisfied with the quantity and quality of your meal that you often find yourself in constant wonder.

Our friends Alyannah and Ranya tried out Meat Depot and I was definitely hooked on their appetizing Instagram photos. I wanted to go there so badly that after MC’s basketball game we decided to give this place a try.

It’s not your snazzy and snooty you-can-only-dine-here-if-you-have-enough-moolah kind of place. It had a more ranchy feel to it with their box-type tables and rustic cutlery.

Now, unlike regular restaurants – Meat Depot has a very systematized procedure in ordering:

Pick out your meat. They have refrigerators stocked with all sorts of meat. Fish, pork, beef, lamb, etc. They come in vacuum sealed packets with their price tags. The prices depend on the weight of the meat and if they’re local or not.

Choose your drink: They have soda, iced tea, wine and water. (You can also choose to skip this step since they do have service water available)

Fill out the order form: On this form you have to write your name, the type of meat you’ve chosen (and weight, if you’ve got 2 of a kind). You then choose your side-dish, sauce and other add-ons, and choose how do you want your meat done. (We often have ours well-done)

Side Dishes Include: Mashed Potato (I highly recommend this), Fries (Nothing special, seems like those grocery bought fries) and Rice (The last time I ordered this it was kind of dry)

Pay at the cashier: We’re lucky enough not to visit the place when it’s not jam-packed with people so we didn’t have wait in line or anything.

The attendants were really helpful, especially during our first visit. They guided us through the whole process. You pay for the price on the tag of your meat, plus P100/meat for the cooking fee. Not bad right? If I recall the most we’ve spent here (that’s for 2 meals) was like P800.

This place has definitely won our hearts. We didn’t need to spend too much to satisfy our carnivorous cravings and to get a hearty slab of meat. 10084

We also buy meat to take home. On our first visit we got 2 slabs of baby back ribs for P300+ only!

Kudos to the owners of Meat Depot, they’re truly the game-changers in the steak business. We’re definitely recommending this place to all other fellow meat-lovers out there. 10084

I prefer the Angus coz of its natural tenderness and taste!

This time we had the chicharon bulaklak as our appetizer.

We had lunch with our friends here a few weeks ago. Unfortunately, they were out of the locally raised beef (Angus is much to steep for my wallet) but the pork was tender and perfectly cooked. Using my #chefskills, I found the perfect cut to enjoy (not too fatty, no bones- just lovely, luscious meat). My husband and best friend weren't so lucky with their choice of tapa, which was stringy and tough to chew. Also, their mashed potatoes were 'pre-mixed', which sounds like it came from a box. Regardless, my yummy porkchop was all that mattered, and I definitely want to repeat the experience.

Carnivore heaven!

Too many reviews already for this hideaway and read them by heart :)

Tips:
1) Be early as there's no ample parking space
2) talk to the griller directly to render the fat
3) try their mash + pepper corn gravy
4) try their freshly popped chicharon as ur appetizer
5) bring some cholesterol meds :)

I can't believe it was only just last week that we were able to try this place!! 128563 I remember the first time we went here, this was not that famous yet, but we were not that hungry so we just went somewhere else. The second time, the store was still closed and we were too tamad and hungry to wait; third time, there were a lot of people already; and finally, 4th time's the charm! 128518128517 We arrived extra early so we can reserve a table right a way. This is it!!! 128521128077🏼 While waiting, we already picked our meat from the freezer. There are a lot to choose from. According to our server, their bestsellers are the Angus Beef Rib-Eye and Angus Beef Striploin. They also have marinated meat, like tapa, porkchop, liempo, and lamb. We got one Angus Beef Striploin (412php) and tried the Prime Tapa (120phph). You need to pay 100 pesos each as cooking charge plus you also get to choose your sauce (pepper steak or mushroom/gravy) and starch -- rice, mashed potato, or fries. Total bill was a little over 700 pesos! SULIT!!!!128076🏼

Serving time was quick since we were early. It's really best to come here early! The steak was cooked perfectly! Medium and it was oh so tender and even without the pepper steak sauce, it was flavorful already!! And the tapa was equally good as well! Usual tapa, salty but the mushroom sauce/gravy + mashed potato both perfectly matched it! The beef was tender, too!! 128077🏼

Meat Depot is a really nice and good place to go when craving for steaks!! Affordable and good meat!! Meat lovers will surely enjoy it here! 128513128521128077🏼 Plus, service was excellent. Our server was nice, friendly, and helped us throughout the "process". 128513
