Here’s a strong coffee recommendation.
Iced sumiyaki at 200+

The place is recommendable as well for an afternoon chotchat or me-time as it is surrounded by calming garden.

2 level UCC by Raffles and Glorietta 2. You can conveniently park below and the elevator from the basement leading up to the ground floor is right beside Mentore.

I find it really small. On a Sunday it was full by 9 am. We tried the 2f but we could clearly here conversation and so when a table freed up on the ground floor we went down. Also met several neighbors here dining with their families.

Got a Grilled Reuben for about 500. I liked the beef but the sandwich itself, for the price was lacking. I wasn’t able to taste the sauerkraut. Nothing compared to Mr. Delicious, which I miss terribly.

The quesadilla at 400 was pretty good.l. We liked the use of bleu cheese. Food in UCC is really more expensive than the average.

Got a chocolate chip drink here which we enjoyed.

Food 11088110881108811088
➡️ Filipino breakfast P320 - served with garlic rice, japanese egg and japanese house salad. I was craving for tocino so I ordered that but you can also order tapa, bangus, corned beef or longganisa.

I also recommend that you try thier cliff hanger and bacon pomodoro

Price 110881108811088️ (3.5)
➡️ A bit overpriced for me.

Mentore is the high end version of UCC cafe, they serve more sophisticated types and coffee blends. They also have a bar for some cocktails and some pastries and other food items.

As I'm waiting for an appointment ,while waiting for that particular time,I've decided to have a coffee and read some articles. As my favorite coffee place was recently closed I searched around the area and saw Mentore.

Ordered a single origin Philippine brew,Benguet beans to be specific, pour over ,the taste was fruity inclined hints of berries and tamarind are apparent with some notes of vanilla aroma.

Place has a second floor, service was fine, price a bit steep.

Overall good but not that great.

I love the ambiance here in Mentoré!

For coffee, I really love UCC's Sumiyaki but I prefer my coffee cold so I always go for the Kori Kohi. It literally translates to Ice Coffee in which the coffee is in ice cubes and warm milk will melt the ice once mixed.

I needed something to eat because of my hyperacidity. I got their Strawberry Clair which is a Japanese style waffle crepe. It was topped with strawberries, mangoes and kiwi and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It originally comes with a mango sauce but since they didn't have any that morning, they asked if I wanted it with strawberry syrup. I preferred chocolate so that's what I got. Looked beautiful when it was served. Really fun to eat too! Crispy waffle!

Free WiFi for an hour - care of Globe's GoWifi.

P.S. They have a promo! Check out the last photo!

Go home by bus at 7PM from Makati or wait until 10PM so you can go home by car? I was willing to take the bus, but someone asked, "Coffee at UCC Mentoré?"

Okay, 10PM it is. 128514

KORI KOHI ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

I love this! The concept is just too cool! Cold brew Sumiyaki coffee frozen into little ice cubes served with milk and syrup. 128525 The concept of iced coffee taken oh-so literally!

But damn, this coffee is strong. UCC's Sumiyaki is quite strong and it can keep you awake for quite a while. 128514

Love the ambiance of the place, very relaxing. I can spend long hours just sitting here and maybe keep up with my journaling. 128221

Ok the coffee rocks, and that's the siphon house blend coffee which although quite pricey, still tickles my tastebuds every time. However the serving time takes FOREVER. I've been here numerous times already and nothing has ever changed. Sucks.

My team went to have a nice breakfast yesterday. We ordered 7:15am and we were literally the first customers there. I had a meeting at 8 so I kind of expected I'd still have 30 minutes to eat. To my dismay, my food wasn't served at 7:55, so I decided to have it wrapped. Left hungry and grumpy. 128534128547

I have been longing to try this place! It was a good thing a had time one night. I heard mentore offers coffee with booze. If you are going here via car, it would be advisable to park at car park link. The mall parking would be a little too far, the hotel parking is too costly naman.

It was already 11:30pm it was great to see a lot of people hanging out in this place. I went yo check/use the CR first i thought the ground floor CR is only for females, the reason i went to the second floor where there were a lot more people. There's no CR at the second floor the signage of the CR downstairs was just confusing.

