Really like their wrap sisig. 10084️ A really must try. Sometimes its good to it filipino dishes rather than fast food. And also, the ambiance and the interiors are great. Make sure you reserved a table during weekends to avoid long lines outside.

First time to dine here. A friend from Australlia just came back in the Philippines so I thought of this place because we need Filipino Cuisine. I love the interiors of the place. Very Filipino yet modern. I really recommend the Laing, Crispy Pata and Kare Kare. 128076🏻 They're just perfect!

This is one of my fave resto! I really loved their Tilapia with four sauces but we always order it so we decided to try something else. The Kare-Kare is goooood! And also Chicken Bbq with Honey Patis,'it is just right flavor and taste. The Binagoongan also is okay but it is a bit salty, I think that's the problem in all the Binagoongan that I've tried. Baby Squid with Olive Oil is the bomb! I must say! And their Blue Marlin Belly! All in all they offer good food but the serving sizes are too small for the price.

So it's Father's Day today so malls and restaurants are crazy full. We were supposed to eat at Mann Hann, but upon arriving, were told that they stopped taking walk-in customers and we had to go back after 2 hours (128561). Opted to leave and went to Mesa instead--really glad we ended up eating here because it was a great experience, from start to finish 128522

When I had my name listed, we were 4th in line. We just had to wait for a few minutes before we were seated. Ambiance and seats were comfy (there were a lot of customers but the seats were not cramped) and had a bit of a "sosyal" flair, utensils and water glasses were also quirky and unique.

We also experienced fast, efficient, non-haggard customer service (meaning the servers didn't look stressed) from the moment we had our seats reserved, until we were seated, had our orders taken, until bill out.

And most importantly, the food--just wow! We ordered the inihaw sampler (a mix of pork, chicken, and assorted seafood) and chicken binakol. The latter was SO GOOD. Just the right balance of sweet and sour, with a hint of flavor of chorizo and coconut. We had extra soup served in actual coconut, which added points to the unique taste and presentation.

One more favorite: they had condiments that complemented the meal real well. Two types of vinegar--one sour, one spicy--and a sweet/chili sauce that adds flavor to the food.

Hence, love the overall experience. Worth another try soon 128522128077🏻

Something about the food we ordered that day didn't seem to sit right in my belly. I've been here before and loved it, although we ordered something entirely different. Maybe these ones just weren't as good.

This was in SM Fairview by the way. And it's so hard to catch the waiters because of the table layout.

In the meantime, Xo46 and Mesa are both fighting on my mind. 128074128170 for my best filipino restaurant128077. Sorry mesa even your awesome, I still give the crown 128081 to xo46. But don't worry. You're my second best. 128523 lol!

We had a family dinner last night and I swear that everything that we ordered was DIVINE! (Arranged as per my top favorites) Inspired by miss universe. Hahaha!

128081landed on no. 1 spot is Sinigang na salmon head. 260php. Salmon was fresh and the soup grabeee perfect ang pagkaasim. Medyo ang Oa ng grabee ko hahaha 128516

2nd best was their laing 2ways. 170php Kung ganito kasarap ang pagkaluto ng laing. Kahit hindi aq mahilig sa laing. Im sure hindi ako magsasawa. One was cooked in a traditional way and the other one was crispy. Excellent food. 128523

3rd runner up goes to beef kare-kare 305php. One of the best karekare ever. Will definitely recommend for people looking for karekare. Why just placed 3rd? Small serving plus not so tender meat but still the sabaw was ayyy nako ang sarap. Also the bagoong was not too salty. 128513

It was such a disappointment to place you in 4th place. But Don't get me wrong, Their crispy boneless pata. 505php Was good. I was amazed how it was cooked. The skin was super crispy and the meat was sooooo tender. But for its price. The one I tasted in cebu for much cheaper price was better. But again. This one was good. 128539

Lastly baby crispy squids. 215php. Masarap but because others are super masarap. Hindi na namin napansin ay may crispy squids pa pala. So ended up na pinapak na lang namin sya. 128586

For dessert we ordered crispy leche flan 70php. 4rolls. Must try maiba lang. Wrapped leche flan. Its like eating turon with something that melts in your mouth thing inside. Doesn't taste leche flan for me. But it was really good.

All in all amazing experienced. Service was quick, good ambiance, juices tasted good and price is just right. Except for the rice. They dont have a big order of plain rice. So ended up ordering 10cups of rice. 400php for rice parang hindi makatarungan.128569

It was such a great experience dining at Mesa in SM North Edsa. I was with my friend when I went there and we enjoyed it a lot. We ordered baked scallops with butter garlic. I liked garlic the most because it was really good and very appetizing. Tee taste was perfect and balance. I highly recommend dining at Mesa Filipino Moderne anytime. Mesa Filipino Moderne in SM North Edsa Main Bldg is one of my well loved restaurants in town. My favorite dish of their would be the Crispy Boneless Fish.
Actually it still has its fish-bones but atleast all the big parts have been filleted for me already. The fish-bones were actually for garnishing purposes. The Tilapia is a huge one. Very crispy and very flavorful and also fresh just to add. It is quite appetizing indeed! I was referred by Rufina C to join the #loolooiPhone6giveaway!

After my sumptuous meal at mesa, I tried their crispy leche flan for desert. I was curious about it's taste and what's the difference to typical leche flan, so I give it a try. Upon serving, it was just like the typical turon merienda of pinoy but upon biting on it, it was a blast of all the sweetness of the leche flan. It was very sweet and delicious.. it's best to share it with friends because this crispy leche flan is not enough for me.. its like i want to order mooooreee and have take out! :) I was referred by Kuya J to join the #loolooiPhone6giveaway!

Craving for Kare-Kare? Satisfy your cravings at Mesa! 128516128077127860
Their Kare-kare Beef and Tripe (good for sharing) has generous serving of, well, beef and tripe 128517 and veggies as well.
Its savory peanut sauce is very creamyyyyy and the taste is enhanced even more when paired with bagoong. *drooling 128516

pinoy tanghalian #mesa: baby pusit in olive oil+crispy catfish+tofu sisig = busog saya!

the baby pusit is a favorite (it's a toss up between their version & romulo's). we tried the tofu sisig for the 1st time and it did not disappoint. what's surprising was it went well with the crispy catfish (another favorite), something about the chili & Bagoong of the catfish complimenting the taste is the tofu sisig. pleasantly surprised.

Met up with two of my college friends and had lunch here. Usually, Filipino restaurants don't impress me that much because I believe that the best Filipino dishes are home cooked! There's just something special and charming about it. But I did find the food here quite delicious. We ordered a grilled platter (good for 3 persons but we had a few leftovers), and had leche flan for dessert. The grilled platter consisted of pork bbq, liempo, squid, fish, chicken, mussels and shrimps. Everything tasted good. The leche flan was okay, nothing really special about it. I love the decorations here too!
