Mesa is one of those go-to Filipino restaurants for our family. It's a place where good food, good price, good ambience, and good service are guaranteed. Salmon Head Sinigang is my favorite dish. 128077🏻128513

We had our dinner here yesterday with my friends. We love this place. Its worth the money. The dishes are true to its flavour. Laing is our favourite of all. The service was good and the staff are very attentive. The chicken was kinda dry but taste good. The bagoong rice was perfect.

Eating at Mesa for the nth time. Very good food and service as always. Had the pomelo salad, tinapa roll, boneless crispy pata, garlic fried chicken, laing 2 ways, and tinapa rice.

We were first seated near the restroom and I swear I smelled something fishy as in malansa (u know what i mean) so I said it to my mom but the problem was ako lang yung nakakaamoy but then I kept on conplaining until she asked the waiter to change our seats and we are seated near the entrance directly to the aircon (hay naku!) *face palms*

Amazed by their food. I mean wow sisig wrapped in wanton wrapper (wrapper of siomai) it was nakakaumay though, i bet you'll have your fill after two of those. Leche flan turon was literally what it was named after, wrapper in lumpia wrapper (wrapper of banna turon) filled with custard (leche flan) glazed with arnibal (caramelized sugar) all else was just meh.

Never liked filipino dishes like this before.
Quite classy interior, servers very attentive and accomodating
I ordered pomelo salad with latik (bottom--yeah i know it doesn't look that appealing to eat.) two way laing, crispy tilapia, sigarilyas (not in pic), crispy pata (also not in pic), and the tinola with buco (also NIP)

The pomelo were refreshing. Really good for appetizer. Although presentation wasn't a real bang for me. And i think this is a thai dish too?

The crispy tilapia's bone wasn't edible. Unlike the plapla that i've tasted at gulpers. But i really liked what they did to eat--hassle free tilapia cubes. Just fork and dip it to either bagoong, vinegar, sweet-sour sauces.

The buko chicken tinola was quite familiar for me. Tastes sweet and the buko meat was just really soft.

The two way laing (i figured out one was a bit dry, the other one was a bit 'saucified' 128518) wow. Tastes were really bold. I liked it. I like bold tasting veggies in which their sigarilyas offered me too.

The crispy pata's skin was not crispy. They were gooey. However the meat was really tender.

Sisig bombs! 128163128163128163

This dish tasted so good -- just the right crunchiness from the lumpia wrapper, juiciness from the sisig and completed by the tangy vinegar. This was such a winner for me. We had some leftovers, and when we ate the rest at home, still masarap.

I'd say this is even better than the crispy pata, but that's just me. The kamias shake was also something I really liked.

Today's my birthday but i celebrated my birthday with blockmates yesterday After our last class in UST, we went straight in rob mag to have lunch in Mesa. We got there around 1 pm and luckily we got a table for 6. I don't know if there's something wrong with the ac bc it was warm when we got in, but the servers were so cold! Hahaha! I didn't feel their greetings it was like they greeted us bc it's mandatory 128514

I ordered the ff.

Sisig with egg 110881108811088

The server said that sisig with egg is better than sisig in a pouch. It came in a sizzling plate and the server mixed the egg for us. It was okay, nothing special. It lacks flavor for me.

Chicken Pork Adobo 110881108811088 11088

It tasted great. Really love the combination of chix and pork. Small serving 128542

Adobong Squid 110881108811088

Really love squid but their version was okay with toasted garlic sprinkled on top. Troublesome to eat bc i have braces. Just imagine the ink between my teeth and brackets haha! 128513

Chicken Binakol 11088110881108811088

Served in buko husk. Brilliant way to garnish the soup. Shame that i haven't tried garnishing soup with this given that i am the daughter of coconut supplier, lol!
It was sweeter version of tinola with a twist. They put young coconut flesh and sausage and i think, the soup itself was the buko juice. New to my taste buds and i really enjoyed slurping it.

There's always room for dessert. I got curious when i read the crispy leche flan in the menu so i got 2 orders. 1 order has 4 tiny pieces garnished with sesame seeds and sugar.

It looks like turon and At first bite, it tasted like banana. It was super delicious! Soft, melt in your mouth leche flan with right amount of sweetness. 128077

Really enjoyed eating here not ony with the food but also bc of my blockmates who made my day memorable.

Happy Birthday to me! 127881127880127880127880

I love the laing so much + the squid is super good too! The chicken I dont like the tast too much, id rather stick to any normally roasted chicken of chooks than put fish sauce. Ughk.

They were very accomodating and i also like the interiors especially those seated in coach area. I didn't expect a lot of people when we entered but it was packed. I think its abit pricey on the side and we didn't even ordered that much.
