The place is old and dingy.
Siopao had little filling (unang kagat tinapay lahat). Siomai was typical.
Price and wait staff were okay.

Ni hao! From the heart of China town, Ongpin, you'll discover and experience pure and authentic Chinese food.
Mei Sum has been known for their famous noodles. You'll enjoy the rich flavor of the soup and chunk on the firm noodles. Topped with some veggies and dumplings, their noodles is extremely delicious.
Their dumplings are crazy yummy! Even without the dip, you'll taste the fillings of the dumplings.
Another favorite is the hakaw! This is a must try at Mei Sum. Even without the dip, you'll enjoy the luscious hakaw bite per bite.
I've tried 2 other yummy dishes, but frankly, I forgot what they're called. Haha! My bad! But it's the dish that has thick, flat noodles and the dumplings that has veggies inside it.
I guess, 1,000php will be enough for 3 hungry chinese food lovers. Drinks are also included in this amount.
Well, the place looks like a typical chinese restaurant but the place is really cozy. Also, the staff are really nice. Oh! If you ever meet the owner's wife, Thea, she's the nicest person in the place.
After I ate here, I ended up with a happy chinese tummy!
