First of all, thanks Looloo for putting this on the map! (literally, hehe)

- Meok-ja Golmok literally means "Let's eat alley". Named after a popular foodie street in Korea (like our Maginhawa, Tomas Morato, and Aguirre).
- This used to be Kodary Kimbap several blocks down Aguirre. The owner closed shop last year when her lease ended and re-opened at the current location in Southland Apartelle.

I curiously walked in one day just to try it out, and to my surprise (and delight), the owner recognized me and told me that this was the re-opened Kodary Kimbap!!! They have the BEST kimbap along Aguirre Ave! She prepares the kimbap herself and one serving can easily fill you up. I highly suggest trying the donkas (pork tonkatsu) kimbap and the tuna kimbap. Her tuna kimbap has sesame leaves rolled in and you can really taste it. 128077

They also have great home-cooked simple Korean fare like kimchi stew, cheese ramyeon, tonkatsu, nengmyeon, and cheese tteokbokki, kimari, and rice meals. But the kimbap has and will always be the highlight of the show. Their free banchan (small plates of Korean 'ulams') is delicious and already quite plentiful, and the sweet owner offers a refill if you're lucky. 128521

Korean food isn't always BBQ and grilling, so this is a good place to try dishes they'd normally prepare at home. 128076