I was then standing a while deciding to sit at the bar or somewhere else, but neither the servers nor the supervisor assisted or accommodated me. I looked at them but still they thought i just came to
Use the CR. I grabbed the menu and hurriedly say at the Bar's high chair. It really took a while until one of the barista noticed that i intend to buy. The wild kori kohi was not available under their coffeeholics section so i tried

This is composed of espresso, patron XO, baileys, butterscotch, half and half milk, chocolate and cinnamon. Generally i loved the drink. The baileys and butterscotch were the main taste. Espresso only comes in after them for a short while. I am not fond of whole chocolates, but this one pretty tastes good with the drink. The cinnamon is weaker here.
Whew i thought it's going to be a little dizzy but amazingly, not at all!! Haha!

128204 molten dulce de leche @260PhP
This is nice, sweet tasting, it tasted moist chocolate with caramel sauce on top. Recommended pweds din, this is their best seller daw, but i cant have this everyday or every other day.

The service sucked finely. I asked for bill out immediately but still my wish was not granted. This is one example of dislikable place due to slow service however because of the unique and good food (or drinks in this case), i am still liking it.

Dined here with friends and these are the things I ordered:
✅ Truffled Mac and Cheese - really REALLY savory, tastes great but has umay factor
✅ Single Origin Brazil No. 2 in Pour Over - really good coffeee with nutty taste
✅ Huey's Road Mocktail - mint, ginger, lime, apple, and cinnamon perfection

The servers are SUPER nice! 128154

Mentore by UCC. Now, this a is a gem right beside Fairmont in Makati. It's a unique japanese like cafe with western offerings. I only had caramel frap for a hot afternoon, and it's a must to try. It's not too sweet, the whip creme isn't too heavy and the serving is right. The place has a good vibes; very cozy and chill with only a few people during day time. I haven't tried their menu extensively yet, but for a coffee hangout, this a great place to go and have a sip of your favorite cup.

Went here with a friend because we read that you can get iced coffee for 15php with any purchase of food. I ordered the Truffle Mac and Cheese and oh my GOD I did not regret paying 380php for it. The cheese they used was so good. It was actual cheese too and not some weird cheese sauce. They probably grated more cheese on top and then baked it, too. The thing was that it took a while but it was worth it. Also, their iced coffee? The best coffee I've had ever. I'm not even kidding. You can taste the roast? Heaven. I've had my fair share of coffee everywhere but damn that one was amazing.

Breakfast meeting place....

I like this UCC as it's a discreet place to meet with somebody who wants a low profile business transaction.

While waiting,i ordered UCC houseblend and this bfast medley..

Food was good, loved the sausages and angus tapa.

Price is on the high side though.

Service was good.

AC quite cold but good for me :)

Love the venue of this coffee shop--situated beside Fairmont/ Raffles Hotel in Makati, it's far from the crowded, hustle and bustle of the malls in the area. Went here after dinner and there weren't much people, so my companions and I got to sit in a really super comfy couch.

Ordered hot cafe latte and a salted caramel chiffon cake--both were ok. I've had better, but good enough.

Service was good as well. Servers were warm and all smiles, even though it was already late at night.

What I didn't like much was the manager. She seems so aloof. There was also a time she adjusted the AC for whatever reason when the temp was just fine. So the place it became a tad too cold. There was also one time she was talking with one of the servers and she just removed her shoe with her hand and showed it to the server. The heck? I sure hope she didn't prepare any of the food or drinks there 128561

Lastly--comfort room was clean, but didn't smell so.

Will still return here though--not because of the coffee or food, but because there are only a few places in the area that offers a quiet ambiance, where one can have a restful evening out with friends.

I love their sumiyaki coffee! I match it with syphoned house brew. Ucc coffee has a very light taste, usually smooth at the back of the tongue, but is robust. You know its quality coffee when it doesnt feel like overwhelming you with roasted and bitter aftertaste. Its now my new fave tambayan. Mentoré is the higher end take of the UCC brand, to compete with starbucks' Reserve. This branch in particular near raffles is perfect because of its location and building design. See you there!

I love this place for conversations because it is outside the mall and the classy feel of the place. They have a broad range of coffee and beverages and the staffs know what to recommend. I have been streaking on the different cappuccino blends lately (rose hip, orange, etc). The food though is expensive but you can settle for their cakes and pastries if you want to stick to the "average coffee shop price".
