Cheese flauta. Needed more cheese or to be cooked a little more.

Crispy taco. Very meaty. More cumin for the meat please.

Refried beans. Very bland.

Food is cheap. Pwede na din. Stayed here while waiting for a spot in Nook.

Mexican Express is one if my favorite restaurants/fast food place along Maginhawa street.

Before Maginhawa became uber popular with different casual dining, hole-in-the-wall restaurants, and fast food places facing one another...Mexican Express was one of the first and will forever be my favorite even if there will be new Mexican Cuisine places in the future. Why? Have you tried their Chimicangas? Well, if you have not, then you should so you will know why I love the place.

I like their Cheese Flautas too. It is a good appetizer while waiting for my main entree.

I did not like their Crispy taco that much. It is not that it tasted awful but I am not a fan of fried beans.

WARNING: The place can accommodate ten or less customers but the beauty of this place, it is beside other restaurants where you are allowed to order and eat it there together with your favorite Mexican meal.

If parking is a hassle, or no seats available, you can still enjoy their food because they deliver (within the village)

I still love their food - super beef burrito and cheese flauta but I noticed how small the serving is now compared to years ago.

We ordered nacho grande, chimichangga and a beef special burrito. Most of the items ranges from 120-150 which is quite affordable considering the serving size. Everything was good and it really hits the spot if you're craving for mexican food. No wow factor but still okay for me 128077128077128077 My fave is the chimichangga because it has corn and cheese inside the deep fried tortilla wrapper but the chicken filling is a bit bland.

If I were to ask, Chimichangga is Mexican Express' best-selling dish.

It's heavy, it's delicious and the price is reasonable. I love the chunky chicken mixed with spices, corn, and salsa.

After the malingap Z compound food trip. We went for some quick mexican fix. It was a bit a long walk from the compound to Mexican Express. But we didn't mind since we were still busy chatting. 128513 When we arrived, I immediately noticed the space. There were not much of tables and chairs. Ang nangyare was sort of a cocktail style. Haha. Mga nakatayo.
Thanks to our trainer, he treated us nachos. And tacos for him. lol. The service was fast. But it wasn't my favorite tho. 128542 There's nothing special about it.

One of the first few places that I've tried in Maginhawa a couple of years ago is Mexican Express, and I must say I kept coming back ever since. Though menu selection is limited, they have Mexican favorites usually ordered like burrito and nachos. But my favorite actually is their Ice Cream Wrap, complete with chocolate syrup and nuts.

Mexican Express is an affordable Mexican restaurant along Maginhawa street. I like their sift taco, chimichangga, and cheese flautas.

Now, I have a new favorite. It was the first time I had Taco Pizza and it's delicious. I can actually finish it all by myself.

I loved Miggy's Supertacos when I was a kid, which made me super happy when I saw the logo on the counter of Mexican Express.

Same old comfort food goodness, same menu and taste! I loved their Chimichanga then, and also now! 128525 Glad they're back! 128513

Beyond excited when i saw that Miggy's logo! I used to eat there way back when i was in college.

Of course i had to order my fave Chimichanga. It was as good as i remembered it! Chicken, corn and cheese! And even better when dunked in their salsa.

Hubby loved his beef burrito too! We're going back for their tacos and burrito dog next time. (They were sold out already at 9pm on a saturday night)

*parallel parking along the street
**seats around 10 inside and 6 outside
***the owner of Miggy's has migrated thus the new name Mexican Express which is owned by the brother
****and yes we hit up Good Burgers, ETC and Mexican Express in one night, don't judge us! 128540

Bought takeout since I hadn't had lunch yet yesterday. The chicken quesadillas wasn't really anything special. It was like what Taco Bell has, just cheaper.

Mexican Foods at a very affordable price! Whenever I'm craving for Mexican nachos, I always go here.

Another reason to love this place is its just beside Good Burgers and other food chains. Food chains around the area allowed their customers to buy foods in other chains and you'll just tell them where you at and their personally deliver it them at your table. My friends and I stayed at Mexicali but we bought burgers too in Good burgers.128522
