A friend invited for an overnight stay Meranti Hotel. Boutique hotels are booming in Quezon City for both business and personal trips.

The best part of the hotel is the roof deck pool and lounge. The top floor provides a good view of the city. Room includes two single beds, mini bar, smart TV and the vanity dresser is just across the beds.

Breakfast is served at the ground floor with limited options. Food includes toast, sausage, danggit, corned beef, eggs, salad, cereals and coffee. There is also an ala carte menu but we preferred to order at Max’s in front of the hotel entrance.

The room service is actually commendable. Requests are delivered outright and staff greets every guest pleasantly during our stay.

I checked the rates online and an overnight stay will cost P4000++. Meranti Hotel is situated in Scout Castor near Tomas Morato.

This place is a breath of fresh air in the heart of Scout area. The infinity pool, although quite cold, is one of the best areas in the hotel. The rooms are equipped with smart TVs, wifi connection, and rainshower for bath. The breakfast buffet is also sumptuous and the restaurant also offers a la carte items which you'll love (get the Black Truffle Pasta and Bread Pudding!).

Overall experience was lovable!

You will spot rooms for improvement here and there but in totality the whole experience remains great. Their rooms and corridors have that sleepy feels. The room was accented with dim lights and decorated to look unfinished but is really well put together.

Complimentary breakfast was just enough. Enough to strengthen your body in the morning, enough to fill you up, and enough to give you a good jumpstart.

Meranti as a boutique hotel is a miniature luxury in the heart of Quezon City.

This is gem within Quezon City. It had a boutique hotel feel to it, but the amenities and the design is reminiscent of huge hotels. Anyway, i soooo loveee 128525 their roof deck (the photo) because it is really inviting and have a panoramic view of QC. I bet it looks grand at night. Their roof deck is perfect for a night cap or if you just want to hang out with a friend. The furniture is really cute as well. The downside is the pool, it's a little small, but I understand the constraints. The food is good too. I fell in love with the salad and the pork scallion in caper sauce that I had to recreate it the next day at home. I would definitely recommend staycation-ing in this hotel.
