Mesa is one of the Filipino restaurants that I particularly like and our go to orders are the tilapia, itlog na pula rice and baked scallops.
The order is just enough for the two of us. I love how you just pop the tilapia in your mouth, no need to 'himay'! And the crunchiness of the garlic on the scallops is just so yummy!
When we dine as a bigger group we also get the patotim, the binakol chicken and laing rice which are also good.
Dining here you must be ready to wait. I think roundabout 15mins or so as it is really prepared upon ordering.
Less one star though cos the dining manager dropped a few ice cubes on me when I asked for more ice 128517
Php700+ for all this delicious food. Not bad!

Crispy fried hito- Tastes really good. I'd go back for this.

Baby squid in olive oil- For P310, not sulit because super small portion lang.. but tastes good naman. I still think Abe's version is the best, but ok na din ito, taste- wise.

Crispy Pata- Mesa's version is boneless.. I didnt like it. Malansa, and yucky... Will never order this again. Parang undercooked and not malutong. Worst crispy pata I have tasted.

Laing- I love their laing. Will order this again with the hito!

Mango salad- good with the hito!!!

Sinigang na salmon- Ok lang. For 260, ok na. Not bad, but not spectacular either.

My favorite Filipino restaurant by far! Had impromptu dinner with my parents here and we decided to go for seafood and veggies. I don't ever pass on Sinigang na Hipon when I dine in any Filipino restaurant, so of course we ordered that. I loved it. The soup was thicker than others I've tasted and it had a distinct taste that I don't know how to describe. 128514 But on top of everything else, I loved the Laing 2 Ways!! Best laing I've ever had in my life. I prefer the crispy laing over the ginataang laing though. Must try!

I had the "must-try" drunken ostrich dish. Has a sweet garlic barbecue kind of taste. Meat itself is kind of a cross between chicken and beef. Not too stringy or chewy, but not too tender either. Nori did not seem to fit in with the dish.

Overall: exotic, but not overly special. Price is not bad.

I used to love this restaurant, however I kinda dislike my last visit.

We ordered the following:
Baked tahong with cheese, since I am really a baked tahong lover, I shouldnt miss to order this. But I disliked their mussels, it taste like it was not fresh.

Crispy Boneless Tilapia Served with four sauces, I used to like this dish before, because of its taste and its plating. Before they served the tilapia in a bonggacious heart shape but now, it was just like that, normal.

Pork Binagoongan, it was tasty at first but the shrimp paste seems to be too sweet na nakakaumay na yung lasa pag matagal na.

For my drinks, I had Kamias Shake, I really love soury flavor and I really enjoyed this drink, it was not that soury but their is a distinct flavor of Kamias that is very refreshing! Sarap!

It looks like I didnt enjoy my dinner here. But I still recommend this place for you, because there are lots of other things on their menu. you should try it out!

My default orders whenever I go to Mesa would be baked tahong with cheese, boneless crispy pata & laing 2 ways. Really yummy128076128522

Adobong baby squid lacks flavor, while the grilled prawns in lemon butter isn't too special for the price (medyo malansa pa).

Baked scallops dish is good too as well as their sago gulaman128077128156

Mesa again, and would never get tired of dining here. Did I already said from my previous post that they offer legit must try appetizers?!

We ordered Tinapa Roll (155 php) - very reasonable! A mix of savory tinapa bits, tomatoes, onions, and salted egg inside, this was indeed appetizing for an appetizer!

Since I'm into 'healthy meals' these days, we ordered Crispy Tilapia with four sauces. I'm really amazed on how the chef make the fish look like that on the picture.

I like their version of Crispy Tilapia since the meat was already cut into cubes and cooked into that 'perfect-golden-brown' look. Though there are still some meat attached on the bone of the artsy tilapia.

There are four sauces in which I'm not really sure.. but based on my taste buds, they are vinegar-based dip, spicy version of vinegar-based dip, bagoong, and sweet and spicy dip (correct me if I'm wrong). I personally love the combination of bagoong and vinegar on this dish. Or maybe you could also pair this to their Ensaladang Talong which is served on a margarita glass!

I love the dishes in Mesa.. Filipino dishes with an interesting artsy twist! They never fail to make my tummy smile everytime I visit the restaurant. I'll definitely go back here to try other dishes and to come back for my favorite ones!

Was craving for scallops last weekend so we decided to have dinner at mesa. It's only my third time to eat here and I love it already. Hassle Lang some rude girl cut in front of us while we were waiting for the hostess to assist us. No manners!
Anyways, we got the scallops, crispy tilapia and tinapa rice. Everything was so good! Servers were quick and observant too.
Will definitely go back soon ü

Hmm.. Too sad I am a bit dissapointed with mesa..

I really like mesa, filipino food with a twist 128515 BUT

maybe on this branch only? Anyway, me and my hubby ordered

Tawilis with manga
Laing in 2ways
2ways beef

I enjoyed the tawilis with manga soo 127775127775127775127775 for that!

for the laing two ways, They served TUYOT
AND MASABAW? Lol haha! Anyway, there version of laing was not that spicy so I have to request for an additional sili and make dikdik dikdik all 2 sili 128561 and still di pa din 128517 so -127775 for that

2ways beef? Guys! Don't order this! I am soooo disappointed! 2ways of beef, 1 was dry adobo lang and the other one is like curry for me and the serving? It's actually good for 1 and worth 300+ ! Look at the picture... -127775

Thank God the service was good and staff are very friendly and they always refill my icedtea +127775 with that!

All in all, i'm a bit disappointed 128554 but i'll give them another chance, and will not order those except for tawilis! 128523128523128523

Family valentines dinner at Mesa since I'm the forever alone type of guy. 128531 anyway. Glad that they were still able to find a seat for the 6 of us since there were lots of people during that day. Their food is good as I expect them to be. I really live those seashells with cheese. I forgot what it's called but it's a must try. We ordered a couple of more foods not in the picture but nonetheless we were pretty satisfied with it. Makes you forget you're single in a valentine's eve. 128557 haha. Oh and we also got complimentary dessert, the one in the middle, don't know what it's called but it's like some type of jelly with strawberry on top. Tastes good too. Or maybe acquired taste since my sis told me it tasted like tempra syrup. 128516 service was good and accommodating. Can't wait to be back :)

If you love Filipino food and it's authenticity but with a modern twist, you'll surely love this restaurant.

I wanted to be safe since I am with my mom and it's both our first time to dine there so we ordered the Inihaw Sampler which is good for 2 to 4 persons. The seafood were fresh and tasty. The liempo and quarter leg were also well done grilled and soft to chew. The sweet and spicy sauce was to die for!

The service was good and they are very attentive. 9786

Our family loves Mesa. Great filipino food at a great price as well. Not to mention their service us great. We love the Blue Marlin since we always order it whenever we dine here. Lots of food choices and as of writing, the ones we have ordered are good. I love their coolers as well. So far i only tried 2 of them, one is the grapes and the other is kamias. Both are worth ordering. 128516 For dessert, you should try their fried leche flan. It tastes sooo good. 128522
